We came to the hotel after a few days of camping and with a sick child. The crew was super helpful and kind during the reception and check-in as well as after. The hotel-apartment we had was perfect for our needs, with the fridge and stove, clean and with enough space for a toddler. I was expecting a very basic breakfast, but eventually it was great (not 5 stars but more than basic). The location is perfect. I think the highlight of the place though, is the great crew!

the shower was a bit small and always needed ventilation. We did not sit in the outdoor breakfast zone, because the smoking spot is right there. I think they should cancel that smoking spot.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests or provide recommendations. The room had a kitchen that was well-stocked with all necessary appliances and utensils, making me feel instantly at home. Though the bathroom was slightly cramped, it was well-maintained and functional. The bed offered exceptional comfort, ensuring restful nights. While my breakfast options were limited due to a recent dentist visit, I appreciated the variety and quality available. In addition to its prime location, the hotel boasts a charming décor that reflects the local culture and history, adding a unique touch to the overall experience. The lobby offers comfortable seating, if you must wait for check-in time or a Taxi to pick you up. The hotel's ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a delightful place to return to after a day of exploring the city. The location truly is unbeatable, with easy access to major attractions and public transport. Overall, a highly recommendable stay!

We really liked the location of the hotel. It is in a walking area, surrounded by nice bars and restaurants, plus it's walking distance from various tourist sights and attractions which are a must see if visiting Budapest. The room was nice, clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was amazing as well, super helpful and available 24/7. There are some very nice touches, like complementary, home-made ice-team or lemonade during the day, and sangria during the evening. The breakfast was also very nice, with loads of options and nice Nescafe coffee.

Nothing that we didn't like. We had a minor issue with a dripping AC, but we mentioned it at the front desk and they fixed it during the day. So as mentioned above, very nice and reactive staff.

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Budapest This hotel is an absolute gem — perfect for travelers of all tastes. The location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of the city, yet tucked away just enough to enjoy peace and quiet. It’s the ideal base to explore Budapest in any direction, with fantastic restaurants just steps away. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality.

Excellent location being a short walk to the Opera House and on the train line to Szechenyi baths. Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Tiema and Keira provided information and booked Hop-On-Hop-Off bus for us. Room 203 had 2 single beds, great en-suite bathroom and kitchenette with sink, kettle, coffee machine, fridge and microwave. 2 burner electric hot plate too. Table and 2 chairs in our room too. Window onto street but no noise at night. Strudel Kitchen next-door with yummy cakes and coffee. Many cafes and eateries nearby. Breakfast was very good too with many options available.

In Australia we have much larger doonas so we were unaccustomed to small ones on our beds. Pillows are small and flat, one on each bed, but more are available on request. May be this little mention is a cultural difference and personal preference.

Hotel was very central. All the Staff were so mannerly and friendly from Reception to Cleaning staff. Room was really nice with a kitchenette including Microwave, kettle, coffee maker and fridge. Bed was really comfortable. We requested extra pillows on day 2 and they were delivered very promptly. Lovely Bathroom with excellent shower. Great breakfast to set us up for the day. We really enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to friends and family. If we are ever in Budapest again this is where we will stay.

Nothing not to like

I had a great stay at this hotel! Everything was exactly what I needed — clean, comfortable, and well-organized. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were helpful and polite throughout. Breakfast was just right: not too much, not too little, with fresh options and, most importantly, good coffee. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a smooth, hassle-free experience.

Hotel located in two nice buildings in the pedestrian zone, close to all lovely destinations. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Great maintenance and cleanliness of the rooms. Real city jewel of a hotel. Breakfast can be taken in the main building, outside in adjacent space or in the building courtyard. Fresh lemonade, ice cream and ice tea available at all times. Hotel can arrange your airport transfer, car rentals, Danube cruise and other activities.

Rooms could have been slightly more comfortable or constructed with more attention to usability of space. Breakfast could have been a bit more varied. It is rather simple, very few choices.

This is a lovely, centrally located hotel. Our en-suite room was a good size & had a kitchenette, including fridge. The bed was king-size, possibly bigger & extremely comfortable. There was a pillow menu, so you could request additional or different types of pillows. The staff were, without exception, professional, friendly & helpful. The buffet style breakfasts were good, with enough choices. You could help yourself to complementary tea in the day (mulled wine in the evening), which was a nice touch. We enjoyed our stay here & would definitely recommend this hotel.

Air conditioning. Bacon at breakfast. Rituals products in bathroom. Kitchenette. Nice shopping not far away. You can walk many places. The staff was polite and easy to get in contact with.

A lot of perfume in the reception, nice if less. The room was dusty/dirty in corners. Could change sheets more, I got sunscreen marks on it and it should have been changed but was not. The curtains are really bad. They should be wider and longer, we woke up early in the morning multiple times every day because all the light. They are not sufficient and it is hard to sleep. No fried eggs at breakfast, no allergy markings and descriptions of what they serve on small notes. Should also be a sign that they have allergy alternatives and you should request from staff. The breakfast buffet is the same upstairs and downstairs, should be more variety.
