Location 10/10, Staff 10/10, Accommodation 8/10, Breakfast 10/10 In Városliget Park, right next to the hotel, you will find the largest thermal baths, a castle, a zoo, a circus, several museums, pavilions with refreshments, restaurants, and many attractions. Easy transportation options (Bolt, Uber), 300m to the historic metro, 0m to trolleybus No. 72, which stops at the zoo, the baths, and Nyugati Pu railway station. Within 200m, there are about four restaurants, two small shops, a bakery, and a sausage shop. There is also a hospital nearby, which we consider a plus, but occasionally, an ambulance siren can be heard for a short time. We were very satisfied with the hotel staff, from receptionists to housekeeping, who were really helpful – 10/10. We will visit the hotel again next year and hope these two issues will be fixed, so we can give it a 10/10.

We were relatively satisfied with the accommodation – 8/10. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and we received brand-new, renovated rooms. Unfortunately, in all four new shower cabins, water leaks onto the floor due to a poorly designed shower edge. Also, there was no option to switch languages on the TV.

The staff was always very attentive and friendly, the cleanliness of the room and the breakfast buffet were adequate for what we paid. The hotel is located in a quiet area, but well connected to the center and very close to one of the famous hot springs.

We missed restaurant service at the hotel, especially on nights when we returned late or very tired, but we appreciated the option of ordering pizzas at the bar. Due to a temporary problem, alcoholic beverages could not be served, but there was no obstacle to bring them in from outside (there is a supermarket nearby).

-the underground parking was very handy to have -the relaxed lobby where we kidded around & played football -the breakfast was nice, with good selection & coffee -the bar served drinks even at 1 am, which was great after the concert, for a night cap -very close to Budapest Zoo -close to the yellow metro line- quick trip to city centre -spacious rooms, large windows, flat screen tv, desk, good mattress and pillows, safe box in room -the shower gel/shampoos fragrance was beautiful( noticed this in April in Ibis Nice too)

-bathroom light was flickering constantly in a maddening way, like a stroboscope -towels pretty flimsy

During our stay, part of the hotel was being renovated, which is fine. But we didn't expect that on Saturday afternoon at 4 pm, multiple drills would be drilling concrete. However, I must commend the staff who responded to our request and the drilling stopped. We were not aware of the reservation when we made the reservation, we saw a notice in the elevator.

Loved the hotel and the location. Staff were VERY helpful and they all spoke good English. I would like to say a big thank you to the barman because he made a good cappuccino 😉. The only con I have is the toilet in the room 🥴 It is so close to the wall that you can hardly move but apart from that I would be happy to stay again in this hotel. Well done and keep up the good work. 👏 👏

The staff was very good, friendly and helpful except one. I was very upset about a man with the name of Atilla.(working the evening of 28 December). I asked relevant questions about transport to the airport and he treated me like a stupid schoolboy. I know Hungary use Forint as a currency but when I ask if i could use Euro to pay the taxi to the airport he was very rude and gave me a lesson about countries where the euro can be used. He was also very unhelpful about the time the taxi could pick us up, it MUST be exactly 3 hours before the flight and not anything else, and then we had to wait for other passengers more than 30 minutes at a next hotel. I don't think this behavior is good to a lovely hotel

The noise! Soundproofing is very poor: you here everything from the corridors, especially when someone closes their doors. Also there were sounds like someone was drilling (it was really unexpected). Rather poor breakfast with exactly the same options to choose. Hotel Taxi service was not reliable: it came with the 20 mins delay.

It would get higher marks if there were a kettle and mini fridge available in the room. It's always nice to make a cup of tea in the room after a day of exploring. There was a lovely cafe at reception that we could go to but my husband was quite sick and we needed to make tea at some stage and I kept having to run down to reception.

liked the breakfast much, and the staff was very friendly and helpful, hotel is in a nice location, with bus stops and the metro just a few steps away. A warm word about Greta from the reception who was extremely friendly and helped me a lot.

the room could have been cleaner. bugs at the window curtain. only one worker was at night when the lobby was full after a concert in the area ... in events like this, I think 2 workers would be nice.

The staff was super friendly and the bed was very comfy. Everything was clean.

The furniture is pretty old and the toilet flush was broken but after talking to the staff they fixed it. The location is good, close to bus and metro station, but a little outside of the center area. The breakfast was average and definitely not worth the money. I honestly expected a better breakfast in a hotel, as I usually stay in hostels and they all had better breakfasts so far. The taste of the food was average and the options were very limited. Luckily I'm a vegetarian, if you're a vegan there's hardly anything to eat for you.
