We arrived around 10pm and checked out at 9.30am next morning, so not so much time to make a full experience of the property. Breakfast spread was good. The person at the reception who helped us during check-in was polite and patient. Parking was comfortable. Overall good enough for a one-night stay.

The hotel lacks an elevator. Also the room size is small though it’s adequately designed to fit everything that one might need for a short stay. The kettle was not so clean. The room floor wasn’t so clean either, I found out when I walked bare feet for few seconds.

The room was clean, nice size, good bathroom. Made a mistake with the booking, the staff after some negotiation helped and fixed it, it was my mistake so.i was very happy.

Almost never anyone in the lobby. When asking other staff I was repeatedly told that the person must be on a smoke break. When I finally found them it was true, they always reeked of smoke, really reeked. Some damage on the ceiling in the bathroom . Drunken loud noises from guests below our room.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed. Everything was perfect. After 4 nightmare nights in a campervan, I actually cried of happiness after check-in, during an amazing pizza I had for dinner at the hotel's restaurant. S2

Taking large luggage to the upper rooms can be problematic for some guests as there is no elevators. If you would like to avoid this, I recommend asking for ground level rooms.

Extremely helpful staff, absolutely tasty, rich and varied breakfast buffet, very comfortable beds, newly renovated room, tasty dinner, everything was great from A to Z. They even provided free access to a nearby swimming pool as well as very affordable (400 ISK) access to a top-notch gym in the swimming pool facility. Thank you again for everything!

Where to begin...the bar tenders in the attached bar were friendly and helpfully turned us on to the homemade pizza for dinner; the room was small but perfect; breakfast oh boy! The spread of food was astonishing, from the delicious pastries, bread and toasts to the splendid meats, cheeses, herrings, fresh fruits, cereals - the choices kept us coming back for refills. This hotel surpassed all imagination!

We were sad not to be staying one more night! We were very pleased with our stay.

Great location, facility maintained excellent,staff nice and professional, breakfast lots of variety, fresh. Particularly hotel provide complimentary swimming pool, sunna, hot tabs at the community center, great experience social and interacting with the locals. Ice land has the best public recreation services and facilities

Our room was very nice. Comfy bed so we had a great sleep. We saw the northern lights over the hotel from the car park. Check in was very quick and easy. The breakfast was very good, plenty of options. It's continental but a good one. The shower has great pressure i liked the tiles on the walls. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It has everything you want for your ring road journey. Value, comfy beds, views, location, great breakfast and friendly staff.

The window in the room could do with a lick of paint. That's all i had.

The hotel was OK. Quite basic with a smallish room, but decent. Located close to one of the museums. Has good restaurant on site and good breakfast. Staff is very accommodating and friendly.

Parking is not very convenient, location is not perfect, could be in a more quiet area.

Had a wonderful night at this hotel! Found it on the spur of a moment while driving the ring road and it exceeded expectations. If you are looking for a clean and easy place to stay for the night I would highly recommend.

Nothing to dislike, this place was great!

The room is a good size and pleasant; don't let the outside or corridors put you off. The breakfast is good, especially the little chocolate muffin things but we avoided the scrambled eggs. Parking is easy, and the hotel is easy to find. Wifi was good. This is a good base for exploring the East Fjords.

The shower didn't get very hot on the last morning, but was fine before that.
