The hotel is placed in a very good location close to the heroes square and various transport links. It is only a 30mins walk from the parliament building , St Stephen's basilica and 5minutes from heroes square so it is very central to all the main attractions. The hotel was very clean, the staff very helpful and the buffet food was excellent in the morning. The room was spacious and always very clean, the bed comfortable and our favourite was the balcony that has a chairs and a table where you can sit and relax at the start/end of the day. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who is considering visiting Budapest as our overall experience was very positive.

The only thing that can be improved would be topping up the coffee machine station in the room every day. It did not bother us as we bought our own but I think it would help considering doing that for other guests in the future.

Very comfortable room and bathroom. Really good choice at breakfast, although some of the hot buffet items were lukewarm (eggs, baked beans). Good to have a coffee machine, but see my other comment. In a nice quite location with transport links close by. Very helpful reception staff.

Having to pay HUF 500 for each coffee pod provided - I've never been charged for pods in any other hotel that provides a machine.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, which offers great value for the price. We booked a Deluxe Double room that was spacious and featured a large bathtub, a private balcony, and a comfortable king-size bed with two separate duvets. The pillows were supportive and didn’t sag, ensuring a restful sleep. The room was also quiet, with no noise from neighboring rooms or the street. The location is excellent—tucked away on a peaceful street, just a 20-minute walk to the city center. If you prefer public transport, there’s a metro station only 5 minutes away. Breakfast was generous, offering a wide range of choices to suit every taste.

A couple of minor drawbacks: slippers and bathrobes were not provided in the room by default, but you can request them at the reception. Also, we occasionally noticed a slight damp smell when entering the room after being away.

The room was spacious and had a lovely balcony. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious and had a very nice spa bath. The location was excellent for visiting many sights, and metro access was very close by. Breakfast was very good and regularly restocked. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and on our last day, they loaned us umbrellas as it was quite wet. We were there for my birthday and received a very nice drinks gesture which we really appreciated.

Just to nitpick a little I would have expected slippers and dressing gowns in a Junior Suite and also better quality and size of towe;ls. The mini bar should also have a selection of two of each drink rather than just one. These are just my personal observations and did not impact on our very enjoyable stay.

Greeted kindly on very early arrival, luggage stored, & request for map & tourist advice given willingly. Room ready at appointed check in time, clean & comfortable. Beds wonderfully so! Hotel not overpowering, perhaps 50 rooms. Dining experience very good. A lot of breakfast choice nicely presented. All staff polite & courteous. Hotel nicely located in a quiet part of city, on luxurious tree lined avenue , a half hour walk into the centre, but transport nearby & also the "hop on hop off " bus near Heroes Square. Easy city to navigate & lots of interesting sights to see.

Location. Right next to the metro station, close to the city center and Heroes' Square. The hotel is small but chic. Good breakfast.

Even though the room was clean, the towels were old and musty. Cleaning was only done upon request, including shower gel, hand soap, and toilet paper.

Great location with good access to transport. Breakfast buffet was good with items replenished regularly. Most staff were friendly and professional. The restaurant had undergone a modern refurbishment since our last visit. Pleasant lounge area beside reception.

Air-con was very weak. Cleaning regime required a card to be completed to indicate specific daily requirements. The normal routine was based on a 3 day cycle and not always completed by mid afternoon. (Perhaps our fault for not asking for early cleaning.) The bath/shower unit is very high sided. Take care!

I liked the location - still central but in the pleasant, leafy villa quarter of Pest, off the beautiful avenue. The hotel and room seemed clean, the interior does not reflect the lovely art deco style of the building, nor does it exude any particular charm but it is tastefully designed and overall pleasing, so if you are into hotels that are not of the minimalist-corporate cookie cutter style, I think you'll be OK with this one. The room was well-equipped and neat, the mattress, though the springy type, still very comfortable, bathroom is spacious. You can control the room temperature, which is always a positive in my book. I did not have breakfast or used the restaurant so cannot comment on that.

Minor thing but I think the classic double room is rather for single travellers who are out and about all day long - it is not spacious enough for two people to move around. For single travellers it is a good value for money, though.

We liked the location in a leafy area of Budapest on Andrassy, walking distance to Hero's Square and the surrounding City Park, and the Szechenyi Thermal Baths. The hotel was tucked away on a quiet side street and our room had a little balcony where we would sit for our morning coffee. The hotel was very peaceful and comfortable, and a very good value for the nice accommodations. It is fair distance to walk to the Parliament Building (about 2.7 km) and the other sights along the river, but doable. It is also convenient to a metro stop. For those wanting a location near Hero's Square this is an excellent choice.

Nothing - we very much enjoyed our stay.

Room was excellent, large, with small balcony and very clean. Breakfast was excellent and everything is available and staff very obliging. Hotel was in a relatively quiet area about a mile out from the city centre and only a few hundred metres from Heroes Square so we were well pleased and the nearest Metro/bus stop was about 200metres away.

A guide in booklet form would be a good idea in the room outlining all the hotel facilities such as restaurant opening times, facilities available at sister hotels etc. A Map and guides to transport in Budapest would be very useful. There were small booklets in reception but no hotel details. The phone didn't work in our room but it was never a problem, but what about any emergencies? These are all things which we have found as standard in most European hotels. The room heating was impossible to control with the thermostat not working. Overall the Mamaison Adrassy was very good and we would definitely stay again.
