The Godwin a 10 minutes walk to the beach in either direction. While the road is VERY busy the Godwin is very quiet and consequently we slept really well. The bed was huge and comfortable and the sheets were very white. The room (308) was really spacious and we had a fan and a/c and ample hanging and storage space however the window was very small so the room was dark and we had the lights on whenever we were in and the balcony is tiny and too small for even a chair. The bathroom needs a make over, grouting was grey and tired and could do with replacing but it was serviceable and there’s a hairdryer and lashings of hot water; the shower consisted of a large walk in cubicle. Room servicing was good but a bit hit and miss consequently at times we had to ask for shower gel, loo rolls or towels but in fairness they were brought straight up. WiFi is a bit odd, we were given one code and passcode for each 2 items and this expired after a few days so we had to go through the process again, also as we had a phone iPad and kindle 2 codes each were needed. There’s a fridge which was nice and clean inside and lots of water was provided; there’s also a safety deposit box. Breakfast was good, there are always eggs either pre boiled/scrambled or made to order with a variety of Indian dishes, toast jams, cakes etc. we didn’t use the pool at all as the water was green the day we arrived so we thought we’d give it a Miss however the garden is very pretty. The staff were really lovely and very attentive, nothing was too much trouble and they are a credit to Godwin.

If you want an luxury resort in a great location then I highly recommend Godwin Hotel. Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms. Staff was so friendly and helpful, They also have a wonderful breakfast! Poolside area was the best part of this trip, Featuring an outdoor swimming pool with lush green garden. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. Front desk persons provide me all the information of local sightseeing and to do things. Complimentary tea /coffee is also provided at poolside in the evening.

In every way, the Godwin Hotel in Goa exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself is a work of art, with magnificent architecture and wonderfully groomed gardens. My room was large, well designed, and well-equipped with all modern conveniences. The meal at the hotel's restaurant was delicious, with a broad variety of exquisite items. The pool area was a calm retreat, ideal for unwinding and soaking up the Goan sun. The Godwin Hotel definitely gave a unique and memorable experience. I can't wait to go back.

We arrived 2.5 hours before check-in time. And the reception staff was extremely gracious to take in our luggage while we explored the area for brunch. Even during check-out, the reception staff guided us honestly and patiently with taxi booking to the airport instead of scamming us. The pool was clean, and the location allowed for enough privacy to spend quality time with friends and family in the pool. The staff has also been trained very professionally to make guests feel comfortable hanging in the pool area in swim wear without worrying about being stared.

Our room was spacious with tables and chairs. There was a Bath tub in the bathroom. Tea and water was included. There is a swimming pool, which very inviting in the hot summers. the staff were very helpful. The food when ordered via in room dining was good.

Breakfast was same boring food with not enough to choose from. The furniture could do with some upgrading..

Very relaxing stay and an excellent room with a balcony. Good choice of food at breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff and an excellent location near the shops and beach. I would stay here again.
