Kind reception staff. Good accessibility to the means of transport for the city. Large but expensive parking lot (20Eu) Large rooms but equipped with the basics.

Mini bar with few products. Agglomeration at breakfast. Average quality of breakfast. People from outside the hotel have access to the pool. The jacuzzi is always full. At the bar, although we had free soft drinks, we were asked to pay for them, one evening. Inadequate quality/price ratio. Noise due to some parties until 2 am, during the second night. No one took a stand.

The hotel is spacious, room was nice and clean. There were bottle of water as a welcoming drink as well as coffee and tea. There are standard toiletries in the bathroom. Parking is nice and safe, there are trees so even during the hot summer days, car is in shadow. Price for two nights was 15€, which was a really good deal. There are three pools, kids pool has a warm water, bug one is a little bit colder but you get used to it if you swim. There are separated men and women saunas, which was awesome. Breakfast also various choises, I was happy. All hotel stuff are really friendly and speak english.

Rooms are a bit old, seems like the hotel could use renovation. Check in seems to be really slow, I came around 15:40 (15 is check in time) and after 40 minutes of waiting in the line I came to my room, which after a really long trip can be frustrating. Also, I think that temperature cannot be set inside the room, in mine was 22, and I wanted to set it on 24, but it wasn't possible.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, even the newbies in the crew who were a bit confused at times. The sheer size of the hotel is impressive, as well as it's specter of amenities including its own park, a good spa, and lots of parking options. One of the best locations for staying while attending Sziget festival.

The inside of the rooms could really use a facelift, since current look is both outdated and - even more important - pretty much worn down. Wheelchair users should double check if the rooms for disabled people are suitable for their needs, since these rooms are only partially adapted.

The room was spacious and the beds were so so comfy. I like how after each cleaning the room smelled so good and was very clean. The spa/wellness is so nice and it was a good way to relax within the property. The staff is very nice and helpful.

The only thing we thought could improve is the temperature of the hot meals in the breakfast buffet. Most of them were lukewarm, which was a bit sad but the food still tasted good. I do have to point out that a lot of times, other guest’s simply don’t care to close the lids back on, to keep the food warm.. so it is not entirely a hotel issue.

The Verdi Budapest Aquincum hotel service staff is very friendly and helpful and always in a nice mode. I would like to thank for great hospitality all team of Verdi hotel. We enjoyed in the swimming pool (27°C) and a 33°C and 38°C set of baths, a Finnish sauna and jacuzzi. This area was open from 6 in the morning till 22 in the evening. So you can after trip in the city have a nice relax before sleeping. The beds are very comfortable. The Hotel Verdi Budapest Aquincum has a unique location It is only 20 minutes from Nepliget bus station to Szentlélek tér by tram 1. If you want to take a walk in nature, you can cross the Árpád híd bridge and explore the Margerit Iland. The Obuda is the oldest part of the city dating back to Roman times and has many unique museums, for example with Imere Varge brilliant sculptures and so on. The rooms needs for some refreshment and renovations for improvement. But basically it was a great stay!!!

This big hotel has a four star look and feel with a large shiny lobby with bar and restaurant, but the rooms are a bit outdated. Breakfast is absolutely fine. Most important: the thermal pool totally makes up for the outdated rooms, there’s a 15m pool at 27 degrees, then two smaller pools at 33 and 38 degrees - included in the room rate, and open from 7 AM to 10 PM. Bathrobes and slippers provided in your room, towels for free at the spa bar. It’s a 5 minute walk to the nearest tram station - take the A1 tram for two stops, then the metro line 3 takes you anywhere in Budapest. Visit Terror Haza or the Franz Liszt house. Tickets for the opera are not expensive. For authentic Hungarian food you dont need to go far - a good restaurant is 5 minutes walk away: Kéhli Vendéglő, live music, always crowded so better reserve a table.

the rooms are outdated, some things are loose or broken, and it smells a little musty.

Our room was very clean, spacious, pleasant and quiet. It overlooked the green area behind the hotel, had a lot of natural light, and great light blocking curtains for the good night's sleep. I loved the fact that the window could be properly opened because I like fresh air. All the people working at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Pools are nice and clean. Try the warmest one. ;) The public transportation bus station and metro station are really nearby.

Glass shower screen is too short so you cannot relax while showering if you do not want to have water outside the shower.

A great spa hotel with fantastic swimming pools and saunas. The rooms are quite large and comfortable, the breakfast - great, with a variety of local and international dishes. The location is fine - you need to take a taxi (about 10-15 minutes to all important places) or public transport to the center but the surroundings are quiet. Some nice historical touches (Roman reliefs by the main entrance), a classicist synagogue and some historical buildings in the neighbourhood. The staff was very nice, particularly the breakfast team.

The pools are a bit smaller in reality than in the pictures, but still - with three pools, a whirlpool and 2 saunas there is plenty of space. Some problems with communication among the staff - we asked for late checkout, the email about it was never sent by the receptionist, information didn't circulate, we had to start over the next day, it took us 3 trips to the reception to find out what we already knew from the start: that late checkout costs 25 euros. It would have been a 10 if it wasn't for that last negative impression, unfortunately.

I enjoyed the pools. Sauna. Steaming room and massage. My 9 year old daughter loves swimming,, so she spent a lot of time switching from one pool to the next. Breakfast was nice - loved the 🥞.

Most of the people were very serious looking with no smile or warmth on their faces when attending to us, but not all of them as some were nice. I was disappointed that the person who booked the massage messed up the time, day and the duration in which I was made to pay again but their was no courtesy discount to compensate the inconvenience rather the double transaction means I ended up paying nearly £10 more than the 1 hour massage that I had booked originally. The massage was good though!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we both slept very well each night. The staff were all exceptionally kind and helpful, always with a smile. Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety to choose from. The gym is impressively well-equipped, and the wellness area was absolutely fantastic. We especially loved the sauna – it was truly relaxing and a highlight of our stay. There was just one small thing that left us a bit puzzled during check-out. My husband mentioned he had asked for a bottle of water in the spa and wanted to pay for it. The receptionist explained that water is usually free, but since he had asked for it in the spa, he had to pay for it. That’s absolutely fine – we completely understand – we were just unsure why it was mentioned as “usually free” if there was a charge anyway. A minor thing, but it left us slightly confused. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely return!
