The hotel was lovely, very well decorated and comfortable for a short stay The staff were friendly, helpful and always there if needed. The breakfast had a good selection and it was worth the money that we paid

The only thing I think the room missed was a coffee machine. As an early riser I like a coffee first thing and unfortunately the breakfast room wasn't open when I wanted a coffee and whilst there is a kettle and coffee granules in the room I am used to having a tassimo or nespresso in my hotel rooms to have a proper coffee

The hotel is perfect. Nice staff, big apartment, tasty breakfast with many options, clean. Garage for 14 EUR per day. We didn't use the wellness area.

Location :(. We wanted to use metro in order to go to the center. The station is 10 min walk near the Railway station. But while walking, especially back at night, it was very scary. The next day we decided to go to the city with the car.

UNIQUE CONCEPT WITH SMALL BUT FUNCTIONAL KITCHEN SOLUTION. THE STAFF WAS EXCELLENT, AND THEY DID EVERYTHING TO MAKE SURE I HAD AN EXCELLENT STAY. I WANT TO CHANGE ROOM DUE TO POOR INTERNET, AND THEY DID IT WITHIN 1 HOUR. WITHOUT EXTRA COSTS FOR A LARGER ROOM. THIS IS MY 3RD STAY IN BUDAPEST WITH DIFFERENT HOTELS. NOW I'M LOOKING FOR NO MORE.... ONYX IS MY PLACE FROM NOW ON. I'LL COME AGAIN IN OCTOBER AFTER THE GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS IN NORWAY. So Onyx " I WILL BE BACK " :)

Breakfast could be a bit better with more variety. Scrambled eggs were a bit cold and hard as bricks. Also the bread and rolls were very dry. Most likely they were fried the day before, and that is not good advertising. So if you could arrange for warmer scrambled eggs, and fresh bread then it would be very good. Their coffee machine was excellent.

We stayed at the Onyx Hotel in Budapest with our family and had a wonderful experience! What stood out the most was the reception team of young women who assisted us throughout our entire stay. They were exceptionally friendly, patient, and willing to help with any question or request. The staff helped us greatly with coordinating tours around the city, recommended excellent restaurants, and were available for us at all hours. Even when we encountered small issues, we always received prompt and efficient assistance. The hotel's maintenance standards deserve special mention - all public areas and rooms are impeccably clean and well-maintained. The rooms themselves are spacious, designed in a modern style, and well-equipped, making them ideal for families. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are quiet, allowing us to sleep well after long days of sightseeing. The hotel's location is excellent - within walking distance of major attractions, public transportation stations, restaurants, and shops. Breakfast is varied and rich, with plenty of options for all family members. Onyx Hotel is definitely an excellent choice for families visiting Budapest, and we highly recommend it. Thanks to the spacious rooms, personalized service, and convenient location, it's a perfect base for an unforgettable family vacation in this beautiful city

Everything was excellent...only two things to improove

The fitness gear and sauna is very poor. Sauna set to only 50 degrees....you wont sweat in it...it is too cold. The fitness bycicle seat is not fixed..cannot use it , needs maintaining service. The running treadmill is for home use and only for lighter persons...heavier person will stop the threadmill every step while running. The rowing machine is for home use and very basic..needs maintaining service. Every machine for warming up is not usable...or is not maintained. Just replace those 3 machines with professional ones and fitness would be great. It is not big investion.

Our stay at the hotel in Budapest was absolutely wonderful. Even before our arrival, Vanda – the lovely lady from reservations – made an exceptional impression. She provided us with all the necessary information about the hotel and kindly fulfilled our not-so-small requests with warmth and professionalism. ❤️ The hotel is located in the wider city center and offers a garage and wellness area (available at an additional cost). Our room was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and came with a balcony and a small kitchenette, which made our stay even more comfortable. Breakfast was more than generous – varied, fresh, and delicious. We honestly wish we had stayed longer. Spending an entire day just relaxing at the hotel wouldn’t have been a bad idea at all. Highly recommended!

The very pleasant and truly exceptional service , we got lots of help and very kind attention from the reception !, the excellent , beautiful room with all the necessary to feel very comfortable . and the spa on the roof , the jacuzzi was top notch! Would gladly recommend this hotel !

I was a little disappointed by the breakfast , it was nice in taste and nicely presented , but hardly any variety from day to day , and after a few days of pretty much the same it got somewhat boring .

It was a wonderful place, which my family and I enjoyed so much. We arrived late in the night, so we had to self check-in. But everything was greatly arranged and went smoothly. We were welcomed with a bottle of wonderful Hungarian wine to celebrate my father's birthday. The breakfast was good, but not fantastic as marked on booking. There were options, but no changes during our 5 day stay. The bakery and salad spreads were not fresh. So there is definitely space for improvement 😊

Onyx Luxury is not just a name, it is really a luxury hotel. My wife and I enjoyed it very much. The room we stayed in was fully equipped with everything we needed and even more. There was a stove, refrigerator and even a microwave oven. Although we didn't use all the facility it was nice to have. Staff at the reception where very polite and help us to find the best places in the city. Breakfast was great, so that even a vegetarian (like me) can find a lot to eat.

The hotel was slightly far from the center of town, but still we took it into consideration when we booked the hotel besides, walking is healthy for us and the far from the center of town makes the neighborhood quiet. Also, there was a Metro station not very far from the hotel.
