Breakfast was okay, although the second morning of my stay I got to breakfast at 9 am( was until 10) and the variety of the food wasn’t great. The actual building is beautiful but the inside is a bit dated, but very clean. The bathroom and the shower is on the odd side. Bed wasn’t the best but also not the worst I’ve had. Pillows were very small but again clean. There is a church next door and the church bell rang every hour, it can be annoying if someone is not used to. Overall great value. Staff were very nice and helpful especially at reception.

There is no lift but lots of stairs. I understand it is ab old building but there are people with disabilities. I’ve struggled.

Perfectly placed in the middle of the city. Big room, clean. A bit pompous, but with style. Very good breakfast, with early start. Internet ok. Air conditioning working. Perfect for a short visit o the city.

No complaints, just a misunderstanding. After booking, I received a long message in Hungarian. Luckily, there is google translate. There is no parking at the hotel, but they offered a place in a nearby shopping center (with payment). At arrival, this option was no longer available, so I had to use a public parking place, at less than 100 meters from the hotel. Free from 17 to 8. We left at 8...

This is a wonderful classic hotel. The building is a magnificent example of architecture from the end of the century before WWI. The inside is cozy and charming. The rooms are very comfortable: strong wifi, great A/C and the breakfast is incredible. Wonderful Hungarian dishes beside the usual eggs and meats. Good coffee. The staff is flexible, kind and very helpful. The location is the best of any hotel in the city. Plenty of parking. I recommend this hotel and the town for a nice get away, to go to the theater or the city's awesome zoo. Good place for children too.

Now the adjective "in the city center" really makes sense: the Korona Hotel is located on the main square of the city, the iconic building is one of the symbols of Nyíregyháza. Everything is within walking distance. The hotel is unbeatable in terms of price/value. Comfortable beds, more lavish breakfast than 3-star standards. They are attentive at the reception.

Access to the rooms is adventurous: due to the connection of several old buildings, you have to go up and down stairs to get to the room. In the rooms, the large-screen TV should be mounted on the wall - it takes up space on the desk. The hangers in the cupboard need to be replaced, the joint on the edge of the tub needs renovation

The location of the hotel was great, we were able to explore Nyíregyhaza. Our rooms were big and really enjoyed the A/C on the hottest day in the summer. We really enjoyed the breakfast which had a great variety and even different option for warm breakfast each day.

We know it is a famous old building with beautiful interior, but the some of the little parts of the wall was falling out. I had to plug out one of the standing lamp to charge my phone because there was no extra plugs in our room.

The hotel is situated right on the central square, making it easily locatable. The staff was exceptionally helpful and kind, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The room was spacious and clean, offering great facilities, although it lacked shampoo and shower gel – guests need to bring their own. Despite this, the room was comfortable and provided good value for the money. We didn't spot a lift, which may pose a challenge for travellers with wheelchairs as the room are on top of a huge staircase. Breakfast boasted a diverse array of foods, and dinner at the next door pub featured a typical Hungarian-infused Pub menu, three-course, with substantial portions that we struggled to finish.

While the place could benefit from some renovation, overall, it offered good value for the money so nothing to comment here.

The hotel is elegant, the rooms were nice and tidy. They had a child corner with many toys there. All the staff were kind, the receptionist spoke English very well. There were plenty of options at breakfast even for vegetarians, quite a few for vegans, and they very kindly informed us about allergens. We had a very pleasant stay here. Thank you!

They don't have a lift, so if you arrive with a big luggage or you have a pram, be prepared for the stairs.

This hotel is on the city square. We arrived and some concert was there just for us :) Personnel is not behind his tesk all the time, but only a phonecall away, arriving fast. Parking is only public, on the street, evening and night for free. I did not have coins, so a staff member gave me for the first hour, I gave to her a chocolate from my country :) Room is comfy, candy on the pillow, clean. Breakfest was OK. Entrance - ROYAL!

It has taken quite some effort to get the room which was actually booked. But when we've got one, then almost all expectations were met. There is no elevator in the building. It should be considered when getting there with babies. Also, despite the bed for the baby being confirmed, it was not actually provided. So, if I check in there once again, I will communicate those aspects more carefully

Placed exactly in the city center ( 5.5 km from zoo or aqua parc) the hotel is a perfect choise for a weekend escape or business purposes. Even if not freslhly renovated , it offers amaizing cleaning level in very spatious rooms (air cond. included). The customer service offered at the reception was imaculate ( super friendly and kind staff, with good level of english). Breakfast was ok but the bonus came from John Bull restaurant wich has a great variety of tasty food (local or international) at the best prices (best and cheepest private label draft beer from the whole city center). All in all, I highly recommed the place as a perfect choise for the price! ( customer service, cleaning, location, food&drinks).
