Beautiful traditional house, clean, comfortable and the staff were exremely helpful. Totally charming, looking out over the lagoon and watching the seals and birds come and go. Would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend.

It is very close to the ferry terminal, which some may not like, but Sedysfjordur is a very small place and this will apply to most lodgings. If anything, watching the cruise liners come and go just adds to the experience.

The whole town was really cute but the house was extra cute. Two floors, felt like a little cabin, extremely cozy. The kitchen also was the best of all of our stays on our trip, mainly because the knives were actually sharp and not the cheapest plastic ones you can buy from IKEA. We stayed up until almost 3am watching the auroras here too, which made our stay extra memorable. I wish we had stayed longer (also so we could go to Vök Baths again).

Liked the location with view to the village. Bit unfortunate that engineering works began toward end of stay, rather ruined the view of the village and ambience - but no fault of yours. The house was cosy, clean with everything that was necessary for a pleasant stay.

Very homey and comfortable. Great location. Excellent view of the town and surrounding fjord. Exceptionally clean and the beds were great. It was well decorated and had a very vintage feel, although had all modern amenities. I loved sitting on the back deck.

Exterior doors were a bit hard to get used to if you’re not used to those kinds of doors. It was a bit pricey although not bad if you’re splitting it with others. Stairs to the upstairs bedrooms were a bit steep and the railing didn’t go all the way to the top of the stairs which made it somewhat more difficult to grab onto.

Beeping noise started about 10pm and lasted through the night. I felt it was too late to contact hostess. When I reached out in the morning she said it was probably the alarm system. I realized one of my teenagers hadn't shut the front door tight enough. Totally our fault but made for a frustrating night and not great sleep.

This place is just amazing. Beautiful house with all you need for the stay. Fully equipped kitchen, several rooms. Everything clean and nice. There is a small patio in front of the house where you also have a barbecue (we didn't use it). It is close to the port and really a perfect spot to stay during the trip around east fjords. Next time I would like to stay longer than just one night. There were just two of us so we didn't use rooms on the first floor but the house can accomodate few people. Contact with the host was also easy and we received answers to our questions quickly. Great value for money in my view.

The town is small and beautiful but the big ships are comming there releasing loads of turists who then go further to the island. So while it was empty the evening before it was a perfect moment to take pictures around little church in the center of the town and there were only local people around. The next morning when tourists arrived it was packed with people fighting for the perfect photo spot. It is not house related though! There everything was perfect :) Just take your photos before the ship arrive into the port :)

We are now on day 6 of our trip and have stayed in several places along the way. This is by far our favorite! The little town is a quaint fishing village with some great restaurant options. The apartment is adorable with a view of the harbor. The accommodations themselves are wonderful. Comfortable beds and the kitchen has everything you need. The host was very responsive as well and the free laundry facilities is a great ammenity. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

There is nothing I didn't like

Amazing location, view of falls, mountains and cozy town. Clean and well kept. Outdoor seating with view. Walk to church and fall. Easy parking/checkin/out.

Common cloth washer dryer, and dryer cycle being 2hr+, other tourist totally hogged it with double load that means 5hr gone with them. We were left with no option but no to do laundry.

A wonderful three bedroom apartment. Exceptionally clean and tidy. Very warm with excellent underfloor heating in the large modern bathroom. All the facilities were first class! The location is amazing with sea and Mountain View’s. Free parking on the driveway with walking distance to restaurants and supermarket. We were lucky enough to experience the Northern Lights during our stay, from the rear porch! Perfect! The owner obviously takes great pride in the service offered. Very highly recommend. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

The apartments we stayed are facing the bay. The scenery is so beautiful that you just wish to stay there longer and longer. Rooms are all spacious. Two are upstairs. Bathroom is big. Got a BBQ stove. We enjoyed very much staying there.

The washing machine was in a separate hut and was shared by several apt, I guess. So we have to queue up for it for some time. And the cooker was not working properly. It took us ages to cook our dinner
