The hotel itself was ideally located and easy to get to. Although the reception desk is not open 24 hours there was always someone on the end of the buzzer out of hours should you have any problems. The room had what we needed and was clean and tidy. Staff were in general quite friendly.

The room itself was quite small and compact, which was fine for us, but might be too small for those with more luggage. The room was also close to reception and although generally noise was kept to a minimum, we did get woken up from time to time with people wheeling cases back and forth (and we were also right next to the cleaning cupboard). The room was generally quite warm, even though it was cold outside. It does have air con but sometimes you just want to open a window, which we couldn't really do due to the location of the room. More helpful options for breakfast locations would have been nice too.

Everything (location is amazing) 3 min walk to metro station 20min to city park or Newyork cafe Coffee& bakery shop at doorstep while a hyper market is 3 buildings away with logic price Kids area infront the hyper market was a bonus We arrived at night & we been asked to make self check-in online. However, everything was ready without need any human being to serve and amazing e-mail communication with all info required as part of self-service experience

Couple bottle of water and having tea or coffee will be a good hospitality from hotel side

Small, quite hotel perfect for family trip to Budapest. Very clean rooms with comfortable beds. A small kitchen area with a fridge and a place to sit for breakfast or so. Supermarket and bakeries few steps away. Metro station and bus station also very close. The city park is walking distance away with loads of things to do with kids. For people coming with a car, the street parking is free in the area on weekends which was very convenient.

Centrally located, very easy access to metro. Small room but had all that was necessary. Friendly and helpful staff. There is no breakfast but there are coffee shops and a supermarket very near by. Safe large enough to store a laptop.

Room was rather small - the small table was taken up by the TV, it was hard to find space to work on my laptop. Pillow was lumpy. Overall the room was clean but the drawers below the bed were not. There is limited luggage storage, although the staff try to provide alternative solutions.

The hotel is near the metro which is accessible to all the main tourist attraction.there are loads of cafes and restaurant around and LidL store is just around the corner.Sophie in the reception are very nice and welcoming plus she speak a fluent English which she helped me how to get into some of the tourist spot in Budapest.would definitely stay at this hotel again if ever I will be going back to Budapest

Nothing I can pinpoint at the minute but just a quick suggestion..if its possible to have a bottled water in the room as to welcome the guest..

We stayed at this wonderful hotel in Budapest and had an exceptional experience! The junior suite was not very spacious, but it was well-equipped with a range of amenities that made our stay extra comfortable. The beds were incredibly comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep after a day of exploring the city. The suite included a charming small bathtub, adding a touch of luxury to our stay. For added convenience, the suite featured a kitchenette equipped with a water boiler, pots, dishes, and a sink—ideal for preparing light meals or snacks. These facilities were particularly helpful since we could manage our meals on our own time and preferences. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. Just down the road, you can find a Lidl for any essentials, alongside a charming cafe to enjoy a leisurely breakfast or a coffee. Additionally, the proximity to a metro station made exploring Budapest a breeze, and the nearby parking was not only convenient but reasonably priced. Travelling as a group of four women, safety was a priority for us, and this hotel did not disappoint. The presence of an intercom at the door and cameras in the hallways provided a great sense of security. We found the neighborhood to be quite peaceful and safe, adding to our overall comfort. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They allowed us to check into our suite at 8 AM, which was much appreciated after our travels and much earlier than the usual 2-3 PM check-in time. Every day, we returned to a freshly cleaned room, which was kept tidy throughout our stay. The value for money was excellent, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, our experience at this hotel was amazing, and it contributed greatly to our wonderful trip to Budapest. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a secure, well-located, and friendly place to stay!

There were a couple of small things to note for future travelers: there wasn't a nightstand on one side of the bed in our suite, and the hotel did not offer breakfast. These weren't major inconveniences for us, but worth mentioning for others to know before booking.

The location is great that you can get to Bus, tram and metro stations by just a few mins walk, make sure to get a transportation card / Budapest Card with you then you are fine to go anywhere. There are good cafes around that you can easily get breakfast. The room is quiet and the staff are nice.

The room seems not cleaned up properly. Found some opened bottles (and one without a lid) in the fridge the day when I arrived, and there are some mould on the shower head and guess that makes the smell of the bathroom not very nice. The design of the sink causes water spilling out sometimes but the water on the floor was there for 3 days during my stay even the room is cleaned up everyday.

First of all, I want to mention, the staff provided me an upgraded room, though I’d booked a single room 🧡 Location (Lidl supermarket just a minute walk; metro station - 3 minutes); facilities - all on a high level. And I would also like to say a huge thanks to checkin counter lady Dea who was so nice, helpful and warm-hearted. If I come back to Budapest, I’ll no doubt book Res City hotel again. 💛

Perfect location and a very nice room! It’s fully equipped, with an air conditioner and plenty of space. The staff is absolutely amazing — I had to arrive at 2 a.m., and they provided very clear and detailed self check-in instructions. There are lockers available for storing luggage, and the attitude of the staff was outstanding: super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

It was a clean and quiet hotel. The staff were friendly and always said ‘hello’ when passing you in the hallway. The air conditioning was also great and much needed during the hot summer month of July.

The room was a bit smaller than expected, but it didn’t bother me that much.
