Receptionist was very good helpful explained all at checking in. Waitresses was good just at a last day during dinner time in restaurant 3 people collected dishes and laughed and talked very loudly..Not respecting customers who eating in restaurant. Bed mattress was very hard. Used extra blankets and folded duvet because can sleep only at a more softer mattress. And pillows was very lumpy. Need to change ASAP. HK team was great. Thankyou.

My favorite hotel for city-breaks in Budapest. Fabulous breakfast and services, a very good restaurant with fair prices.

Personally I don't have complaints. It's an old-school quiet hotel, in a quiet place, with traditional/conservative furniture and traditional food/services. It's a good wifi, but don't expect to find here the last gadgets or plug sockets for the mobile phones, music or party-services. Is ideal for families or sportives and people who appreciate the hospitality in the classical meaning.

I have never seen a hotel bathroom as clean as this one. The bed was comfortable. The staff were exceptionable, even booking a meal for myself at the local restaurant. (Paprika, which served real Hungarian food in huge quanties at very decent prices) The hotel is in a quiet location. The location was also in a great area, full of lovely monuments and museums. There was an outdoor ice rink nearby and one of the most famous thermal baths. Opposite the baths is a classic circus, which was excellent value for 2 hrs of cracking entertainment. The Metro is nearby and is about 6 stops to the centre of Budapest and can be reached for 450 hun fl (single) or you can buy a 72 hr pass, which is very cheap. The express to the airport is 2200 Huf fl (year 2025 prices) which is available from a short metro ride away. (photos attached are of the Hotel, the local restaurant Paprika (ask at the front desk), the ice rink, the local thermal baths and the circus) For the baths and circus, buy direct from the venues, much cheaper than secondary websites.

The breakfast was limited for me. But I am used to english breakfasts and for contintental europeans it may be fine. Nothing wrong with the food. More of a personal taste. It would not stop me staying here again. Overall the hotel was great value.

The location is good, old fashioned hotel. The staff at the reception was nice and helpful. The size of the room is good, the bathroom is large. The price was cheap for the quality of the accommodation and the location. Fast wifi.

The breakfast was not the highest quality, the pastries were at least a day old, the quality of the sliced meat could be improved. The drinks were bad, tasted artificial. The staff in the breakfast room should not be in the hospitality business. They looked unhappy, ignored the guests, chatting with each other. Ibis hotels have much better breakfast. But note: the price of the room was so good I would have reserved it even without breakfast.

We were visiting Budapest with a 4 year old and our program was adjusted to him. Therefore we took this location for the hotel, which was jusr right for us. Beautiful area close to the Varosliget park (with Zoo and incredible playgrounds). Anyway, there was a playground just next to the hotels parking place. Parking is for 13 eur/day, but we were allowed to park there longer after our check-out. The personel were really nice, there is bar at the hotel, where you can get some drinks. The breafast was really good with a big variaty of food. We would definitelly go back here!

Everything was good for the price, almost perfect. Great room and breakfast, friendly staff with simple and quick check-in and check-out, hotel was silent (important for me), cleanliness was great, spacious room, room temperature was good, value for money at a peak season, also decent location.

No slipppers provided. We could request toothbrush and toothpaste additionally from the staff but it would be better if it was already in the room. Also the room was a bit chilled in the night, could be a bit more warm, but not a big deal. Also it would be nice to have separate hand soap, shower gel and shampoo rather than a single soap type for all. Finally, the snack section in minibar could be improved.

Location excellent for several attractions/ must sees.-and within easy public access to many more of budapest's " must sees"- although I wasn't aware of this at the time of booking. Easily found by car( and probably also by public transport from the airport/keleti rail station. ) Off a side street from the main thoroughfare to Hero's Square and City Park-plus the other attractions ( museums/zoo/ thermal baths etc ( all within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel itself had friendly/welcoming reception staff, clean rooms , adequate breakfast and restaurant facilities. Clean, spacious room and bathroom ( superior double I think? Bed , mattress, pillows and sheets spotlessly clean and very comfortable

Inability to buy a public transport system voucher at the hotel.- I'd been at a funin another city in Hungary and a family member had taken me to the hotel, so didn't need public transport from the airport or from Miskolc. The hotel suggested only mainline stations such as Keleti- but I would have preferred a bus/metro option

Quiet neighborhood. Good breakfast serving hot and cold items. Close to transportation. 5 min walk to Metro then 10 min to the center of town. Just minutes away from the City Park with a zoo, circus, botanical garden, museums, Szechenyi Thermal Baths and Pools... AC in the room as well as a refrigerator. Clean establishment with courteous staff.

Nothing to mention here....would totally recommend

The hotel itself was nice and also the staff. The location of the hotel is on quiet street and about between 2 underground stations. One is "Bajza utca" and the other is "Hosok tere" and it is about 400 meters to either of the stations. There is also small local grocery shop called ABC which is about 80 meters. The room was spacious with a little balcony and also with mini fridge. For breakfast there was plenty to choose from including hot, cold and also fruits. Nice suprise in the room was a spare pillow which was less filled so it was flatter and more comfortable to sleep on for me personally. So I recommend this hotel.

The only thing I did not like was the curtains in the room. They were dark red but quite thin and the sun in summer comes up very early in the morning and having the room window facing toward the east side it shined through quiet a lot. So I recommend the hotel changing the curtains for heavy fabric which would keep the room dark.

The room was spacious and very clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very warm. The hotel was quiet and nice and the breakfast was very good. A lot of different options to choose from. The staff were very accomodating and helped us with the parking. The hotel is very close to the metro station. We liked it very much and plan to stay here again when we return to Budapest. I think the hotel was good value for money

The pillows could be changed seeing as they were a tad unsupportive, probably from the extended use
