Firstly don't let the exterior photos put you off I was very apprehensive before I went, Metro takes you into the centre and other tourists attractions, the metro is five to sevens minutes walk then regular bus trolley 🚎 buses takes to West End shopping Centre and to stop near parliament buildings and not far from the river also about 10 minutes from tram stops. The Breakfast was filling unlimited, staff we wonderful help us out as much as they could. Try too look at past the decor rooms are good size and some are spacious. The bed is comfortable and rooms are cleaned daily, the rooms have ensuites and fridge The airport is just about an hour away with Metro and bus 100E 2200ft per person The 72 Hr pass is not valid on this route they run every 10 minutes to the airport

Firstly the walls are thin not much sound proofing, No Tea or coffee or kettle to heat the water to make a cuppa or any Teas or Coffees in the room. wi-fi was poor on the upper floors but very good downstairs

The hotel staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The location was superb. These points added together with very easy directions from. The airport to the hotel, they did offer to book a taxi too!

The hotel is as clean as expected. The breakfast was a small but tasty spread, the coffee was not to my liking, (a very dark roast I think) and the tea selection was not for the British traveler. I am sure had I have said anything this could have been sorted but I felt so welcome by the staff I did not want to take advantage.

The hotel is in a neighborhood near several embassies, about four blocks from the museum and former home of Franz Liszt, about ten minutes of walking from the business-oriented Oktogon neighborhood, and a little further to the historic Opera House or (in the other direction) the city park (featuring the Transylvanian castle, the zoo and the circus). The Keleti train station (Budapest's main one) can be walked to in about twenty minutes. Tram and subway transit in this city is frequent, extensive and cheap, so access to the former royal castle, the walking hills, the shopping districts, Parliament, bridges over the Danube, historic market, and more, are easy from the location.

The location is pretty central

The cleaning service is not the best. We stayed for 4 days and they just bring new towels in the last day. According the receptionist "if we wanna new towels we should had left the used ones on the floor, if we don't they don't change". This information was not provided at the check-in so if we didn't asked they will never change the towels. Additionally they just provide one towel per person that makes the process a bit harder for a basic hygiene.

Very helpful staff. I was offered a complimentary bottle of water on arival on one of the hottest days of the year. The room looked out onto a pleasant, shaded courtyard. Buffet breakfast was included in the price. The location was convenient for my trip - I was arriving in Budapest at one rail terminal and leaving by another, with this hotel roughly halfway between the two.

The air-conditioning could have been more effective, though in fairness, it was a very hot couple of days, apparently the hottest of the year so far.

The location was great . It was very QUIET so that was a big plus . The reception staff where fantastic and accommodating in my requests . YES there is 24/7 reception service. The breakfast although it was held at the basement the choices where adequate and the service was nice. The breakfast included - scrambled eggs, sausage, cornflakes , fresh bread 🍞 which you could make toast . cheese , ham , salami , mortadella marmalades. for drinks juices and coffee . Well done for the choices . I would sure visit this hotel again .

Everything was great . However just like the rest of the comments the cleaning needs a little more attention . Personally it didn’t bother me , it was adequate . Please don’t expect 4-seasons style room service . Lets be realistic on the expectations.

Beautifully heated room, nice furnishings, romantic wallpaper, fragrant duvets, amazing internet connection, delicious breakfast

The old lady at the reception is too curious (let the guests ask only what is necessary, not intrusive questions).

They organised the transfer to collect us, the check in was very fast, we liked the room - it was big, had a mini fridge, was warm and very clean. The breakfast was very good they had eggs, sausages, bread, coffee machine, cereal etc. very convenient for the price. Nearby supermarkets and very close to underground

- close to metro and bus stations - very close to the centre (Andrassy Utca, Oktogon) - clean bathroom with hot water - 24 h reception, so easy to check in even at night - good breakfast - good price vs. quality - friendly staff

- very small room - only one towel in the bathroom (I didn't need another one, but it would have been nice to have one small and one large towel) - very old TV - lack of intimacy: the window was facing an inner court and i felt that people can pass right next to my window, so I had to stay with curtains

I liked the room, it was spacious. Breakfast was healthy and sufficient to provide necessary energy needed for the tourist's day. A hundred meters away was the junction to Andrassy Ut so it was central.

When I checked in, there was a grumpy bad-tempered old woman at the reception, she was unpleasant and off-putting. Unfortunately I did not get her name, and fortunately I never saw her again in the 5 days I was at the hotel. The other staff were really nice and helpful, reception staff were pleasant and cooperative.
