I had an amazing stay at this place. I lived at this place for a month and over the period fell in love with this place. First thing to note is that this is a house which has been repurposed into a hotel which gives you a very homely feeling.there is a temple on the ground floor which adds to the charm. The location is wonderful. the staff is extremely courteous and I felt very safe and secured.most of the staff have been working there for years so that should tell you something. The rooms are nice and room service was excellent. Whatever you need they get it within minutes. Everyday they'll clean the room, change towels etc.the wifi was a little weak at the beginning but then they mostly fixed the issue but it was a no brainer because mobile data is extremely cheap in India. Whenever I come back again to Kolkata without a doubt I would like to stay at this place again.Also to add the included breakfast is really good. They have variety everyday like pav bhaji, aloo Parantha, chole bhature, sandwiches, puri sabzi. At this price this place is a absolute steal. my thanks to the owners and the management for doing a wonderful job. Thank You!

Breakfast was home cooked. i travelled as a tourist and was out during the day time and used the place mostly for sleep during night. it was very calm and quiet. The price was very good for the quality being provided.

The bedsheets, towel floor mat could have been better. They also could have provided a small working table. I didnt had local telephone card and to obtain a new connection a local contact was necessary and the hotel could not provide me one.

Simple, value for money. Located near Shakespeare sarani, situated on top of mira mandir added something special. Decent Indian breakfast.

Initially were offered a very low quality room, replaced with a satisfactory one. Laundry service excluded woman's under garments. Shortly after providing the booking.com pin at the reception's request, a review was posted in my name. Staff claimed the pin was required by the treebo chain. Had that post canceled. Makes you wonder over the relevance of the reviews for this property.

The hotel has a serene quiet atmosphere. The Mira mandir gives it a special aura. The corridors are brighly painted pure white, well lit and provide a bright cheerful and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are very helpful and service is very prompt. The hotel is located in an area full of schools, is very safe and is fantastic value for money.

My only minor criticism is the limited breakfast menu with mostly deep fried items such as batura and poori. South indian items such as idli and dosa, poha, upma etc. would help for a healthier menu.

Locatio and , property very peaceful and serene with Temple in the ground floor. Good room service and upkeep. Food provided at extra cost with courteous service. Best suitedfor pure veg family. Centrally located with plenty of private taxi plying nearby. US VISA Center is at walkable distance.

Great location, spacious, clean rooms. Very friendly staff and they make sure that the same standards are maintained on a daily basis. Good complementary breakfast.

It was amazing experience at hotel. It was my first time in kolkatta and was smooth experience. Staff was very supportive. There is a temple inside hotel so atmosphere was so amazing that I did not feel I am away from my home.
