The hotel is perfect. Nice staff, big apartment, tasty breakfast with many options, clean. Garage for 14 EUR per day. We didn't use the wellness area.

Location :(. We wanted to use metro in order to go to the center. The station is 10 min walk near the Railway station. But while walking, especially back at night, it was very scary. The next day we decided to go to the city with the car.

We stayed at the Onyx Hotel in Budapest with our family and had a wonderful experience! What stood out the most was the reception team of young women who assisted us throughout our entire stay. They were exceptionally friendly, patient, and willing to help with any question or request. The staff helped us greatly with coordinating tours around the city, recommended excellent restaurants, and were available for us at all hours. Even when we encountered small issues, we always received prompt and efficient assistance. The hotel's maintenance standards deserve special mention - all public areas and rooms are impeccably clean and well-maintained. The rooms themselves are spacious, designed in a modern style, and well-equipped, making them ideal for families. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are quiet, allowing us to sleep well after long days of sightseeing. The hotel's location is excellent - within walking distance of major attractions, public transportation stations, restaurants, and shops. Breakfast is varied and rich, with plenty of options for all family members. Onyx Hotel is definitely an excellent choice for families visiting Budapest, and we highly recommend it. Thanks to the spacious rooms, personalized service, and convenient location, it's a perfect base for an unforgettable family vacation in this beautiful city

It was a wonderful place, which my family and I enjoyed so much. We arrived late in the night, so we had to self check-in. But everything was greatly arranged and went smoothly. We were welcomed with a bottle of wonderful Hungarian wine to celebrate my father's birthday. Thank you so much, Onyx Luxury team and special thanks to Vanda, who took care of us during the whole stay and who was so kind, warm and welcoming.

The breakfast was good, but not fantastic as marked on booking. There were options, but no changes during our 5 day stay. The bakery and salad spreads were not fresh. So there is definitely space for improvement 😊

Onyx Luxury is not just a name, it is really a luxury hotel. My wife and I enjoyed it very much. The room we stayed in was fully equipped with everything we needed and even more. There was a stove, refrigerator and even a microwave oven. Although we didn't use all the facility it was nice to have. Staff at the reception where very polite and help us to find the best places in the city. Breakfast was great, so that even a vegetarian (like me) can find a lot to eat.

The hotel was slightly far from the center of town, but still we took it into consideration when we booked the hotel besides, walking is healthy for us and the far from the center of town makes the neighborhood quiet. Also, there was a Metro station not very far from the hotel.

- Location was great - Breakfast was acceptable - Beds were amazing - Breakfast personnel was very kind and eager to help - No issues with noise, very quiet during the nights

- Some of the cleaning personnel was unprofessional, making a lot of noise on the hallway, talking on the phone a lot, laughing very loud - The glass table in the apartment with sharp edges and corners created a lot of trouble for our small child - Parking spots were tight but I had no issue because it was never full - I was under the impression that they had a restaurant where you can order food, they only serve some sandwhiches

Everything was almost perfect. I traveled with my mother and sister. We had a room with kitchen, where you could find everything you need for cooking. The room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was nice and tasty, maybe fruits were not always at the highest quality, but a fruit salad was great! Coffee is one of the best I‘ve ever tried :) We had an issue with our safe box in the end of our stay, but it was kindly resolved by a hotel administrator. I definitely recommend this place for your exceptional vacation in Budapest. Thanks you for the hospitality and we would rather stay here again :)

Friendly hotel staff, big and spacious room, the breakfast was great. We had everything we needed, even a small balcony. Since we were celebrating Birthday, after communicating with the hotel we even received a bottle of wine free of charge. That was a really nice gesture! The hotel is close to the train station and also public transport (bus, metro) which was very convenient for when we wanted to visit the city and its main sights. If you want to stay in the area, there are also a few restaurants and Cafés nearby. We went to some of them and had a pleasant experience.

Payment for the wellness. We had to pay extra for the whole day, when we wanted to use it, and since there's one jacuzzi and one sauna for the whole hotel, it can get crowdy. We were there only for a short while. However, the view from the roof is beautiful.

Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money with comfortable accommodations, great service, and a convenient yet peaceful location. Would definitely stay again!

A very nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood (although there was nothing luxurious in it as such...) - the deluxe one-bedroom apartment was very cosy and nicely decorated. The kitchen corner had everything you need if you want cook something yourself. The location of the hotel is excellent with many public transport options available and several nice restaurants within a short walking distance. Good buffet breakfast and friendly personnel. The mattresses were too firm for me, the only reason I wouldn't go back to this hotel. But that is, of course, purely a matter of personal taste.

uncomfortable bed

We (a family of four) stayed a weekend at Onyx. The hotel is new, comfortable, well though-out, well-kept, and the people working there are cheerful and super helpful. Having a garage is a big plus as it can be tough finding parking in the neighbourhood. We loved the room (one bedroom suite), it was perfect for two adults and two children. The breakfast was varied and fresh. I was especially impressed by how helpful, caring and cheerful the ladies at the reception are. If you want to move around Budapest with public transport, metro is a short walk away and the trolleybus stop is around the corner. For groceries, there's a small shop right opposite, and a couple of larger supermarkets within a 10-minute walk.

Soundproofing could be better. Other guests were noisy and inconsiderate, depriving us of a good night's sleep. The area around the hotel is somewhat rundown, no passable restaurants within walking distance—but that's hardly the hotel's fault!
