Wonderful kitchen facilities for cooking a meal. There were two ovens and sinks so multiple groups could cook at a time, and plenty of kitchen supplies - pots, pans, baking trays, knives, cutting boards, etc. Modern rooms with comfortable beds. We didn't know what to expect here and were pleasantly surprised with the quality!

It was a little noisy with the other guests and occasionally hard to get into one of the shared bathrooms. They were in the process of adding 2 more shared bathrooms on the lower floor when we were there, and that will be a great improvement!

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The radiator was strong and good to heat us up! There was a toilet and shower / toilet near our room and both were free a lot of the time so that was great. The guesthouse provided clean towels to put on the floor after you exit the shower, which was nice and the bathrooms I used were all really clean.

The kitchen was small for the amount of rooms and when we were there there were people cooking all the time so we just used the microwave to make an easy meal instead of cooking.

Cozy accommodation,our room was a bit small but enough for two people,clean and warm.the guesthouse provides a big kitchen,well equipped with all the amenities you will need. It is located at an excellent area,at the heart of the city center,near the shops and the supermarkets.

Our room didn’t have enough sockets and the two existing ones were too far from our beds. The toilets were clean but the bathrooms had a weird smell because of the lack of ventilation. One more problem with the showers was that they were flooding with water quite immediately,as the sewers seemed clogged up.

Check in was from 4pm onwards, which worked well, everything was clean and prepared for arriving guests. Room was a good size, as were the shared bathrooms. The kitchen was great, very clean, with large fridges to store your food and everything we needed to cook and prepare our meals. All in all, a pleasant surprise for the price we paid.

The kitchen was busy, but everyone cleaned their own mess and were respectful of others..

Simple, everything you need. Liked that it had separate wc from shower so you don’t have to wait when someone is taking a shower. Well equipped kitchen. Very clean. Beds good.

Needs an AC and a fly-net for the window. Was very hot so you had to keep the windows open, then the biting midge could get inside during the night so I had some bites. You can get a fan borrowed, as I did, but it wasn’t enough. Outside area can be improved.

Staff was fantastic! Room was spotlessly clean and was within walking distance of restaurants. The kitchen was well appointed. The shared bathrooms are clean and there are several available.

There is no Air conditioning. We arrived on an unusually hot day and our room was very hot. The blackout curtains help if you use them early in the day to keep the sun from shining in the windows. The fans helped a little, but it was very hot.

Probably the best guest kitchen of our entire Iceland trip, with lots of space and any equipment you can think of, very clean and tidy. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Easy self check-in, no staff at the reception when we were there.

The walls between the rooms are very thin, lots of noise. There don't seem to be enough bathrooms and showers for the number of rooms, their cleanliness is also not the best.

The set-up was great - conveniently located washrooms and showers, with a good kitchen and social/dining area. Bed and pillow were nicer than other places I’ve stayed on this trip. The walls were fairly soundproof, which was important. Plenty of parking in front of the building. Super close to a Netto grocery store!

While the walls were soundproof for most instances, I had a boys basketball team staying in the room next to mine. They were very loud and there was no one on staff to tell them to adhere to quiet hours.

I loved the comfortable bed, the very hi spec kitchen, high level of cleanliness and incredible location in Egilsstaðir. I sadly could not explore Seydisfjordur. I nearly crashed the hire car on road F93 in the snow :(

The level of noise in the hostel depends upon the other guests. I stayed in Winter, less people equals less noise and a quieter kitchen to cook in
