Location, good value for the money, good breakfast, beautiful small garden with koi pond and turtles. Convenient beds. Old, but clean

We had some room issues, but the receptionist solved them in a while. You don't need to wait for some luxurious food or modern design here. The hotel is old but clean. It's a perfect place to leave you luggage, sleep, take a shower, and have breakfast. That's all.

I have been coming to the hotel for several years and I am satisfied. This time I was with my friends and we liked the hotel - it is a pleasant small hotel with good access to the city. The staff is very nice, friendly and accommodating. My English is not good, but it was obvious that the people at the reception (especially Zoárd and Estella?) really tried to communicate to my satisfaction. Later, I witnessed that they responded patiently and calmly even to one rude customer. The rooms are pleasant, but I remember the time when the hotel was almost new, since then maybe some bathrooms would need a little refresh (eg towel rings and the like). All in all, I and my friends, who - unlike me - were there for the first time, enjoyed their stay at the hotel. I think we will continue to use the hotel during our stays in Budapest.

The people were very friendly and helpful. When checking in, I felt welcome - even though I only booked 15 minutes before that (travel agency didn’t book a room for my organized trip, so had to find another room quickly). The hotel isn’t the most expensive one, but its definitely worth the money! Happy with the mini fridge in the room and the 24/7 supermarket around the corner!

Breakfast wasn’t too good. For 15€ you can’t expect too much luxury, but the choice was limited and the quality ‘so-so’. Lighting in the room was very bright - no ‘decorative lighting’ but a bright white light in the middle of the room. Evening showers aren’t hot, morning showers are way better :-)

Great location, bus stop in 2-3 minutes walk from the hotel, metro station in 5 minutes walk. Also, there were many markets close to the hotel working late, if you needed anything. Very clean, we got room cleaning every day. The breakfast buffet offered many options to choose from, all freshly made and with good taste. All in all a great hospitality from the staff, fascilitated our check in and check out. Personaly, would stay again in this hotel.

Some times after returning to the hotel, our room card key didn't work and had to go back down to the reception to solve the issue. That was a bit annoying, since you are all tired when you return to the hotel after a day of doing touristy things and you want to get in your room as soon as possible to rest. Other than this, everything else was okay.

It's a budget hotel, but the quality of service far exceeds expectations. Special thanks to all the staff, especially the front desk – they met every request and resolved every issue to ensure our stay was a success. We also thank the housekeeping staff for cleaning our rooms daily. It's worth mentioning the excellent breakfasts; everyone will find something to enjoy. Budget rooms needs renovation

The hotel is centrally located with great access to public transportation. It was clean, and the price was reasonable. The bathroom was big and comfortable to use. Our room, 201, was equipped with a microwave, a fridge, an electric kettle, and some dishes, which made our stay more convenient. The breakfast offered a variety of options for vegetarians. On our last day, due to an early departure, we received a breakfast package. The reception staff were incredibly kind and made me feel at home rather than in a hotel. I highly recommend it!

The bathroom door handle, door hanger, and shower dispenser need some repairs.

Hotel location, room cleanliness, staff - all was mostly great and awesome.

Room 501 on the last 5th floor that we had is right next to the main generator room for the building which makes sound and vibrations 24/7, is very hard to sleep and get used to, so pray that you dont get situated there... Also, there are also only 14 tables in the breakfast room/hall and almost 40 rooms in the entire hotel, and at least twice we had to wait for 15 minutes to be able to have a seat and eat. Also, some staff when cleaning the plates from prior users are not really that active, sometimes we were missing clean table, or clean fork/knife or glass, and had to remind them in kitchen to put them out.

When we first arrived we'd had a very long day and Rita(the receptionist) was lovely with her calming and helpful manner. We ended up taking a nice drink in the hotel bar, which is open 24/7 by the way, and even the first minutes in there were lovely. She also helped us with her recommendations about the city. David(the other receptionist) was also very nice and helpful when we asked about the transportation, etc. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was pretty good. The location was not exactly in the center(at least the places we visited) but you can reach places fast enough.

Relaxed atmosphere

All the staff is managing this hotel professionally with passion; rooms are very clean and warm in winter, breakfast is complete and always available. This hotel has an excellent location with great logistic and easy access to public transportation. Reception is open for late night arrivals and receptionists, starting from Zsaklin were genuinly ready to support us as turist. Excellent value for the money, would really recommend!
