Very central, right by the Metro, St Stephens Basilica just a 5 min walk away and a Lidls round the corner - what more could one want! 😄 Also there was a lift which was useful. Istvan, the concierge, was very helpful.

There was nothing l didn’t really like about the property, but for the fact there was only one toilet/shower and 4 rooms with potentially 8 people wanting to use it at the same time! If the shower and toilet were separate, that would be been slightly better, but all in one room? Although there was a main kitchen upstairs, the small kitchen could have at least had a microwave and a few more pieces of crockery, rather than having to go upstairs to use the main kitchen. However, like a Boomerang, l would definitely stay there again.

We had a small flat with a full kitchen and kitchen table and chairs, large bedroom with TV and a balcony. 1-1/2 bath. It suited us just fine and was very comfortable! It was great to be able to cook breakfast and make lunch to take away. The location was great for sightseeing just blocks from the Opera and many, many good restaurants and cafes. Loved the space and the tall ceilings - and those marvelous older windows that are tall and open (French doors) onto the balcony that overlooks the pedestrian access to eateries and shopping. We had no trouble sleeping. Shower and bath worked fine. The main office (different building) was very nice and responsive. It was great to have the small lift. A wonderful stay!

Would have been nice to have kitchen stocked with salt, pepper, oil, and washing soap. Just basic kitchen supplies that aren't sold in small quantities that are needed. Who wants to buy full size when you'll be there for 2-3 days?

Everything was gooood....!

It is perfectly located in the city center with convince public transportation connections and a pleasant neighbourhood to walk around. Our host is super friendly and the check-in check-out procedures are smooth and easy. The room itself is quite spacious with all the essential facilities, especially the lovely balcony which we enjoyed the most for a perfect summer night right after a full day of activities. We appreciate the hospitality and highly recommend the property.

Basic but very clean facilities, we had a private room with shared bathroom with 4 other apartments on the floor but most weren't occupied so it was almost our own. Pretty good kitchen facilities and equipment to allow us to cook a little. Great value for money! Great location just off the Arany Janos ter (off of Metro line 3)

The only bad part was it's hard to find at night in the dark because streets are confusing and change names from block to block. Go on the metro or bus to Arany Janos Ter (square), just north of St. Istvan's Basilica, and Bank Utca is just off the far corner of the square, Bank Utca 7 is the corner building. Small sign, look for buzzer.

Although this is a hostel, I booked the room with a private bath. Not only a private bath, but refrigerator, microwave, and even a washing machine. It was an apartment! It was located nearby the hostel, not in the same building, but the hostel staff were available for questions, etc.

The floor’s lighting outside in the hall was nonexistent. Needed flashlight. The lighting in the rooms was dim, but quite sufficient.

I liked the fact that they were really kind with me and partner, f2f but also through the chat. I liked the room, the fact that I did an early check in, that we had a locker after the check out. It was a really nice accomodation. The kitchen of the apartment was really nice equipped and we had everything we needed. For sure we will come back

Maybe next time you can insist a little bit more on the cleaning, in the sense that I found some hair on the bedsheets, which I removed myself. And also put at least 2 towels per person, please. One is not enough. Sometimes it was noisy, the sounds were coming from the lower floor and you could've hear some things from there, but I ignored it.

We arrived expecting a hostel with a shared bathroom but got more then we could’ve possible expected, we were greeted to an apartment with a private kitchen, bathroom and even a washing machine. The bed was huge and comfy, and the location was perfect less than 5 minutes from parliament. For the price we paid I think we got way better then we expected and I would recommend Boomerang hostel to any travels to Budapest!

I can’t think of a single thing wrong with this place.

I am amazed at how nice my room was. I was in complete shock with how modern and clean and spacious it was. I felt very comfortable in the room and cosy. It was very central and a brilliant place to stay for our few days here in budapest. If i was to come to budapest again i would book this place again for sure. Many thanks to Istvan who collected us from the airport late at night and brought us back to the accomadtion. The staff are also very nice and helpful.

I was kind of disappointed that there was no tv which maybe later down the line one will be added into rooms as there in the middle of renovating the place up also that the beds were a little hard but nothing to uncomfortable. None of this actually affected my stay anyhow.

The property was in an excellent location, making it really easy to get around the city. The room was a great size, very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The staff were also fantastic, friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Overall, it’s great value for money and I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Got a little hot in the room, however this can’t really be helped since we were experiencing a heatwave.
