Everything was great - room, breakfast, staff, pool, location. The fact that it was “adult only” meant there was no noise from children running down corridors or causing havoc in the pool. It was super quiet & totally relaxing after the big days of city exploring. There were 2 metro stops within a short walk - a blue metro & the yellow metro (which took us right to the Szechenyi baths). The breakfast is insane - so much choice & completely different every day of our 5 day stay. The staff were super helpful & friendly - special shout out to Gabor & Regina. They also provide separate pool towels & even slippers. Plentiful toiletries which were replenished whenever we used them. There is even a “pillow menu” - you get to choose what kind of pillow you would prefer after your 1st night. Absolutely brilliant hotel.

Very small problem with the water from shower leaking out into the toilet area. It was fixed a bit but continued to be a problem which we didn’t really mind - used towel to mop it up. It was reported so hopefully fixed for next guests.

Decent location in the citycenter, modern, stylish athmosphere, close to the main christmas markets and local restaurants. Room was nicely decorated, with large space and comfortable beds and bathroom. Staff are extremely polite and professional at the front desk. Helpful and friendly service in every spot. Breakfast is continental, includes everything what we wanted to eat. Additionaly, the coffee and hot chocolate machines are great touch!:)

It is just a missing detail .We would like to listen chill out music at the pool. Spa music or similar. There is a cosy corner next to the breakfast corridor with sofas.It would be lovely to listen christmas music at this time.:)

Hotel Cortile offers an excellent location in the heart of Budapest. Just 300 meters from both the metro station and the Opera House, it's perfect for exploring the city. The WestEnd shopping mall is also conveniently close, only one metro stop away. What really stood out was the hotel's prime position for both cultural attractions and practical amenities. Whether you're interested in sightseeing or shopping, everything is within easy reach. The staff were notably friendly, which always makes a stay more pleasant. Their welcoming attitude contributed positively to the overall experience.

If I had to mention one tiny detail for improvement, it would be that the shoe cleaning machine in the lobby was out of cream. However, this is such a minor point that it hardly affected my stay at all.

Perfectly positioned and the staff are faultless! The room was very spacious, the pillows bed so comfortable and the room was beautifully clean! There is nothing really negative I can say about the Cortile, only positive! All the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and approachable, breakfast really nice and the coffee machine and pastries a lovely touch and well needed after trekking around the city! I would recommend the Cortile to anyone without hesitation.

It’s really not a dislike as it’s one of the best City hotels we’ve stayed in but never mastered the temperature controls- had to sleep with the windows open but it wasn’t noisy so not a problem!

What a beautiful hotel. Honestly couldn’t do enough for you. You can choose which pillow you wish, just ask reception. Bed was comfortable. Room was very spacious. Loved the layout. First night there was some noise , going on till 3am. I spoke to the general Manager and he said it must have been the residents across and couldn’t do anything about it. It was fine after the 1st night. Breakfast has loads of choice. I just reheated a few poached eggs , which I must say were lovely and presented nice with rocket and balsamic vinegar. Reception gave lots of information and so helpful. The pool, we used once. Loved the bubble bed. It was lovely and warm in the pool area when it was so cold outside. I would definitely stay here again. I would highly recommend anyone staying here.

We ABSOLUTELY loved our stay at the Cortile. The breakfast was great, the rooftop top was amazing. BUT IT WAS THE STAFF THAT MADE OUR STAY AMAZING. They were so friendly and helpful and professional. It was a breath of fresh air. They even helped us after we'd left and we were trying to catch a train! The check in was especially joyful. Thank you to the staff for making our stay in Budapest so lovely. And the no kids policy is fantastic!!

The air con wasn't working and while the rooms were lovely and cool (outside was 35 celcius!) there air circulation was bad so the towels were damp but that was such a small thing and will get fixed. There were always fresh towels!

From the moment that we arrived until checkout we had a fabulous experience staying at the Cortile Hotel. The staff without exception, were friendly, efficient and very helpful, I cannot praise them enough. The hotel is in a perfect location within easy walking distance from most of the main attractions and there are plenty of restaurants and bars close by. The excellent reception team made several great recommendations about places to eat or visit and made reservations for us. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast, which is included in the room rate, was wonderful, plenty of hot and cold food and lots of variety, we loved trying the Hungarian options which changed every day. The staff worked very hard making sure everything was topped up and fresh. An added bonus is the lovely roof top pool and bar which is a great place to relax and enjoy the city view. All in all a fabulous experience.

Nothing, everything ws perfect

Our stay at the hotel was absolutely fantastic. From the warm welcome by Gregory at the reception. Even the attentive and unbeatable attention from the room attendants Regina and Karina. Our stay was absolutely tremendous. The room was immaculately clean, spacious, quiet and full of details. The breakfasts were fabulous with a wide variety of proposals that changed daily. One of the best hotels where we have stayed. To the entire team at the Cortile hotel, our most sincere congratulations for offering such a close and attentive experience to the customer.

Perhaps we would have liked the pool hours to be longer.

Cortile was an AMAZING place to stay and made our visit to Budapest fantastic! From the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, warm welcome we received at check-in, comfy beds and clean facilities, gorgeous sky bar and rooftop pool with a view (especially gorgeous at sunset), to the delicious breakfast included and the fantastic location (very walkable), staying at this hotel was a superb experience! And it was so affordable! The staff were truly great and would give us restaurant recommendations and how to get around. 10/10 would recommend. Also, great AC compared to other European countries we travelled to. Overall, we certainly enjoyed our stay here.

Rooms cleaned everyday and coffee machine pods always topped up. Lovely soft bedding and a choice of pillows ! Very powerful showers Lots of choice at breakfast from hot or cold, free sparkling wine if you want at breakfast! Fresh hot drinks down in reception all day if you wish. Beautiful location Super close to the city centre. 20 mins walk to the spa, 30 minutes walk to buda castle funicular. Lots of restaurants around. Beware a meal for two for a main and two drinks is on average £25 per person, lots of takeaway places if you don’t want to eat in and are on a budget ! We booked this hotel break through booking.com and had no problems and lots of contact from the hotel asking if we needing directions or any extras for the room. They are even happy to book taxi to and from the airport for you. We used the E100 which was around £5 per person and runs every 10 minutes from 0430 to 2300 (I think). We got off at the final stop and it’s about 15 minutes walk to the hotel (google maps helped!) Hope this helps and we would definitely book this hotel again.
