Location - right beside St Stephen Basilica and very accesible to public transportation and convenient with cafes, supermarkets, etc. The hosts are super kind and friendly, they are always ready to reply your messages and gave tips on cost savings.

Although my accommodation was on the 8th floor, I can hear loud music, screamings (probably drunk), from the Bistros nearby. If you are a light sleeper, you should place this into consideration. Otherwise, it's a great place to stay. Also you may be awaken by the happy laughters from visitors to the Basilica.

Really nice and fun staff! Even before we arrived, they gave us clear directions on how to get there and were happy to answer all our questions. When we checked in, they provided each of us with a pair of earplugs, which made us a bit worried about noise. But in the end, we slept really well. They have a quiet policy after 11:00 p.m., and it worked great. Luggage storage was free, and the location couldn’t be better, in the very heart of the city. Highly recommended for travellers who want both convenience and a friendly atmosphere!

Really nice and fun staff!

The locastion was amazing, you have the view right away to the Basilica and to the Christmas market. Everything is super close, so we went through the city on foot the full stay we were there. Another thing that we noticed first when we entered the room was how it smelled like clean, so it is super nice to feel that. The apartment itself is really spacious, has its own bathroom and kitchen. There is always warm water, and the heating is adjustable in the rooms. We had some things that needed to be explained to us, so we reached out to the host who is SUPER SUPER responsive! 👏🏻 We just really enjoyed our full stay, and thanks for taking care of our bags begore and after our check in/out.

Everything was superb!

The hotel is in an extremely strategic position. It's right in front of one of the main Christmas markets, right next to St Stepehen's Basilica, and barely a ten minutes walk from bus and subway stations (including the airport bus one!). It's also within walking distance from the Parliament and other main attractions: staying here made visiting the city extremely easy and accessible. We stayed in a four bed (two bedroom) apartment. The facilities were all in great condition, the apartment was bigger than we'd pictured and everything was super clean (we had to move one bed off the wall, and not a speck on dust!). Beds were surprisingly comfortable, too. The staff were super nice, they stored our baggage before and after check out and were super helpful anytime we had any questions or issues. We had a small problem with the toilet (our own fault), and it was fixed quickly and without any sort of pushback. The stay was a great experience, I'd 100% recommend Pal's to anyone looking for a great place to stay while visiting Budapest for a few days.

The location was amazing. We stayed in the penthouse and had a fantastic view of the Christmas market and the projections on St. Stephensdom. Very clean. Fantastic price. While reception isn't there 24 hrs a day, they will be there whenever needed (just forward travel info so they know to meet you). Additionally, the airline lost all 4 of our checked bags They were returned to us over 2 days. Reception worked with the baggage delivery service to be there to receive the luggage so we could pick it up from reception. They were very kind and helpful about it. Earplugs were also offered at check-in, but the room was actually very quiet. Noise from the Christmas market didn't even keep me up. Furniture and bedding were basic (Ikea style) but comfortable. I absolutely would recommend staying here.

Not a bad thing, but be aware that the apartments are spread out around the square in different buildings. My parents also stayed in an apartment, and they were located across the square from us (we could see each other's windows). Just be aware if you are a group wanting to be in the same building you may need to check with the hotel directly. Only one small towel was given per guest for showering. It would have been nice to have at least 2 towels per guest, especially for a multi-night stay. The upstairs shower had poor water pressure, and the downstairs shower could not be used standing up or it would flood the bathroom. There was a different key for every door inside and outside the apartment (again not taking "points" off for this, but some people like to know).

Location is excellent. A few minutes walk to the public transport stations . 20 minutes walk to the parliament, shoes on the Danube, St Stephen’s Basilica is right in front of the apartment and the view from the windows were basilica and the Christmas market!! Lots of restaurants near by and west end shopping centre is nearby ! “The beautiful Mc Donald’s” is also walkable distance !! The rooms were nice and clean . initially I was doubtful about being cold especially with my young children but , the rooms were always warm enough, lots of hot water .

Brilliant place. Amazing location (the view from the balcony!) convenient for everything, yet quiet: I had the best nights' sleep I've had in weeks in the comfortable apartment, kept cool with high ceilings and strong fans. The beds were comfortable, big fridge and fully equipped kitchen. Staff were welcoming and friendly, the common areas cool and creative, but quiet - no partying here. It was absolutely perfect for our family and I can't believe what good value it was!

Location is amazing and it’s charming as well. All the necessities are available and more than ample space for traveling with multiple people. We did little to no research prior to traveling to Budapest and was a last minute addition to our Taylor Swift concert in Vienna (still very bummed at the outcome), but we were more than pleasantly surprised when we were dropped off by the taxi and the location and amenities—it was a magical stay! Communication was prompt and effective leading up to arrival and the hostel felt extremely safe (Budapest as a whole felt very safe too!). Beds and linens were comfortable and my only complaint is that we should’ve stayed longer. Definitely would recommend and I hope to stay there again one day!

Fantastic location, literally opposite the Basilica. All other sites were within easy walking distance. Our room was big with a separate bathroom and kitchen. It was very clean and warm (December stay). The rooms are very secure. One thing, the bed was a little hard. There is no tv in the room but we didn't care about that, too tired to watch TV when we got back. Also we didn't use the wifi so can't comment on that. I stayed with my daughter for xmas market visit.

Fantastic location, everything was on or doorstep.. Very central, right on St Steven's Square with the most amazing view of the Basilica. Air conditioned, felt very safe, good sized basic apartment with a small kitchen. We were on the 8th floor but there were 2 lifts so thankfully we didn't have to carry our bags up all those stairs! Also, being other 8th floor was quiet, even with the windows open.

We expected to be staying in the hostel but we're actually in an apartment block across the square. It wasn't a problem, it just wasn't what we expected.
