We were checked in by kind and friendly staff and were given a free room upgrade because it was available, so we had a nice big room with a balcony that was surprisingly nice to sit out on (despite looking out onto a busy road). Comfy bed, nice dark shutters and air con made for good sleeping. A potentially difficult location to find (through multiple doors with keypad passcodes) was made easy by very clear instructions prior sent prior to arrival. Very close to metro stations and close enough to many of the city's attractions to walk to them.

The lights in the bathroom made a quite loud but very high pitch whining noise which I didn't enjoy. My wife couldn't hear it though, so at least it made me feel young to still be able to hear it :)

Location is ideal for a 3-4 days in Budapest. 5 min from airport bus station. Walking distance to all sightseeing. The room we got was fully renovated, had a great shower with heated floor. The bed was super comfortable and big. We also had view on Saint Stephen Basilica. The hotel entrance is not renovated but they take this off the room price so win-win. Breakfast was more than decent and the guys working there were very friendly. The rooms was cleaned daily and provided basic cosmetics, coffee and tea. There is a pizza restaurant next to the hotel that has great food.

Some traffic noise as the hotel is between busy roads.

Perfect location: one of the fashion streets of Budapest with cafes and boutiques, metro is right here, 20m from entrance. Express bus (101E) to the airport is 300m away. Good size of the room, helpful and friendly staff. Atmospheric house of 19 century.

Not sound proof at all, could hear every word, snoring and other sounds of the neighbour. Old dirty carpet floor needs to be replaced, as well as the table surface. Shortcomings don't overweigh advantages though.

Location is in the historical center and very close to the main basilica. The double bed was creatively made out of two single beds using some mattress connectors. There were many beautiful decorations in the hallway and in the room. The room was quite comfortable, but we had to be creative with the temperature adjustments due to unpredictable heaters. WiFi worked well in the mornings, but in the evenings the connection was weak. The breakfast was very good in the nearby restaurant. Staff members were very friendly, check-in and check-out went smoothly.

The heaters were turning on and off randomly, but we could adjust the temperature in the room using air-conditioner, which was not very quiet at night. The windows were facing the inner yard where it was mostly quiet, but trash bins were emptied with noticeable noise at 6 AM in the morning, even on Sunday. Hotel owners kindly provide ear plugs, but I never found them comfortable for sleeping.

This hotel was perfectly located right next to the basilica, which we had a brilliant view of from the very large windows in our room. Apart from the basilica, the hotel is well located next to a range of other attractions, and a bunch of public transport and dining options. We were able to easily walk all over Budapest from here. The room also had high ceilings, a full desk, couch and large bathroom with both bathtub and shower, so we were really comfortable when we came back from all our exploring and had to do some work calls etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful compared to most of the other officials we came across in tourist spots in Budapest and helped us with hot spring tickets, public transport advice and more. Would definitely stay again.

The room was big and fresh. Toilet was also very big. We knew that as we paid for that, but it was nice to see that was actually true. The bed was comfy, the room was clean and the staff was very nice and very helpful. The place was perfectly located for us, a bit outside from the main streets, but everything was at a walking distance or reachable by public transportation.

Everything was good. If we can say something, the room was not perfectly soundproofed. That said, we had no issues. The breakfast included in the price at the Thai restaurant downstairs, was not so good but sufficient for us.

The location is very good, it feels like everything is within walking distance. The room is big and spacious, with high ceiling and big windows. Even though there is traffic on the street in front all the time, you can barely hear the traffic with the windows closed. Breakfast is average, not too many things too choose from but OK for the price. The Staff is nice and helpful. I would visit again.

The bathroom is absurdly small... i mean, you can take a shower wile sitting on the toilet. Speaking about shower... there is no delimitation between the shower floor and the rest of the bathroom so... while taking a shower, the whole bathroom floor gets flooded. Oh.. and the sink.. only in trains i've seen such small sink, if you want to wash your face or your teeth, you'll get water all over the place. The walls between the rooms are super thin.. i mean you could hear other guests normally chatting... Things to consider if you are a light sleeper.

We are 2 retired couples who love travelling. This was our first time in Budapest and we absolutely loved everything about our short stay. The hotel is in a fabulous position- you could get everywhere easily on foot or outside the hotel was a station of the metro 1. The hotel staff were very hospitable and were always there to answer any questions. The rooms were very spacious and clean with a bathroom ensuite. Everything to make a cup of tea/coffee plus two bottles of water and toiletries. We also had breakfast included which was great - being a buffet with choice of sweet and savoury. Lots of choice and a very nice waiter who I didn’t manage to get the name of.

Nothing really that we didn’t like just a couple of things - we found the rooms very hot but after telling reception they adjusted it. The other thing we found the basin very small in the bathroom / really only good for washing your hands but as I said nothing really.

What a wonderful hotel!! It's in an amazing location! On the main street with tons of shopping, restaurants, bars, cafes, close to the water, across from St. Stephens Basilica, the Hop on Hop Off Bus stop is across the street, and it's close to several attractions. This is in the heart of it all. The bedroom is spacious with a couch and desk, the bathroom was very spacious and must have had heated floors because they were warm. Loved it! Very nicely decorated and charming. The bed was big and comfortable. Really appreciate the kettle with tea and coffee in the room. We had the room with a view of the Basilica and it was stunning!!! We also were able to send for laundry which was very reasonable and convenient. There is a life and the place is very secure. Ear plugs are provided and helpful. This is a city. You are next to it all. It may be a little noisy. Use the ear plugs. They were perfect. Breakfast is included. There is a wide range of options included. I haven't even told you about the service yet. From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed and kindly accommodated with patience while we asked a ton of questions and wanted to get settled though we were early. Everyone was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Tibi is the best! I cannot thank him enough for his kindness and thoughtfulness. He went out of his way. Not only am I grateful but what a terrific representation of Budapest and my experience. Lasting impression. We highly recommend this place and would stay here again!

The suite room 106 was THE BEST! The bed was the perfect balance of stiff and soft. The place has style! I could relax and feel safe and happy. The suite had everything I could ever need for a vacation. The lights were not too dim or too bright. The minibar and the kettle were used every day and it was perfect. The bathroom was spacious and worked as it should so I am pleased. The hotel staff were more than nice to me so they get the most praise :) Superb location. More so a SUPERB hotel :D Thank you.
