Great location and exceptional service. The staff members were very courteous and the FO Manager (Mr. Sujith) was highly supportive and cooperative. We had food from the restaurant as well, which was delicious. Everyone was exceptionally helpful and friendly, always providing service with a smile.

The parking space in the hotel is very limited. Only 9 four wheelers can be accommodated at once. A couple of chairs in the room seemed in need of maintenance.

European/western style bathrooms, excelent cost to benefit ratio, and flexible staff This hotel had bathrooms with separate showers and toilets. For me, coming from Spain, this was a great shock to see that the norm in India is to have them together. The cost benefit was excelent. Clean rooms, big beds, extra beds, towels, toilet paper, soap, and shampoo for the price. Breakfast is also offered and great value. I ended up checking in late, at 23, and the staff was flexible and attentative to my request.

A super minor note about the communication. Talking in English was enough for the bureaucratic portion, but casual chatting was a bit of a struggle.

Cleaness

The room I’ve booked had very loud low frequencies noise, probably coming from ventilation or some sort and they offered me another room. The amount of noise was reduced, but still there even I turned off AC. Those who are sensitive to low frequencies noise will have trouble to sleep as someone wrote on the google map review.

Yes, the design is not the newest, but it created a homely feeling and this hotel felt much closer to a classic German hotel than all the others I've come across in India. The somewhat dated furniture contributes to this. The staff was also helpful, though I must say that I perceived the day staff as friendlier and more helpful than the night staff. All of them were a bit stiff, however. It was also the cleanest hotel I've come across in India so far.

There were again and again mosquitoes coming into the room. Either through the window, which couldn't be closed perfectly, or, more likely, through the ventilation systems and the AC. In total I killed 10 or 12 mosquitoes in three nights. The room is not very big. They should also buy larger bed sheets since they barely covered the entire mattress.

Breakfast could improve.

Stayed three nights and everything was great. Ate a couple og meals in the restaurant that were very good. The room was spacious and quiet, had a good bed and was clean. The staff were all friendly and polite, and I got great help in getting and paying for waiting list tickets on the train, no charge. Location was what I needed, close to trains and busses, gym, cinemas, a mall and plenty of restaurants. Not too busy street.

Nothing, but the location is not right next to the waterfront. I walked to the boats, no problem.

Central location, best place to stay in Ernakulam on a budget - equidistant to both main train stations while MG road is a 5-10m walk. All popular eateries, cafes, movies everything under 3kms !

The hotel should consider adding a soap dish in the bathroom and also the free toiletries should be made on demand, else the paper boxes get wet during bathroom use - making it redundant to use for another guest, if the current guest chooses not to use any.

Once again I had the distinct pleasure of staying at Hotel ABAD Metro on October 25th, and I must express that my experience was just as fantastic as my previous, more extended stay. I recently enjoyed a nearly 16-day stay from Sept 19th to Oct 5th, and I can confidently say that it was an unique experience. Right from the moment I arrived, the exceptional service provided by the front office staff, namely Mr. Rijo and Mr. Anoop, truly left an indelible impression. They were incredibly helpful, courteous, and attentive to all of my needs. Their warm welcome and unwavering assistance made me feel right at home . While the food options might have been somewhat limited, the quality of the food surpassed all of my expectations. I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to Mr. Sreejith for making my stay so memorable. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Cochin. Big enough nice clean room and toilet. Toilet was equipped with all required essentials like tooth paste, shaving kit, shower caps, shampoo, extra soaps, body wash and lotions of great quality. Had hot water and clean towels. The AC worked perfectly well. There was parking inside the compound which was was safe and convenient. Staff was very helpful and assisted well during check in and check out.
