the location, the breakfast, the staff. one weird request they had that every time you went out you had to leave your room keys at the reception.

we had room 106 - the smell of fhe room, the bathroom smelled like chlorine amd the room smelled like kebab from the store underneat it, the windows where old kind made of wood and the smell got trough them as they were not properly sealed.. you could not open the window for fresh air as it was only kebab smelling air. You vould also hear the tram otside every time it passed. other than that it was really good valuea for the money we payd. i would come back.

I had a very pleasant stay at City Hotel Ring in Budapest - I'd rate it a solid 9 out of 10. The staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere throughout my stay. The location is excellent, just a short walk from a metro station, which made getting around the city super easy. The breakfast was quite good, with a nice variety of options. However, it only starts at 7:30 AM, which might be a downside for those with early flights, as there may not be enough time to eat before heading to the airport. Overall, a great hotel with good service and a convenient location. I'd happily stay here again.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, especially the lady who speaks Serbian, which made our stay even more enjoyable. :) Our room was always clean and tidy. The housekeeping team ensured we had fresh coffee and clean bathroom mats every day, which was such a thoughtful touch. The room was also very well-heated, which made a big difference since it was winter and temperatures were around 0°C outside. The breakfast staff was equally welcoming, making us feel right at home every morning. Breakfast itself was simple but satisfying, offering enough variety to start the day full and energized. The location is excellent and it is close to all major attractions and easily accessible by bus or metro.

The only downside was that the light in the hallway in front of our room wasn’t working, but this didn’t affect our overall experience too much.

The hotel is in the center ...very close to the train station and located in a main street...very nice clean hotel, walking distance to most of the highlights of the Budapest...you can walk to Buda part of the city on food...breakfast was good, rooms were big and very clean, it was comfortable to stay at this hotel..front door people were very helpful,kind and ready to answer your questions and needs...we can stay there again and recommend it to our friends.

The hotel has no lift so going up with your suitcases, or just going up would be tiring for people who has knee or health issues, or for old people....I just questioned the checkout time, which was 10 am....we were allowed to check in at 3pm, and asked to check out at 10 am, it was too early..wasn't it at 12 noon before in every hotels and check in was at 2pm.....when you calculate you feel you pay half day price for nothing...other than this all was good at the hotel..

Everything was really great, location is superb, you are at 15 minutes easy walking distance to majority of tourist sights. In the city centre, but again there is no traffic noise in the appartment. 2 minutes walk from metro station. Everybody was really really polite and friendly, informative, communicative. Breakfast is good also. Comfort is really great, rooms are spacious and having newer furniture and a lot of space to leave your stuff. I would also like to praise Aleksandra and Elizabet working on the front desk (I think that is the name, sorry if written wrong) with attention to details and who made our stay one of the best and most pleasent so far! We will definitely return here once we are back in Budapest!

Unpretentious hotel in former 19th / beginning 20th century office building. From outside doesn't look much, inside it is up to par with en courant expectations. Available pictures show room honestly / correctly. Top USP: close to Nyugati PU / Western Main Trainstation & Metro, beside that the refurbished Skala & Westend Shopping Center, fulfilling all needs. Few minutes walk to Danube / City Center, lots of small shopper amenities in short walking distance. Room was good, breakfast okay, staff was nice. Very good for business / solo / small group travelers, though no free parking space in vicinity. With pleasure again.

The women working in the reception are all really fantastic! I've never felt so at home in a hotel before. They we're really doing everything to make the guests feel good, giving advice, helping out, and offering to leave luggage after check-out. A perfect place for a solo traveler, since you really feel that you have people looking after you. I'd definitely consider staying here more times. I'd however like to book a bigger room then...

The room was really very small, and the light could be better, especially in the bathroom. I needed to be able to sit by the desk to work, but the room was to small for that. (But somehow the lovely receptionists made up for it, by being extremely nice, so in the end I didn't see it as a problem anymore. :-D )

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is great - just a short walk away from most of main attractions. Plus, with a metro, bus, and tram station nearby, getting around the city was really easy. There is a lot of dining options surrounding the hotel, from delicious street food to charming restaurants. And let's not forget about breakfast (we had it included), which was tasty and set us up perfectly for a day of exploring. The staff were very kind and always ready to help. Hotel and room were clean and comfortable and our impression is that this hotel offers great value for price. For those traveling by car - we found affordable parking nearby at Westend outdoor parking (approximately 15 min walk from the hotel). Overall, our experience was good and we had a great time here.

The staff is super friendly, the room was spacious, a very comfy bed, clean. The location is the best, just some steps from the central station and from city center. For the price, it was just that we expected, in a very good way. Looking forward to stay here on our next visit.

Just some points of improvement , there is no elevator - for us was not a problem- maybe with heavy luggage can be. The space of the bathroom is very adequate but the space of the shower a bit reduced.

Great Location: near the river, city centre, metro and train station. The Bed is large, clean and comfortable. A large wardrobe is in the room for clothes and shoes, as well as a big desk and a fridge to store personal drinks or food. The Staff is always very professional and polite.

The shower panel in our bathroom was unsteady and the shower curtain dirty. Breakfast could have more variety. Sometimes the reception is busy and people have to wait just to have their room's key handed back
