The Beachfront location is fantastic. We could even hear the waves of the ocean from our room. Five stars for the Food. The butter chicken and baby corn curry are worth trying. Staff are very friendly and hospitable. Maju and Parveen were wonderful in their service. Very polite people and always ready to serve. Manager Deepu sir was a kind person and very cooperative. Even the cleaning staff were very friendly and we could mingle with all in no time. The spacious bathroom (Open roof shower) was a highlight. The pool was amazing because of the shade. Amazing place for families.

Seclude Kerala, Marari Sands is a peaceful haven once you have arrived at the resort. Just a dozen bungalows, a stone's throw away from a beautiful, clean beach surrounded by lush green. The food was excellent (the best butter chicken I ever had), and the service was outstanding. Nadeem and John did everything to make our short stay perfect. Kerala's famous backwaters are nearby, and the boat trip through the canals was another highlight.

Many crows were in the trees above the sunbeds, which were sometimes noisy and annoying. The resort does not serve alcohol, but you can bring your own.

Staff was amazing! Especailly Nadeem and Sanju! They helped us get cabs, book backwater kaya, and shikara trips around the area. They were super accomodating for all the needs for our large 12 person party. We could ask them for off the menu food and they would purchase it from the local fish market so we could have all sorts of amazing dishes since we'd tried everything on the menu. They let us buy beer and keep it in the fridge since they don't have a liquor license. The staff is the heart of the operation and will ensure you have a fantastic stay. The facility itself was located right on the beach with nice hammocks and a pool. Besides the pool, beach, and pool there's not too much to do, so be ready to just relax and read a book or go on local excursions.

Wifi is pretty much unusable, so don't expect to get any work done.

Absolutely adore this place. I was here 6 years ago and the ambiance has not changed which is what was so attractive in the first place. Amazing location right on the beach and the Manager, Deepu and his team cannot do enough for you. They looked after us brilliantly and we did not want to leave. In fact we extended our stay a couple of times as we would have been heartbroken leaving this gem of a place.

The location is truly amazing, you are really at the beach. The beach is very nice and quiet, with warm water and some palm trees for you to relax in the shade. The food at the restaurant was very tasty and the staff was helpful and welcoming. I recommend this property for a relaxing time at the beach.

If you are traveling by taxi, the property is not on a main road so make sure your driver can pick you up from the hotel and not the main road. (I did not have this issue, but if you consider using Uber keep this in mind). Due to the constant power outages, the Wi-Fi was constantly being reset, so don't rely on it too much (the communication with reception is made using WhatsApp, so consider buying a local SIM for internet if you are visiting from abroad).

The swimming pool is excellent and the rooms are very clean, modern and beautiful. The surroundings are very quiet. The dining area is very nicely situated with good food. The beds at the beach are nice and have shade from the trees.

The roomrent and dinnerprices are too expensive for what you get. Not much to do or shop in the direct surroundings. Crows make an annoyingly huge amount of noise in the trees at the beach.

We have fantastic experience staying at Seclude Marari sands . This hotel is not extremely big and personal is so friendly that you feel like being at home. We rent villa which is rather private. And of course I should say a few words about restaurant which gives you an opportunity to enjoy seeview and moreover food is fantastic, we can definitely recommend both Indian cousin and European. Prawns were amazing.

Seclude Kerala is a true hidden gem. a very small hotel, with only 8 bungalows only steps away from the beach. The way to the hotel is a bit difficult, streets going into the nowhere but once you arrive, the hotel is really a small little paradise. the resort is kept very simple, consisting of the reception, some bungalows and one restaurant on the beach where you get breakfast, lunch and dinner served. This hotel is definetel a cheaper option to other high price resorts at the marari beach. They arrange yoga classes with a local yogi (500INR per hour) and massages for you. the staff is so helpful and supportive all the time. We booked breakfast and dinner and we are really glad we did. the food was AMAZING. huge variaty for breakfast and fresh fruit juice. also the dinner was one of the best we had during the whole trip! just be aware, that the hotel does not offer alcohol, but you are welcome to bring your own beer or wine. They even cool it for you. what a service!! The beach is quite and very clean! We went swimming in the sea every day! the sunbeds are a bit older but very comfortable. The rooms are huge wth AC and an own refrigerator. also the bathroom was very big and clean. Overall very nice room with own terrace and comfy bed. we didnt miss anything!

The pool is not super clean and welcoming, thats why we didnt use it once. Might be because it was off season. There are some stray dogs running around on the beaches, obviously needing help since they are either undernourished or injured. very friendly and calm dogs. I would wish, that the locals would care a bit more about these little sweet creatures.

Steeply shelving beach with rough waves, not safe for young kids/non swimmers. Lot of plastic/rubbish washed up. Not a fault of the hotel, all along the beach here. Not much going on in the immediate vicinity.

the rooms and bathroom were beautiful. although the large shower did not work properly (Villa 102), but this was not a problem really given everything else.!

the cost of the food is so overpriced and unnecessary. the guests are already paying a huge amount for their stay there, you’d hope that the menu and additional services wouldn’t come as such a surplus given everything else… the dogs there are skinny and starving - please feed them..! it’s so upsetting to see, especially on such young puppies.
