Breakfast was a decent spread and the staff helped get what was not on the menu . like omelet's & dosa's . Location was excellent as it was a walking distance to Avinashi road. Room was decent after I chose to exchange it for twin beds. However, the allotted room was not cleaned thoroughly. The fridge had remnants of the previous guests. After requests , sheets were handed and cleaning done. The room cleaning team was very good for the rest of the stay and ensured teh room was sparkling clean.

As mentioned above, a room check post the last checkout will ensure that no surprises greet the next guest.

What we wanted from the reliable chain. Professional, attentive and polite staff. Good room and all that's needed for a quiet nights sleep. Lovely large pool and decent gym too. Easy to get Uber from the railway station to it - seems a good central location. Thanks also for arranging our onward transport as we moved around India.

We ate in one of the restaurants which proved to be our most expensive meal in India. Fine food but prices at top end.

We stayed at Vivanta Coimbatore for three nights (Jan 17 through Jan 20, 2024). We were on vacation for the first time in India in a decade and we hadn't been back to Coimbatore in 25 years. This was a big trip for us as we had great hopes of reconnecting with dear college friends, close relatives, and the city of Coimbatore, which we did. Our wonderful stay at Vivanta Coimbatore in the central Race Course location just made our visit to Coimbatore a picture perfect trip! We truly enjoyed every aspect of Vivanta Coimbatore. Everything was exceptional—from the hotel's central location; to the room quality, cleanliness, and amenities; to the outstanding breakfast buffet; to the buffer and a la carte options for lunch and dinner; to the bar; and to the professionalism and hospitality of the staff in every department.  We want to shout out to some of the staff at the hotel's restaurant for their exceptional service and hospitality—Raj/Raja, Sudhakar, Mohan, the head chef, and the general manager. We also had lovely conversations with them and others at the restaurant. We also want to mention Karthik and Ibrahim from the housecleaning department. Unfortunately, we forget the names of a few others we received exceptional hospitality from, so in that regard, please kindly let ALL of your staff know how much we enjoyed our stay, and how much we appreciated their prompt services and superb hospitality. Bed and pillows were pretty comfy. Big thanks to the chef at In room dining for patiently accommodating our dietary needs. Every staff who served us from the various departments were polite and helpful. House keeping staff always served with a smile.

We specifically asked for a bed without gaps underneath since we stayed with cats that would hide there and ended up having to stuff pillows and duvets to close the gaps. One staff member from the front office, made me ride an elevator all the way to the 3rd floor and back, while knowing fully well that she didn't press the button to my floor... and even waved me away. When i expressed my displeasure, everyone else at the front office was apologetic except the said staff who actually seemed amused.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Taj Vivanta in Coimbatore, and it exceeded all expectations. The luxurious accommodations, impeccable service, and attention to detail made our stay truly memorable. Suresh from Housekeeping was an absolute delight ensuring our room was serviced on time and any requirements were promptly attended. The breakfast buffet too was an interesting and sumptuous spread. We were upgraded to an higher floor and a superior room to match our requirements with our fellow traveling friends.

The check in time was not adhered to and we had to wait for an hour to get our room, despite coming plone hour post our booked time. However they were very accommodating the next day to allow us a late check-out without any issues/additional requests. Overall nothing to complain about at all!!

We did not opt for breakfast. This place was value for money. We had a very comfortable stay. Will try to come here again if get a chance.

Clealiness levels, especially carpets. We did take few meals and found they were just good. Otherwise I can not find any deficiencies in their services.

Booked this Hotel for my stay in Coimbatore. This Hotel is listed as a 4 Star Hotel and it is not rightly represented. In fact, it should be up-graded as a 5 Star Hotel - given the personalised service by Lily and her staff at the Reception, and excellent presentation of the room. The Room Service was prompt and attended to by smiling and polite serving staff. Lily anticipates your needs - I just flew in from Chennai and as I checked in at the Service counter, Lily offers to send a cup of coffee to refresh and also as I was leaving the hotel at 5.00 am to catch a flight, she offered to pack fruit salad and sandwiches to go and they were kept ready at the Reception. Just based on the location, the presentation of the hotel itself and the rooms and the pool, and having caring and very friendly & polite staff, I strongly feel it should be graded as a 5 Star Hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, made our stay even more enjoyable Special thanks to the front desk team wasim&sheriff &pandi,for their warm welcome and assistance. Housekeeping staff were very efficient and kept our room spotless. All the staff were very courteous and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable.
