Amazing location in the heart of downtown Budapest. If you take the airport shuttle bus (100E), you're dropped a literal five minute walk away from here, and same to head back towards the airport. Very doable even if you have luggage. There are a lot of nice cafés and restaurants in the area, and you're also walking distance from a lot of historical buildings in Budapest. Our room was very clean and the bathroom was great with a bidet and powerful shower. There's automated check-in with a code to enter the building, which is convenient if you're arriving late. There's also a luggage storage facility.

The check-out is quite early at 10.00. The hotel was kind enough to extend this to 11.00 for us, but when arriving late at night it's still quite an early check-out. You can hear other rooms a bit but it wasn't really an issue for us.

It's in the city center, everything is very close (bars, public transport, monuments) and the price is absolutely correct in that area! The self check-in is very easy. The room is very big and comfortable, there is everything what you need (fridge,tv,air-condition,wardrobe) we slept very well, the street is not noisy! +1 bonus there is also bidet!

The room and bathroom were very clean but we found lot of hairs on the bedsheets. It's not there fault, maybe the cleaning company didn't made the best job on that day - it wasn't big problem at all, just to mention, otherwise everything was perfect, absolutely reccomend it, also next time we will choose this place!

I liked the easy self check-in (though they should probably mention on the site that you CAN check in outside of normal working hours too, I would imagine it would attract more sales?) and no unnecessary chatter or timewasting from the staff. The rooms are equipped perfectly and although there are some minor imperfections on some of the walls, overall the place is very clean and nicely furnished.

Early checkout (although this is a bit standard with all places), and the fact that they have the ability to check in late but don't advertise it on the page.

Excellant location for visiting Budapest. on a quiet street with windows facing a courtyard. Located on Pest side of river. the twin bed room was an interesting layout, would like to know more about the buildings history. Bathroom was clean but needed updating. Linen clean and good quality. kitchenette was a bonus but not needed for our two night tourist stay. Baggage store was a bonus.

Just needed an update of furniture and fittings but to sum up ideal for a short stay.

The location of Paulay downtown apartments are brilliant, they are walking distance to lots of points of interest including the Christmas markets as well as having lots of bars, cafes and restaurants a short walk away. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bed linen was lovely, clean and fresh smelling. The actual rooms were quiet, yes you could hear talking form the neighbouring room however nothing that would keep you awake.

We booked an apartment for 4 friends however there were only 3 chairs in our room so we were unable to sit together at the table to eat / have a cup of tea. There was nobody at reception throughout our stay so we were not greeted by anyone on arrival, we weren't able to talk to anyone directly about questions we had including getting another chair for the room so we could all sit at the table together or ask general questions about places of interests and best ways for our return journey to the airport. The bathroom was tired compared to the rest of the apartment and the shower tray leaked into the floor.

The room I stayed in was spacious and warm. There's a kitchenette which is great for breakfast and a quick meal at the accommodation, there's even a dishwasher. The location is incredible, right next to Andrassy Avenue and Deak Ferenc square, where there's metro, tram and bus lines to the whole city, including the airport. I chose the place mainly due to location and it lived up to the expectations in that regard!

we liked how we could easily check in at any time so we don’t have to stress about getting to the accommodation at a certain time. We liked how close and convenient it was. We felt there was everything we needed but could have done with a hair dryer…..

We found hairs on the wall and around the sink when we came in. Other than that it was clean… Again didn’t like how there wasn’t a hairdryer. I feel like this is a must in any accommodation.

Stayed at a fantastic apartment right in the heart of Budapest! It was stylish, super clean, and had everything I needed – from a cozy room to a fully equipped kitchen. The location couldn’t have been better. I was minutes away from iconic sights and amazing cafes. The host was friendly and shared great local tips that made my trip even better. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Budapest – it's a perfect blend of comfort and convenience!

Excellent position of the hotel. We almost did not use the transport, though metro and bus stops are nearby. A quiet and comfortable room with all the necessary facilities. Clean and big enough to stay for several days. Polite staff speaks English.

The apartment is great for what it offers: great location, clean sheets/towels/bathroom (and overall tidiness), ok wifi (we worked from the apartment, and even though it wasn't great signal, it was acceptable), well equipped kitchen. Another plus for us was the easy access to the airport (about 400meters until the bus stop) which at 4 am when you have to leave, is really a big deal. Also, there is a luggage room where you can leave your stuff if you get there too early and the room is not ready yet. Given it's price, I think it's really worth the deal (even though there are a few minuses, you really get your money's worth with what it offers).

Reception is lacking staff. We stayed at the same location for 3 times, and you can't find anybody there (except from the thai massage place which can assist you). You can intersect with staff when it's cleaning time, but you have to stay in the room for that. Also, the kitchen is lacking basic features (like salt, pepper, oil, sugar) which after a few days stay it gets frustrating. This being said, I will always come back here if I have to stay in Budapest.
