Location is perfect for the December season of music and dance performances in Mylapore and T Nagar. Rooms are comfortable and clean, and we appreciated the refrigerator as well as the fresh bedding each day. The bathroom was a highlight - not luxurious but definitely cleaner and more functional than the ones at the more expensive international chains on Anna Salai. Breakfast was reliably good, if a bit repetitive after a few days. Staff was generally very helpful, and we are eternally grateful for the housekeeping staff who found the passport and wallet we left behind in the room safe at checkout and gave it to the hotel administration for safekeeping.

At breakfast it was often difficult for the staff to stay on top of clearing/cleaning tables, and the poor ventilation in the restaurant left our clothes smelling like dosas and omelets. We learned to wear yesterday's clothes to breakfast and to change into clean clothes afterwards.

The hotel's reception staff and management are excellent. This is one of the main factors that made me return to Savera in December for the last 11 years. Most of the management team and staff, like ArunKumar, are very efficient, friendly and caring, I have known them from their young days at Savera and are like a great family.

A bit more modernisation of bedrooms and bathrooms could be considered.

Communication/ responding to email was very poor. I had a very bad experience despite paying airport pick up charges paid well in advance and to get confirmation of receipt of funds multiple follow up mails were sent and 2-3 phone I had to make. This is service industry and communication has to be quick . Hope this can be taken up internally and can be improved.

Enjoyed my stay at Savera hotel. Very very hospitable and super helpful staff all around the hotel. Right from check-in to check-out, it was all very smooth and prompt. The food at the restaurant Malgudi was so good and tasty. And the staff were exceptionally courteous and prompt. Rooms were very clean and very comfortable. Location is central and very close to most tourist spots in Chennai. Totally recommended 👌

The bed was large and comfy and AC worked well considering I went there in Summer. The shower was great too. Appreciate the location being close to some of the attractions. Finally, the brew room cafe on site was awesome.

The hotel is a bit old and it shows. The sockets do not accommodate UK or US devices. The elevators take too long sometimes.

The room is normal size adequate for couples, Breakfast is excellent with huge varieties and high Taste. Location is at the heart of the city accessible to all important places in chennai. Staffs are very friendly, helpful and responsive. Housekeeping is very good

Internet was horrible as it was a common network, the hotel has to seriously improve this as there is huge crowd always in the lobby present either for business or for events.

The room was spacious with the comfortable sofa, mattress and a working table. The breakfast was delicious with a wide spread and the dining area is quite big. The location of the property is convenient for city center and beach.

Due to metro project the access road to the hotel is not in good shape, but this is not an issue of the hotel authorities.

Great central location, staff were very courteous and service was quick. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety and was amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

The hotel itself looks a bit old but makes up for it in every other way.

Ambience, very friendly staff. I want to make a special mention about one cleaning staff (forgot to ask his name). On 18th June morning at 8 am I vacated my room and was waiting for my cab in the lounge . This person located me in the lounge and gave me my mobile charger which I have forgotten and left behind in my room. Please recognize his sincerity.

1) Coffee staff at breakfast adamantly stated they cannot get "dabara tumbler" for true south Indina coffee. Also even by 8 am breakfast coffee has an "old" flavor, coffee used to be good about 10 months again when we last visited
