The view of the lake was nice. Our room had a large bathroom. It was clean and peaceful. And the price was good compared to other places we stayed during our two weeks in Iceland.

We were accidentally given an upgraded room and they were totally sold out so we had to move to another room (the room we were supposed to be in) 3 hours later after we had already unpacked. It is away from everything so you are really stuck eating there. Had to check in between 4 & 6 pm. We were usually out hiking and sightseeing until way past that time so we had to miss out on some things.

A great place for a reasonable price. The service is beyond praise, as in 5*. Many thanks to the administrator for letting us in at night! Our room was small, but perfectly clean, with everything needable. Breakfast is a buffet, for every taste, there is enough of everything, there is no need to rush so as not to stay hungry, and a big plus - breakfasts up to 10, you can sleep longer) The room has many sockets in convenient places, several lighting options, a comfortable bed and pillows, heating

Very high prices in the restaurant. Although food in the entire region is quite expensive.

Hotel is located in a peaceful and beautiful place with good weather, which is kind of rare for Iceland. Decent room, very nice service at reception.

We didn't find a lift to go to the second floor, so we had to carry the suitcases which are a bit on the heavy side. We arrived very late and the parking was completely full. We were still able to park right next to the hotel though, just the place wasn't designed exactly for parking.

The location in the middle of the forest was incredible. We arrived in the hotel late at night kind of in emergency situation because we had a reservation in Seyðisfjörður but the road was closed because of a snow storm. We were at Vök baths trying to find a last minute room to stay immediately and it was such a relief to find this deal, just 30 minutes away from where we were. The staff was incredibly nice and the hotel is cozy.

The breakfast buffet was super crowded and a lot of food was not available.

breakfast was yummy, apart from the english breakfast. cute place with a lovely view over the lake. hot tub had a nice view also. gas station only a few minutes away,! the room was lovely. great bang for buck! they had cod liver oil, and a great assortment of juices. bread was yummy. very happy with most of the breakfast. many birds

the scrambled eggs were very bad. the rest of the "warm" breakfast foods (bacon, sausage, beans,...) were cold. be careful when driving there, many many birds flying low.

Our room was quite large. The facilities were quite lovely and everything was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. Staff were quite friendly and helpful as well. The breakfast buffet had great selection. The views on the property are beautiful.

We arrived quite late after a long day of driving, and so didn't get to make use of the pool/hot tub as everything was closed when we arrived. So, would recommend arriving a bit earlier to enjoy some of the amenities that the hotel has to offer.

This was one of the surprises of our trip, it was our favorite stay! Loved everything about it. Our room had a great view, comfy beds, large room/bathroom, our room included 1 hour private spa access. Food at the restaurant was the best we had in Iceland! The hotel had a great happy hour too. Area surrounding the hotel is beautiful. We wished we had stayed longer.

This place exceeded expectations, the photos and description doesn’t do it justice! Beautiful big rooms with great view of the river/lake.

There is suppose to be two restaurants buffet and ala carte but it was only the a buffet restaurant that was open and while we got there quite late around 20:30 the buffet was a little underwhelming. Apart from that the place was excellent

Loved the location of the hotel - it is nestled in the forest. We stayed here during our ring road trip and it was very comfortable for the four of us. The check in process was super easy. Lots of options for breakfast

Breakfast could have been a little better - the eggs were weirdly sweet and the yogurt had a weird aftertaste but everything else was great.

The room and breakfast were amazing. It was our favorite stay of our whole trip around the island. They were also so sweet and outdid our expectations with a happy anniversary note and a chocolate bar.

They're was only one person running the bar/ reception and it did make for a bit of a wait. But they were nice and it wasn't bad.
