This was a great little hotel with a really cute aesthetic in a central part of the city. We felt very safe and taken care of, and enjoyed both the breakfast and dinner. We also were able to ask staff questions about navigating the city, expectations of what the cost of local transport might be (rickshaws, etc.) and they were very helpful in answering our questions. Would recommend to all of my friends as traveling to Jaipur for a safe, affordable, and comfortable location.

We wish there had been more toilet paper in the room! But this is a cultural difference.

Breakfast was awesome. Lavish spread. Incredible variety and quality, excellent staff with prompt and accommodating service. Met and exceeded every expectation, especially the veg appam. Was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the flavor and presentation. Apart from that, truly the Heritage experience we envisioned. We adored being spoiled by the night staff, tending to our every need, some of the most colorful characters we’ve come across. The architecture and interior design alone blew our breath away. Would highly recommend and would wish to return in the future.

The hotel has a lovely feel to it, the room was very unique. Although small, the pool area is a nice extra. The food was lovely and the location was quiet. We had a driver who picked us up so we had no need to walk around outside. The breakfast had lots of choice.

Although advertised as a family room, the bed within the bay window was just a single. My children are 5 & 9 and did top and tale but any older and it wouldn't have worked. Our friends had older children and another single bed was provided which then eats into the space in the room. If I were to stay again, I would probably get 2 double rooms.

Umaid Mahal is Heritage style boutique mid size Hotel with intricate and decorative interior. It gives feel of living in Mahal of early days of Rajasthani Heritage. Each Wall is decorated with art work and open space have collections of Heritage items like Brass vase, with rose petals etc. Rooms are sufficiently spacious and have sofa cum bed to accommodate additional person. Rooms come with Air-conditioner which also have heater option. This was very useful as i travelled during cold season. Buffet breakfast is great and at Ala-carte Dinner, one should enjoy with Live performance of Rajasthani Folk artists. Overall great experience.

One of the best hotels we stayed at in our India trip! Convenient and quiet location. Incredible traditional architecture and wonderful Indian decoration. Gorgeous and spacious room with high quality furniture and very comfy and big bed. The staff was very attentive since the moment we arrive, but also very respectful and not intrusive at all. They allowed us an early check-in, they also allowed us to use the pool and take a shower before our night taxi ride to Udaipur too. Excellent food at the rooftop restaurant with good prices and talented Rajput artists performing as well. Abundant and delicious food for breakfast too. Everything was super clean. It was totally worth the price.

If you are lucky like us to meet the extremely friendly Super Salim, who is often waiting in front of the hotel for customers, do not hesitate to hire him as your rickshaw driver. It was easy to get a rickshaw with Uber from the hotel to any site in the city, but it was impossible to get one to return at night from the city center due to the crazy traffic. So book your transfer back to the hotel in advance to avoid problems in the evening.

EXCELLENT SELECTION THE ROOM VERY CLEAN , EVERYTHING WORK PERFECTLY THE DECORATION SET UP OF THE HOTEL IS REALLY SOMETHING TO SEE.. LOCATION IS VERY CONVENIENT WITH A SHORT TUK TUK RIDE .. IF YOU NEED ANYTHING JUST ASK THE FRONT DESK . LAUNDRY SERVICE CHEAP CONVENIENT AND QUICK

THE FAUCET WATER IS VERY TRICKY .. LEARN HOW IT WORKS IF NOT A WATER SPLASH .. SAD ..NO MUPPETS SHOW DURING OUT STAY .

This was definitely the best hotel we stayed in India! From the stunning decor and rooms, excellent food and superb staff, everything was perfect!! It was clean, comfortable and beautiful. We will definitely return! I want to give an extra thank you to Parma Bhatti who drove us around beautiful Jaipur and took us to all the best sights. Bhatti is always on hand at the hotel to book for a day or half a day at very honest, reasonable rates. He was polite, knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful.

Excellent choices for breafast. The food is really good. We had dinner too and there is a vast menu to order from.

This is not a hotel problem but getting Uber or Autos from the location had been a pain. The uber drivers will realise you are tourist and call you to ask for additional trips on top of what they accepted. If you say no, they cancel your trip. So you have no choice but to accept their higher rates or book through hotel. This is a problem in entire Jaipur.

We had a wonderful stay ( 4 nights/ 5 days ) @ Umaid Mahal & got friendly service support by their staff.... Location is very calm as it's in Bani Park residential zone, we believe. All prime tourist places can be reached easily from here, as we got Auto, Cab/Taxi @ any time, whenever we came out. Dr. Shah Clinic & Dr. Lal Path Lab are very close-by/ walking distance only, if/when we need medical support. Apart from Hotel Menu, we tasted South Indian food (IDLI/ DOSA) @ Collectorate Circle, which is just few minutes walking distance from Hotel.... In a nutshell, we had a memorable stay here. Thanks to all staff @ UMAID MAHAL.....

Though we booked cab ( from Airport to Hotel ) one day b4 our trip, Umaid Mahal travel desk head ( Mr. Bhatia ) failed to arrange pick up cab @ Airport....then we managed to reach Hotel through Airport CAB. Recommending travelers to pick cab from Airport upon your arrival. It'd be a great support ( particularly to foreign nationals) & sign of professionalism , if Hotel Management offer FREE PICK UP & DROP services from Airport to Hotel...

Very nice hotel in ideal location. Staff were very friendly and room was superb. The food in the hotel was excellent and after a long day sightseeing it was nice spending the evening on the roof top terrace with food and drinks.

We paid for 2 superior rooms and were told on arrival we had been upgraded. We realised that we hadn't been ....we had the room we paid for and the other room wasn't the same as we paid for.
