The location was very central, so we didn't to go far to find things we wanted to do or see. The staff were excellent and attentive and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was wide ranging which gave us the opportunity to try many different food options.

Overall, the hotel felt as though it was still recovering from Covid lockdowns, when the hotel had to shut up shop. There were small irritations that seemed cheap, such as there were no tissues provided, and the A/C allowed you to set the temperature to 18 degrees, but only ever reached 21 degrees.

Staff were wonderful. Accommodated our requests at breakfast with non menu items and then Dinu at front desk was very accommodating with tending to our needs. Housekeeping was also so thoughtful and continued to leave extra bottles of water knowing that we needed them after asking just once. Rooms were spacious and exceptionally clean.

Rooms were a little on the dated side.

Breakfast was good with a good spread. The room was quite comfortable with enough space to move around. The location is also very convenient, Staff was accommodative and welcoming. Overall it is a good place to stay

The AC needs to be attended to; it is not very effective, and the Temperature adjustments did not work much. Dental Kits, soap, combs, etc. can be provided for two people since the room has been taken for double occupancy.

There was some discrepancy in the type of bed provided, two single beds were provided while we had requested for a queen bed. Don't know if this happened from Booking.com or the hotel's end. The hotel is a very good property. The rooms were large, well maintained and comfortable. Hotel location on MG Road is excellent. Complimentary breakfast had a good amount of Kerala dishes. Had good house food options like a snack bar. Staff were friendly and supportive. Thanks for a comfortable stay.

Spacious comfortable rooms with Excellent views of MG Road and beyond. The staff were extremely helpful. Restaurants in the hotel were excellent as was the breakfast buffet. Very good location. In middle of MG road, walking distance to Marine Drive. Away from tourist hustle and bustle in Fort Kochi, but very easy to reach there via taxi or Auto. Also easy to reach attractions around Kochi.

Wi-Fi in our room was poor and only intermittently functional.

nothing - unless you want to watch TV in English.

The most amazing staff! The manager was so friendly and helped us to in check into the rooms immediately after we just landed from Qatar.The food spread was fantastic and had widerange of dishes from continental to keratite. Also don't miss the Cocoa tree!

The Avenue Regent is an excellent hotel right in the middle of Ernakulam, on the main MG Road and walking distance from the Ernakulam South Railway Station and Metro station of the same name. A very tasty breakfast, a wonderful coffee shop called Coco Tree and a happening Bistro-Bar called Mezzo add to the excellence of the place. The breakfast had American, continental, local and pan-Indian options as a buffet in addition to freshly made, eggs of your choice, south Indian dishes like dosas and coffee and tea. There was milk shake and fruit juice in addition to a wide range of local fruit to choose from. Mezzo particularly impressed with its friendly attentive staff, delicious cocktails, wide selection of beers and wines and a wide range of local and international dishes to have with your drinks. There is a live DJ in the evenings belting out real funky music. The place is packed with young people enjoying a night out, clearly showing it hits the spot. The Coco Tree is very popular with locals as a lovely place to chill and unwind with family and friends and has an extensive menu of delectable cakes, puddings, drinks and cafe eats. The rooms are huge and shout old world space and comfort. No tripping over suitcases as one moves around the room. They are to best of my knowledge all double rooms and might all have twin beds. All rooms have huge windows that look out on the street scene below and do thecrooms are very light. There is a minibar (unstocked), safe, a kettle and a modern shower and toilet and the guest is not kept wanting for tea, coffee, sugar, sweeteners, mineral water and toiletries rooms are cleaned and made up daily and resupplied. Reception staff are friendly and willing to go the extra mile. They will keep you luggage safe for you after check out and depending on demand for rooms will allow you to delay check out for a few hours if you ask. Room rates are very competitive and give you more than value for money.

I write this not to answer the question but to make the hotel and other travellers aware so they factor this in to decision when chosing the hotel so that uncalled for negative comments are avoided! I loved the hotel!!! However, some travellers might expect a bell boy to bring luggage back to the room and set them up in the room. Further, as the hotel is on a busy road travellers must accept a fair bit of street noise and understand the hotel might not be able to do much about it. Maybe travellers might request rooms higher up and/or those situated towards the back of the hotel. As an Indian and a city dweller, the noise did not bother me as I am used to it!!!

Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was varied and delicious, and service was excellent here too. They were nice enough to provide a packed breakfast as we had an early journey the next day. Location is great, easy access to buses/metro. Room was kept clean. I will definitely stay here the next time I'm in Kochi.

No food from outside allowed inside, but there are plenty of great places to eat nearby.
