Smart hotel is wonderful! It have a good location 👍 very stylish hotel Еverything is a beautiful and pleasing for the eyes! After the interest city sighting tour we had a nice rest and enjoyed the sauna and relaxation area, warm benches!! Very pleasant and nice staff! Smart hotel will be our favorite hotel in Budapest! we will be are happy to recommend this hotel! P.S. look at the photo and you will see for yourself that he is beautiful

I liked everything

Such a great value. The location, wellness area, bar prices, and the room. Located a short walk away from the City Park, it's a great area to stay. The Sauna and shower were great - the Harvia heater heats up fast, and hot. Cheap public-parking nearby. Breakfast is pretty standard. The beans were excellent though.

Your mileage may, but staying on the first floor (where reception is) - it can be a bit noisy. You can hear everything through the door, and I only assume they can also hear everything you're doing inside. Other than that, no complaints.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Allow me to begin by mentioning that we arrived at the hotel at 3:30 a.m. due to a significant 3-hour delay, and fortunately, the self-check-in process went very smoothly. The hotel is not only exceptional, but everything and everyone associated with it are truly outstanding. It features automatic lighting throughout the common areas and the rooms, which adds to its elegance and technological sophistication. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was incredibly delicious! It is very well situated and in a quiet area.

We loved our stay here. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They gave us ideas of nice things to do with the children around the hotel. Also, our twin stroller couldn't fit through the door and the nice staff helped find a solution. What crowned it for me was when we had to leave very early on checkout, around 5 am. The lady at the reception packed breakfast for all 6 of us! That was simply amazing. Breakfast was tasty, though there could be more options. Location-wise, it's very well located. There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Our movement through the city was very easy. There's a children's park right in front of the hotel, plus a really big park not so far away, about 10 mins walk. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. I asked my kids what they liked and their response was - It was so clean, the rooms were beautiful, the breakfast was delicious, the park, the lemonade. So yeah, we recommend Smart Hotel.

My only drawbacks. The room we got wasn't inside the hotel but in the next building. The building itself didn't look the best, but once we entered our room, we didn't think much about the building anymore. Also, the toilet smelled of old pipe.

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for one night during our visit to Budapest, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. They went out of their way to assist us in choosing a great restaurant nearby, which made our evening even more enjoyable. As a lovely gesture, they even offered us a complimentary bottle of wine upon check-in. The hotel itself is modern and stylish, with excellent facilities. The room was very comfortable, clean, and beautifully designed, offering everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The attention to detail throughout the property creates a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere. If you're looking for a convenient, comfortable, and friendly place to stay in Budapest, we highly recommend this hotel. We’ll definitely be back on our next visit!

The room was a bit small, there was only one nightstand.

Location was perfect for my needs. It is not super central, but it is very close to metro line 1 which gets you to the centre quickly, and just a 10 minute walk from the Budapest city park. Breakfast had enough options and variety for my needs. The hotel is not that big so I wouldn't expect a huge selection at breakfast. The room seemed clean (you can never be 100 % sure with carpeted floors) and it was spacious enough. Shower was easy to handle and temperature easy to regulate, which I really appreciate. Magnifying mirror was also a welcome feature in the bathroom.

What I really missed were slippers in the room, but I didn't think to ask for them at the reception desk, only saw later that it was an option. Smart features are not for everyone, especially not being able to lower the room temp below 22 C. Soundproofing in the hotel could be better, but it is not too bad. For anyone really sensitive to sounds, I would recommend earplugs. Bathroom sink was a bit uncomfortable to use since it was quite elevated and I am a short person.

The location is really good many interesting things are at a 15 min walk( zoo, central park, goszdu udvar, etc) . In front of the hotel is a kids park and a lidl super close by.

​There are 3 main things that i didnt like. Firstly, the apartments are located in a separate residential building, which detracts from the hotel atmosphere. Secondly, the lack of private parking and the need to pay €10 per day for a spot on a nearby street is a significant disadvantage. Finally, the undersized breakfast area creates discomfort and crowding in the morning.

Loved the location....it was within walking distance of all the main attractions we wanted to see. Liked our room which was spacious, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, lovely big windows with a nice view. The ensuite shower was spacious, very clean, and well catered.The hotel itself is perfect. We.loved the modern decor and the lounge/ bar area is beautiful. with a cosy, warm feel. The staff were lovely...always pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was nice, something for everyone. Our only negative was that the hot food at breakfast ( bacon, sausages, eggs etc) was never piping hot and just luke warm. Not a massive issue.. wouldn't let it put us off staying here again. There is a (small) Lidl marker just across the road, also a pharmacy and a Chinese market...perfect if you need anything. Also across from the hotel is a fabulous little cafe , Ben the Goose Coffee Bar...best coffee and cakes in the city!! There are also some great restaurants nearby. Highly recommend this excellent hotel...we would definitely stay here again!

There was nothing we disliked about this hotel.

Loved the decor in this place. Staff were friendly, one blonde woman that seemed to work weekends was outstanding, super smiley and eager to help. Room was spacious and clean. Everything was Smart settings, I was a little worried the illuminated panel would keep me awake but it turns itself off. Bed was a little hard for my liking but still slept fine. The furnishings are very modern and fresh. Bathroom was well kitted out with shaving mirror, toiletries, hairdryer, tissues and more than enough toilet paper. The shower itself was great and built for two. Plenty of hanging space and shelving and an iron provided. Tea/coffee with kettle. Tv with loads of apps so you can log into your own favourite programs. Breakfast in the morning was good. Fruit juices, coffee machine, Pastries, bread, fruit, yogurts, cereal, cold meats, cheese. Eggs, bacon, sausage kept in a warmer but to be honest, they were never warm. I didn't mind that much, it still set me up for the day. The location was great, a Metro 1 tube station was a short walk away, this is the main tube line for places of interest. There is also a little spa area but I cannot comment on this as I never used it.

I loved this hotel but if i had to pick a dislike it would be noise. I was in a room in the reception area, I could hear everything, including conversations between staff. I could also hear guests in the other rooms plugging things in, talking, showering, and flushing the loo. Luckily I had brought earplugs with me. I would also have enjoyed the hot option breakfast to actually be HOT. These things would definitely not deter me from staying here again.

The property was very clean and close to the city centre. It was perfect for families, with a large and beautiful playground right in front of the hotel where our kids had a great time. The breakfast was very nice, and the staff were extremely helpful and professional. We had a very early check-out and they kindly prepared breakfast boxes for us, which we really appreciated.

Be aware that there is no car park next to the hotel. The nearest secure parking is about a 10-minute walk away and costs around €7 per day.
