The Travel Desk in the lobby set us up with a great tour of the local sites. Our driver and guide delivered the perfect day for us, The Travel Desk staff was easy to work with and our entire stay was a breeze. The Restaurant Staff was great too. Bharti was an amazing hostess. I forget the other gentleman's name but the breakfast and dinner services were always excellent. Bharti deserves a raise. The bartender did an excellent job too. The Front Desk and Housekeeping staff were equally as warm and proficient at their jobs.

I liked my room but there was not really a comfortable chair to relax in. I had to sit in a desk chair if I was not laying in bed. The price of cocktails was pretty annoying especially since the hotel frowned upon bringing outside alcohol into the hotel. A gin and tonic, featuring less than 2oz of gin ran about $16 USD. The beers were fairly priced and a better value.

Spacious room, modern shower, and beautifully decorated historic interior. Tasty breakfast & dinner buffet. Friendly staff including check-in staff and hotel guards. They gave us the tour of the hotel, too, explaining the history a bit. One of the best hotels we stayed in India for the similar levels. Every evening, there was a concert and they refilled water daily. The location is close to the main station for trains to other cities, but we just used Uber and tours for transportation. Close enough to the center but not noisy to be in the center. My family was very happy with the hotel.

Room key didn’t get locked automatically multiple times and getting somebody to fix it took long time. Restaurant staff didn’t pay attention to people who used pre-paid buffet package, although we were still paying customers, but only to individual customers who order food & drink. Food was good though, changing daily.

The staff were all extremely helpful and polite and Shahpura House has a lot of old world character. The roof top restaurant plus pool were bonuses. It is situated on a quieter side street, very important in noisy Jaipur. Several smarter bigger hotels were on busy roads. We were in the Royal Suite and extended our stay. The room price was very good for a suite. We will be recommending to family I loved the hotel supplies a temporary free water hut outside in the hotter months for locals. This was a lovely feature across Jaipur.

The Shahpura house is a beautiful property in the heart of Jaipur. The building, the room, the pool, the staff, the service, basically everything was top notch. Let’s start with the reception, there is a young man at there (forgot his name) was very sweet and kind. Another young man named Gautam at reception is a very welcoming, helpful and professional. He gives a very good touch to an even more beautiful stay. The walk to the second floor rooms is nice as you see the gorgeous royal interior(no lift available). The room (double bedroom) itself has ample space with a living room area and curtains which separates it from the bedroom. Bathroom is spacious as well with beautiful intricate designs with marble and stones. There is a ground floor and rooftop restaurant Rasa with good buffet breakfast with many options from North Indian, South Indian and continental options. The staff who works there like Bharti and Kaluramji who work there are very kind and makes sure that all your needs are met. The cleaning staff is very efficient, one kind girl (forgot her name) from the cleaning staff tried to make sure everyday if we need it cleaned that really was very sweet and kept our room always clean and updated of all facilities. They also have a in-house bar which stays open until 12 I think. It has good drinks and a nice pool table. The swimming pool is pretty nice, not too big and not too deep either. We got to enjoy the swimming pool in the morning before checkout and we lost track of time but they didn’t rush us at all. All the services are provided by the Shahpura House, they even have in house tourism agency which can arrange your travels in Rajasthan or city tour or ride to the intercity airport. All in all, an exceptional stay and I only wish I could stay there longer. We will definitely be staying there again.

It is monsoon season in August so the outside of the hotel was clogged with water and getting a cab or auto was nearly impossible. It took us very long to find any means of transport to go around the city. Himmat ji at the reception could work on his English and hospitality skills a bit more.

Paresh and Gautam went above and beyond to assist us. They tirelessly coordinated with the airport authorities, provided constant updates, and ensured that our luggage was located and delivered to us promptly. Their dedication and willingness to go the extra mile turned a potentially disastrous situation into a manageable one. Their professionalism, empathy, and commitment to guest satisfaction are commendable. Thanks to Paresh and Gautam, we were able to enjoy the rest of our stay without any worries. We highly recommend Shahpura House for its beautiful ambiance and outstanding staff.

Shahpura House is not just a hotel, but a work of art with magnificent design, convenience and comfort for visitors. We were especially lucky that upon check-in, we were given a presentation of the hotel by Paresh, who professionally and with sincere delight told the story of Shahpur's house.The staff, rooms, restaurants, terraces, lounges, swimming pool, and evening entertainment programs of the hotel create an atmosphere of luxury for clients. I especially want to highlight the professional work of Paresh, who is a key employee of the hotel, possessing such qualities as organization, timely delegation and organization of service at the request of clients. In addition, many thanks to Paresh and Reet (Travel Agent in the Hotel) for their organized actions, as a result of which our family’s trip to Khadjuraho was not disrupted.

Our stay at Shahpura House in Jaipur was magical! We were a group of 7 female travelers on a yoga retreat and were thoroughly impressed with the hospitality. A special thanks to Paresh, who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was unforgettable. He managed everything for our morning yoga classes with exceptional care and attention to detail. Paresh's kindness, constant smile, and warm demeanor made our stay even more special. His efforts truly made us fall in love with the palace and its serene environment. Thank you, Paresh, for making our retreat perfect! Highly recommended for anyone staying in Jaipur and would like to experience a stay in a real Palace!

Breakfast was good. Staff was welcoming and polite. Big spacious and clean rooms top notch. Overall property is well maintained to give you maharaja like feeling. Kids friendly:)

List to avoid: Food is good but on expensive side. if you don't have breakfast covered avoid eating at restaurant Dinner buffet again is way too expensive and you will only like live performance there.

The building is stunning, the entire stay feels like it’s out of an old movie. The staff is very flexible and helpful. The Pool is beautiful and warm. Drinks selection is well stocked. Mattresses and bedding were very comfortable

No food or drink services after 12. No mini bar. Really unfortunate we can’t come back after a night at the Bazaar and have a glass of wine. The bathrooms in the royal suite were very good, but the deluxe bathroom left much to be desired.

Very traditional and iconic interior design. Very clean and comfortable. I used the pool after buying a swimsuit (early XX century style) and it was very clean and relaxing. Good and healthy selection of food at breakfast and dinner. Very comfortable atmosphere, great service and comfortable beds and room.
