Self check in went well with the key box. Surprised there were so many stairs - I think this building used to be a bank. We had to go down stairs and then up 2 flights so not very convenient. Enjoyed the balcony. We sat out and enjoyed the view of the water with a glass of wine. There was a nice restaurant down the street Randolf's Sea House. Very quiet place to stay so we slept well.

The lady -Eva - was friendly and kind. She was most accommodating. She gave us choices. Suggested where we could have dinner, and invited us to call her at home if we needed anything. We were most pleased

We would have liked to have 2 keys since having the lights on required a key. When one of us had to go to the car and needed the key to get back in the hotel, the other one had to go outside or be in the dark

Kind, helpful staff. Delicious and plentiful breakfast (the waffles were a big surprise for my son). The room is big, clean and tidy, and it was a pleasure to sleep through the night because of the fully darkenable room.

The constantly alarming door lock was a bit annoying.

Ideal location with free parking outside front door. Quiet at night. Good breakfast. Tea-making facilities in room. Comfortable beds. Staff very helpful in many ways.

A lift would help with getting luggage to first floor. No extractor fan or window in bathroom.

Arrived and doors to enter the hotel were locked. Too many irregular stairs to navigate. Lights require the key to be in the wall slot but no one told us… No curtains or blinds in bathroom window (maybe it had a mirrored film but there was no way to know)

We got the mountain view. Opposite to a convenient store. Walking distant to restaurants. Room is big and good proportions.

Sharing balcony to the neighbors. But not a big deal only if your neighbors are hanging outside and being loud.

Good location had breakfast for us in the morning that was delicious.

It was a bit deserted when we got there- no full time staff on site but we had no trouble contacting someone and getting in!

Our host, Eva, was very kind and helpful. Made us feel at home. She recommended an excellent bakery, Sesam, in Reydarfjodur, for our next morning drive out of town Bonus: The grocery across the street has a little bit of everything.

Clean, roomy, good wifi

Only drawback: had to go down a flight of stairs without handrail, then up two flights (with handrail), while lugging my 20kg suitcase.

Breakfast was good. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed all the food! The rooms were spacious and quiet. The staff was knowledgeable and helped us find a good restaurant on town. We recommend this hotel.
