Last minute booking was well accomidated and staff were very helpful and willing in trying to assist me with further bookings. Facilities very neat and clean, loved the shared kitchen/dining room where you can store in fridge and cook. Very clean and modern ensuite bathroom.

Black-out curtains didn’t work fully so room was very bright during the night (midnight sun). Mentioned this to owner who said that further curtains will be set up soon. Prices are also a little high compared to other places if you are traveling solo.

Shoes off policy helps kept the guesthouse clean and homy. Even rooms without private toilet has a sink, which made it super convenient in the morning and before bed. Bath robe is also provided. Shower is with duo shower heads, providing the options to take shower with partner. Hand drying towels adds up to the positive experience. Lovely vintage wooden decorations in the guesthouse . Good kitchen facilities. Free to use the washing and drying machines which were surprising. Very friendly host, sharing traffic tips and asking for our travel plan in prep for the icy weather.

Quite easy to hear movements outside the room. Trash bins in rooms are on the small side. Will be ideal to have a sitting stool at the gate for shoes removal and wearing.

Very clean property, and friendly staff. You can help yourself to hot drinks from the machine in the kitchen. Shared areas were all very clean also. We were able to do some laundry there also, which was very handy. Great location right on the water front in pretty Seydisfjordur. Rooms were bright and comfortable.

As with all places in Iceland in summer months, you will pay a high price versus the equivalent elsewhere, however that’s no fault of the property or country. It is what it is ☺️

The guest house has a guest laundry that is free . Guest laundries are rare in Iceland, much less free. The owner of the guesthouse is extremely helpful She even gave me a ride with my heavy luggage in her own car early in the morning a few blocks down the street to a sailboat I was meeting to crew on.

No breakfast BUT there is an extensive spotless kitchen for guests to use and a number made full use of that, especially families, to cook dinner as well as breakfast. There is a coffee /espresso / hot chocolate machine always available for guests to use.

This guesthouse is in a great location within this small but beautiful town, a short walk to everything you need (bars, restaurants, grocery shopping, etc). The room was a generous size, clean, with comfortable beds. The kitchen amenities were generous with plenty of space for cooking & storing our groceries. We definitely recommend this guesthouse.

I can't think of anything to dislike about this place....remembering it's a guesthouse, not a hotel. We enjoyed our short stay here.

This was a lovely, well equipped guest house. The host was welcoming and helpful, but unobtrusive. We enjoyed the camaraderie in the communal kitchen and the opportunity to interact, in passing with fellow travellers. We also enjoyed the location: the proximity to the waterfall and the lake and the quiet calm of the town.

The guesthouse met our needs and we departed well satisfied.

Everything about this accommodation was just perfect.the room was spacious,with a magnificent mountain view and close to the city center. Very clean,quiet and cozy. The guesthouse provides a fully equipped kitchen with amenities for all your needs. The staff were really friendly,welcoming and helpful. Great choice,I totally recommend it!

I can’t really find anything that I didn’t like in this guesthouse

Nice kitchen and eating area with refrigerator, stove, oven and dishwasher. There is an automatic coffee maker which makes a range of ooffees. There is a washer and dryer available also.

Nothing special about the rooms or views.

The location was nice, an easy walk to town and a nice view to the water. It was very clean. There was a small sink in the room and lots of clean towels available in the shared bathroom. The shared bathroom was clean and tidy every time we used it. The shared kitchen was clean and had everything you needed to make a meal, although we only used the refrigerator.

Sharing a bathroom with strangers, although it was very nice with lots of clean towels and was clean and tidy at all times.

The location is 5-minutes walk to the city centre. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. This is a HOSTEL/guesthouse. We had a private room with private bathroom. The community kitchen is clean & well equipped if want to cook. Laundry is available and free to use.
