Our stay at Paulay Downtown Apartments was wonderful! The host was very responsive and kind, left us a very detailed message regarding check in and any additional information. The hotel itself was easy to find, our room was tidy and well equipped, and had very comfortable beds. The location is incredible, not longer than a 10-15 minute walk to any major attraction. Metro is nearby, and we felt like everything we needed was in that area. All in all we loved our stay and would love to return here!

There were no sockets for chargers or nightstands near the bed, which was inconvenient for us. The shower door didn't fully close so we had a small puddle of water every time we stepped out of the shower, and the air conditioner didn't manage to fully cool the room in this July heat.

Location was great, a few minutes walk to the left and all the shops and restaurants were there. Lots of things to do, beautiful place. Great amenities in my room, toaster, kettle, fridge, microwave, and air conditioning was great.

No smoking area, but I managed. Also my pillow was rock hard, but I used the smaller one and it was fine. Rooms are not soundproof, so get ear plugs! The curtain in the room was see through, I was on the ground floor and I could see staff outside watering the plants! To be honest, my room was fine for me as a solo traveller, I quite liked it. A decent size, enough for my needs and the maid was lovely.

The location was excellent, close to everything such as restaurants, transport, etc. I received clear instructions about the check-in and it was very smooth. The room was on the ground level which was convenient. It was peaceful too. I found that luggage storage facility before check-in if you arrive early and after check-out if you still want to do site seeing very handy.

I would have loved to have bigger cups, bowls and a few more cutlery items such as kitchen scissors. I was also expecting a fresh towel for both nights like the other places I stayed at. The room looks much newer and nicer in the advertisement but it is slightly older.

This was my 3. time in Budapest and at this place, and I absolutly love everything about this place, and I recomend it to everybody I know. The location is so good and near everything, the appartement is so nice and you have everything you need in there.

This time I got a message from the owner about sending a picture of my passport to her by sms, I know that she told me that it was the EU law, sorry but no way I am sending such a personal thing on sms. If you want a copy of my passport you could have been there when I tjeked my self in. 👍

Amazing location in the heart of downtown Budapest. If you take the airport shuttle bus (100E), you're dropped a literal five minute walk away from here, and same to head back towards the airport. Very doable even if you have luggage. There are a lot of nice cafés and restaurants in the area, and you're also walking distance from a lot of historical buildings in Budapest. Our room was very clean and the bathroom was great with a bidet and powerful shower. There's automated check-in with a code to enter the building, which is convenient if you're arriving late. There's also a luggage storage facility.

The check-out is quite early at 10.00. The hotel was kind enough to extend this to 11.00 for us, but when arriving late at night it's still quite an early check-out. You can hear other rooms a bit but it wasn't really an issue for us.

It's in the city center, everything is very close (bars, public transport, monuments) and the price is absolutely correct in that area! The self check-in is very easy. The room is very big and comfortable, there is everything what you need (fridge,tv,air-condition,wardrobe) we slept very well, the street is not noisy! +1 bonus there is also bidet!

The room and bathroom were very clean but we found lot of hairs on the bedsheets. It's not there fault, maybe the cleaning company didn't made the best job on that day - it wasn't big problem at all, just to mention, otherwise everything was perfect, absolutely reccomend it, also next time we will choose this place!

The location is just amazing. We only used the public transportation for going to Buda side. Everything else on the Pest side is just reachable by walk. The apartment is also large and comfortable. I loved the little discount/coupon cards displayed in the lobby, I used one of them at Lisboa cafe near the house.

Everything was great. Maybe putting a bedside table or a chair in the bedrooms to put things on would be better.

Simply fantastic everything. Spotless clean, perfect location at only 5 minutes from the airport shuttle express station, nonstop grocery store at only 5 minutes away and a bunch of restaurants nearby. Confortable bed, enough toilet papers, hot water, clean bath. And also very very good looking rooms. Staff was great, had no in person contact with them, but very helpful via messages.

I liked the easy self check-in (though they should probably mention on the site that you CAN check in outside of normal working hours too, I would imagine it would attract more sales?) and no unnecessary chatter or timewasting from the staff. The rooms are equipped perfectly and although there are some minor imperfections on some of the walls, overall the place is very clean and nicely furnished.

Early checkout (although this is a bit standard with all places), and the fact that they have the ability to check in late but don't advertise it on the page.

Excellant location for visiting Budapest. on a quiet street with windows facing a courtyard. Located on Pest side of river. the twin bed room was an interesting layout, would like to know more about the buildings history. Bathroom was clean but needed updating. Linen clean and good quality. kitchenette was a bonus but not needed for our two night tourist stay. Baggage store was a bonus.

Just needed an update of furniture and fittings but to sum up ideal for a short stay.
