Immaculate apartment. Excellent location - close to harbour and town centre.The facilities in the apartment were brilliant from the coffee machine, dishwasher, to the washing machine (supplies for each included). Very comfortably proportioned for a family of four. Would definitely stay there again

Very, very minor suggestions. A diagram on where exactly to deposit recycling and instructions on how to operate the oven would be appreciated by future customers I'm sure

The best place we stayed in on our trip to Iceland. The accommodation was clean and very spacious. It's in a great location, within walking distance of the centre of Akureyri, and in close proximity to shops and restaurants.

It was all good. No issues at all.

Hrimland is a clean, modern, well decorated apartment near the waterfront. There’s adequate space, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well organized, and the balcony provides a comfortable place to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the boats come in. After eight days of exploring Iceland, we particularly appreciated the washer and dryer. And the heated floors were a delight. The emailed check-in instructions were clear, and we had no trouble following the “house rules” posted just inside the front door. Free parking was always available right outside the building. Just remember that the entry code for the front door is exactly the same as the code used to access the apartment itself. And the trash bins that you use upon check-out are in back of the building under the exterior stairs. This really is a terrific place to stay—modern, clean, and right near the town center. I would be happy to spend a week or two there. Hrimland has my highest recommendation.

More clothes hangers and a small paring knife would be helpful.

Location was amazing - walking distance to everything you could want. There was plenty of free parking right out front as well. The door code (for the building and the apartment) was hassle free and easy. There was an elevator up to apartment. We found the apartment to be well stocked, clean, and spacious. The heating floor system was easy to use. The laundry was also easy to use in the unit as well. Though there was no shower curtain in the shower, the way the floor eating & provided squeegee allowed us to remove the water that went on the bathroom floor. (I believe it was designed this way, just a note for us Americans who are used to shower curtains.) Overall, I would absolutely stay here again!

The only complaint was that there were not black out curtains on the windows in our unit. This made it hard to get a good night sleep in the summer.

Excellent location, clean comfortable and enough room to repack luggage. Free parking at front door. Walkable shops. Good equipment, but the hot plates are very slow. Washer and dryer excellent. No keys required, prompt communication from host. Highly recommended! I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

A spacious modern apartment in an ideal location. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We had a couple of problems when we first got there (with the internet and the window in the bathroom), but these were sorted out the following day. It was also nice to have a washing machine and dryer so we could do some laundry in the middle of our holiday!

The cups provided were very small - some larger mugs would have been good! All communication seemed to be by email, which was a bit frustrating, although they always responded quickly.

Very clean, beautiful atmosphere, easy to get to and convenient location. Our stay was so wonderful we contemplated extending our vacation! Apartment had all of the basics you need like laundry and kitchen. Very close to amenities like grocery stores, pharmacy, gas stations.

The apartment is right by a main street, and our apartment windows faced that way so it was sometimes very loud with the windows open. The kitchen is very basic, there is no freezer (but there is an ice machine on the 1st floor) but it has everything you need for a simple and basic stay.

This is the full-scale apartment with everything you need right at your disposal. Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, kettle, stove and even a toaster -- everythign is in the room. The apartment itself consists of a living room and a bedroom, so a family of 4 fits withough sacrifycing privacy. +1 for warm floors. There was also great internet connection!

Just a block or two away from the heart of Akureyri, we were able to walk to the food and shops area quite easily. The unit was very spacious with its open floorplan. Having in-room laundry was also very useful! There is ample off-street parking for the building and easy entry to the facility and rooms via access codes, making it very easy to come and go.

Really big apartment, spacious, stylish and modern. Comfortable bed, nice lighting, loved the sofa area and the table. Large parking just in front of the building. Nice shower, with washing machine and drier available in the bathroom. Centrally located, just in front of the port. Quite close to supermarkets working till 21:00, a big plus in Iceland. They helped us find the contact for a doctor for a little issue.

We did not receive the sms with the code access and had to call. We were provided a cot, but no linen nor pillow for the little one - a bit off in such a family-friendly country. The nearby area is fine, but not the nicest in town. A bit impersonal.
