Location

Wasn't too happy with the room allocation but wasn't too big a problem, however when telling the receptionist that our TV had no signal or channels the response was 'well no one else has mentioned it's end of conversation. This was our 2nd stay within a week and the latter stay was disappointing compared to our fist stay unfortunately.

Great location. Hotel was nice.

We booked a shuttle to the airport through reception. This service was advertised throughout the hotel. The driver turned up 25 minutes late. He was scruffy and drove a beat-up small private car. He drove erratically. He said he took credit card, then he had to stop along the way to set up an Apple Pay transaction. He actually tried to do it as he was driving, however we asked him not to as we did not feel safe. It was the worst decision to book this service. There were many taxis driving past the hotel.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Reception was super welcoming and helpful. Small in terms of variety, but good breakfast. (Perfect for a couple of days) Great location, minutes from the underground, walkable to many key attractions.

The coloured lights in the inner yard behind our windows run through the night for no reason - too bright, even curtains didn’t help, u had to use sleep mask. Would be cool if the hotel could switch them off. The shower gel is way too smelly (I mean it, made me nauseous), needs replacement to accommodate for sensitive noses :)

Good breakfast. We had our room upgraded to a suite on arrival. Huge room, very clean with comfy beds and pillows and an excellent shower.Aircon in the room worked very well with easy controls.Very friendly and helpful staff throughout. Excellent location for walking to the Opera, Parliament, Chain Bridge etc. We stayed 3 nights at this lovely hotel for far less than a B&B in the UK. Superb value for money. Definitely recommended and would not hesitate to return.

Maybe a little variation in the breakfast menu, I missed my bacon. Otherwise all good.

Location was perfect, extremely easy to find and the underground is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. They upgraded our room for free, we got a huge, modern bedroom and we were absolutely delighted. Comfy bed, clean room, complimentary gift. We felt amazing there. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices, the staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. The receptionist let us leave our luggages in the hotel for another 3-4 hours after checking out and he got us a taxi in no time when we needed transport to the airport. All for free. Next time we are in Budapest, we'll defo choose 12 Revay, no doubt <3

Good hotel in the very center of the city, near the metro and many attractions. Good and varied breakfast, polite staff.

Relatively small rooms - with two large suitcases in the room we were already cramped. The hotel reception is in the same atrium as the medical center reception in the same building. Next to the hotel entrance is a large garbage can, which was a bit "fragrant" in the summer. This hotel has a fairly early check-out time - at 10:00, so there is no time to sleep in in the morning.

The hotel is in a great location, only a short walk from most attractions. Ideally placed for Chain Bridge and Ruin Bars, etc. Had the only room with a balcony but it's just a shame it was very cold. Had breakfast here one morning and it was good value for £12.50 Plenty of high end shops in the area and bars / restaurants / convenient store only 2 minutes away

The street itself doesn't look great as there's building works going on near by, but 1 minute walk and you're at shops like Gucci, LV, Moncler, etc

Breakfast was delicious. There were eggs, vegetables, coffee, milk - things which we like. The location was great - next to the Basilica. The bed was comfortable. The guy from the staff who checked the rooms at breakfast was extremely polite and smiling. He made a good impression.

The room was very dark. The view was towards the interior of the building and there was no light. We tried to change the room but they said that was not possible. It would have been nice.

What a great hotel for our 3 night stay. Ideally located for access to all areas of the city. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Clean room and public spaces. Extremely impressed as only rated a 3 star.

Originally booked an inner courtyard view but was given an upgrade to a “superior room” on arrival. This unfortunately was in the attic space of the building. These rooms have small high level windows which meant the only view was of roofs opposite and the sky. As we only used the room as a base it didn’t spoil our visit. A courtyard room on a lower level would have been adequate.

The location is the best part of this hotel, it is in the heart of the city. It is close to everything. It is not cheap, but considering the location, prices in Budapest and the fact that it has breakfast included, it is alright.

A downside is that it doesn't have private parking, and finding a spot on the street can be challenging, but manageable. Another thing is the checkout time, 10 AM is a bit early, usually in other places you get until 11, also breakfast on weekends is until 10.30, but you can't really enjoy it unless you checkout first.
