We stayed in this property for a couple of nights. It’s a very large apartment even for a family of four and in an excellent location (right in front of the waters). The unit is quite well maintained. The owners communicated promptly and clearly to our questions before and after the stay. All in all, a good place to stay.
We had an unpleasant incident while leaving the apartment. The cleaning lady was very rude that we got 15 minutes late from scheduled departure time. We had been travelling a fair bit during our trip to Iceland and had checked into this apartment well past midnight. Kids were tired and got a bit late getting up in the morning of departure as we were out till late the previous night as well. So, this kind of behavior and inflexibility was not expected. Another minor point was that the shower area was too small despite the bathroom being large and there was hardly any space to move. Other than this, we had a good stay.

The beds are very comfortable, great to get a bed with a firm mattress. The bathrooms seem to be newly made and have a big mirror and enough space. The location is amazing. The rooms are spacious, if they add a small bench in the entrance area to put on shoes it will be nice :)
There was big noise everytime someone walked the metal stairs to the building. The rooms aren't soundproof and the curtains had to be kept always down since everyone walked past the room. Day curtains for sight protection would be helpful. There was no electricity outlet besides the desk, which made working impossible with the laptop. Sink in bathroom was clogged and bathroom wasn't completely clean.

Well, where do I start. We expected a standard double room, but were pleasantly surprised to have a whole stunning apartment. from entry to the time that we checked out, our jaws were on the floor. Large bathroom (although small shower), dining area for 4, large fully equipped kitchenette and huge sitting room with super comfortable couch and chairs. Large screen TV, big bedroom and comfortable bed. The best thing though was the view-staright onto the Neskaupstadur Fjord. We went for a meal and a local beer to Beituskúrinn-quaint and on the pier. Think its owned by the same proprietor as the hotel.
Well, I'd have to look for something that I didn't like.

We arrived very late at the hotel. The reception was already closed, but fortunately there was a phone number provided for a lady who helped us get inside. Waiting for us inside was a spacious apartment that had everything we needed for an overnight stay.
The only problem was the presence of some loud, inconsiderate guests who decided to party until morning. No one from the hotel intervened, most likely because there was no staff on site during the night.

Great view, personal in the reception were friendly and helpful, we had access to the pool and jacuzzi but did not try that. The location was great considering we were traveling around the island. We stopped in a supermarket on the way and the apartment was equipped with everything we needed in our stay. The size was more than enough for our group of five and it was also warm enough when we arrived. The best thing was the view from our balcony right to the sea.
Only bottle opener was missing but not a problem for us actually.

The person on site was very helpful in giving us our key. The view from our room was fantastic. There was lots of room and tons of great light in the rooms.
The key to our room was really difficult to use. It was one of those old fashioned keys with a rounded stem. After a six hour drive, we did not want to fiddle with getting the key in just right and handle our luggage. You also had to use the key to lock it from the inside. Had there been an emergency, I not sure how long it would have taken us to get out of the room.

Large living room, comfortable beds, excellent view! The apartment was very clean and well maintained.
We received a 10% discount for the Bait Shop restaurant, but was hoping to just be able to eat at the hotel restaurant, but the lady that checked us in did not offer that as a dinner option. Would have also liked to have been told about the Geothermal pool and other things to do nearby.

Well-equipped spacious apartment with a full set of kitchen utensils. Equipped with black-out curtains, which helped in Iceland summer. Special thanks to the hotel host who was very hospitable, cordial, and ready to help. Would definitely stay here once more. The breakfast was also OK — it was served in a different place, in the Cliff hotel. I was able to park the car on the street directly in front of the hotel.
A bath would be nice to have in the bathroom.

We stayed for one night on Sept 5. Very convenient location. It was a beautiful apartment with an amazing harbour view and Mountain View’s around. There was a supermarket, museum, fashion store etc right in front of it. Although the apartment was on the second floor, they helped us with our luggage. They guided us to a Geo Thermal pool close to their premises and it was complimentary from the Hotel. The apartment itself was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The awesomeness of this Hotel was mind blowing and we totally recommend it for a relaxing and peaceful stay.
No lift to carry the luggage onto the second floor

The hostess, the one from Spain, was probably the most helpful check-in person I've ever seen at the hotel. She was so genuinely helpful and smiled, and eager to help solve any issues and answer our questions. She even put her jacket, hat and gloves on and came outside up to our apt to show us how to lock our door (which we thought was broken). She should consider going into hospitality if she isn't already.
The apt was clean, the view was great, the restaurant was homey and cute, but the prices on food were a little steep. Okay... a lot steep, but not out of line with what a lot of other restaurants in the north of Iceland charge (And you thought Reykjavik food was expensive?). We went to the grocery store and bought our own food. I'm not going to pay $29 for a fish and chips.
