We stayed at The Westin Mumbai from 15th to 17th August to celebrate my mom’s birthday belatedly, and it turned out to be truly special. The team went above and beyond by arranging not one but two lovely cakes—a fruit cake and a black forest—which were both generously sized and delicious. A big thank you to Shriati for this thoughtful gesture that added so much warmth to our celebration. The Lake View Room was beautiful as always, but what truly stood out this time was the remarkable improvement in both food and service compared to my last stay. Every meal at Lake View Café was excellent, with great variety and taste. Special thanks to Gurinder and MP for making our dining experience memorable—MP ensured we had comfortable seating with a great view, which was especially thoughtful for my mom. Check-in and check-out were smooth thanks to Shree and Kamlesh. Overall, this stay felt like a major upgrade from my previous visit. The attention to detail, warmth of service, and focus on food quality made it a memorable experience. I’m glad I chose The Westin for this special occasion.

I had an excellent stay at Hotel Lake View Westin, Mumbai. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to receive an upgrade to a room in the new tower, which made my experience even more special. A special mention to Samson at the reception, who was incredibly welcoming and made the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. His warm hospitality and professionalism set a great tone for my visit. The facilities, ambiance, and dining options were excellent, making it a stay to remember. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mumbai and look forward to returning!

The restaurant staff were friendly but missed a few items on multiple occasions. The rooms were a bit disappointing with some dirt, mould in the shower, and definitely in need of a refresh.”

The size of the hotel, the great leisure facilities pool etc, the fantastic views across Powai Lake. Exceptional restaurant staff who went out of their way, both breakfast and evening meal, to make sure my needs were met. I would definitely stay here again. The size of the room, and it’s comfort ensured I had serene undisturbed sleep during my stay.

The two things I think could be improved from my personal point of view, especially bearing in mind the size of the hotel: More comfortable and greater lobby seating. It’s a busy hotel, but stone benches don’t do it for me. After a day out I like to chill for a while in a comfortable lobby space to unwind. This hotel does not have this. Secondly I found the arrangements for pre-dining drinks poor. One bar, plus a few bar stools. Whilst there are other tables nearby, they are all made up for restaurant dining, so not conducive to a needed chill & relax before dinner. A proper bar is required.

The buffet breakfast was outstanding, staff around the hotel were courteous and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and we got a great night's sleep.

A few items in our room were missing....only one teacup, limited teabags, no body lotion in the bathroom dispenser. Trying to get the TV to stay off was challenging, we had to get someone to the room to help with that. The photos on the website were somewhat misleading ....the bed on the lakeside...it wasn't possible to get that close to the lake which was the other side of a wall. There was a large conference, the delegates seemed to take over the majority of the shared spaces. The staff were rather over zealous when we just wanted to see if the spa had any openings; nor did we want to shop in the "local artisan" shop but the staff made it hard to decline by continually trying to tell us what to do.

Location was great - overlooking Powai lake. Close enough to Airoli for work - a taxi takes about 20-30 mins in an uber to Airoli and was a similar time to the airport (30-40 mins). The breakfast was very good, with lot's of choices - both traditional Indian as well as European options. Similarly, dinner options were great - we dined in Lake View Cafe for most of our stay. I had stayed at the hotel previously when it was the Renaissance and pleased to say a lot of the hotel is the same as before (which was excellent). The gym is good and has a decent amount of equipment - including treadmills, weights, machines etc. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, we also found it very easy to get an Uber if you have to go into the city. The room itself was very comfortable, and I had a view overlooking Powai lake which was very nice. There is a pool area which is great for cooling off in the Mumbai sun, however it would be great if you could order drinks at the pool instead of going inside to the Cafe - this is a minor point. Overall, a very comfortable stay and I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Sometimes staff were either too busy to deal with requests or forgot - we had a few occasions where we requested something but then it never arrived. I know the staff were busy, and it was often resolved once we prompted them. Unfortunately the Italian restaurant (Fratelli Fresh) has now closed and this was currently under construction, the Asian restaurant was nice but is quite expensive. It would be good to have a few more dining options within the hotel - although the Lake View Cafe was very nice.

Great location for this trip with business meetings in that very area. Great facilities (gym, restaurants etc) and a huge outdoor pool! Great breakfast. Very helpful staff. All in all the service was very good indeed

The room was OK, but starting to look somewhat tired. Cupboards, carpets, fittings etc would benefit from some TLC...:)

Very friendly and helpful staff from first arriving until final departure. I like the bar and restaurant and was very comfortable in the evening.

Election week means that I could not have a beer in the evening. I would hope that there could be concession for non-voting guests. The warm Indian climate is greatly helped with an evening beer. The view from the room was Pipeline road. I would have preferred a lake view.

The location, close to the airport and close to Poway, the generous space of the hotel, the rooms, the garden and the swimming pool. The staff is very nice and the breakfast was very good.

I came about 20 times to this hotel between 2015 and 2019 and liked very much the Italian restaurant Fratelli, which unfortunately disappeared , as well as the bar on the ground floor.
