The property is in a very nice location and the view is amazing, the staff are like 5 star hotels once which really care about people, the room to dining area travel is by buggy vehicle you call the reception and they send the buggy for you

Sometimes there is no gps or mobile connect which makes it difficult to navigate to this place, there are name boards point locations in certain places, but even if you miss one point you are lost in the valley, especially if its night its pitch black and the valley roads are not that great and quite steep as well with pot holes, it is a nightmare. the check out is at 11 am i was told but in booking.com it is mentioned as 12 pm; and there was a mad rush to send people out since it was the peak season which was not great.

It was beautiful and relaxing. The views were beautiful and we took short walks and saw the amazing fields of tea trees. There was always a breeze that made the temperature quite comfortable even in hot days. Our room was delightful with view of the mountains. The air is clean and fresh. The property has many places to sit and relax and read in the shade. The swimming pool is very inviting as well. We also like the restaurant, which has indoor and outdoor seating. The best thing about this place is the staff, friendly and always responsive. They were always ready to know what we wanted and what we needed. It was sad to leave them and the beauty of the property and the area. We could have add more days to our three night stay!!

We liked everything.

The location. I bet nothing can beat this location. I always choose places to stay very carefully because I don't like crowds and noise. This place is exactly what I wanted. It's located on a remote hill at Pothamedu,, so you don't have to enter the chaos of Munnar town. The building gives an old British architectural vibe. The staff were very courteous and ready to help anytime with your requests. The dining area faces a garden and the mountain, I should say this is one of my best "breakfasts with a view" after Sikkim and Arunachal. The food is really really delicious - recommended to try their fish mango curry and beef kochulli perattu with steamed rice or ghee rice. Absolutely loved it. The infinity pool faces the valley. Everything about this resort is serene and peaceful. Oh and last but not least, do try out the Ayurveda spa if you have enough time. It's so relaxing and rejuvenating. The cherry on top is the view point facing the valley. The greenery, the clouds, the bird songs. No other place like this that brings peace to your soul. ❤️ I am definitely going to come back to this place.

There is nothing that I DIDN'T like. However, I would suggest to keep some paper napkin pulls and a cloth drying stand inside the rooms, since most of the people prefer in room dining and almost all of them will definitely take a dip in the swimming pool.

Really magical place. Tremendous building with uninterrupted views as far as the eye can see. Spotlessly clean with beautiful grounds. Only open for a few months at its current level of offering. Staff are enthusiastic. Nice touches such as campfire and dawn trek. Lovely shower. The infinity pool is incredible, and the statue overlooking it is a bold choice which works beautifully with the view.

Communication prior to arrival was a little bit complicated. I had tried to book directly using the WhatsApp provided on their website, but the delays in responding were significant, I ended up booking via booking.com. But overall it really is a wonderful resort, I would recommend to all.

The location is beautiful, with amazing views of the valleys. The views from the pool are also very nice. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast and dinner buffet was tasty and had good variety. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. They arranged cabs for sightseeing and airport transfers, making the trip more convenient.

As mentioned in other reviews, the location is a bit far, but it's worth it for the views. If you are traveling with a baby, please note that baby cots are not provided, and wheelchair/pram accessibility is limited in some areas. You’ll need to climb stairs to reach the restaurant and pool. A little more attention to cleanliness would be helpful, especially for items like sofa cushions. The biggest downside is the lack of mobile signal in the rooms. I had to go to the reception area every time I needed to make a call. However, the Wi-Fi is reliable if you can manage with just that.

Le Montfort provides an exceptional mountain view and offers a comprehensive range of indoor and outdoor activities both for adults and children. The tranquil atmosphere and the breath taking misty morning views made the stay unique. The staff, including Rakhi, Greeshma, Jithu, Aby, Abhi, Anjana and Hanima, provided consistently friendly and hospitable service, beginning with a warm welcome at reception. A special thanks to Amal for his service. The infinity pool is a highlight, and the complimentary trekking excursion enhanced the overall experience. The food is exceptional. There was no network coverage in the premises but you can rely on their wifi.

The property was super beautiful and very well renovated. It had a crazy view of the mountains and hills of Munnar and really felt you were in a nature oasis. The staff was very kind and attentive, especially Grishma, who was always there to help throughout our stay. She was always happy to arrange tuktuks to Munnar, give us recommendations, etc. The decor of the resort was very stylish and everything was well maintained and clean. We found the room rates to be very fair, great value for money for sure. The breakfast was very good and had loads of both local and western options. We were there for a wedding that was held at the resort and it was really the perfect location!!! The venue came to life and everything was very well organized.

Set in a stunning location with incredible views and lovely local walks. The hotel offers a guided morning walk and bonfire sessions with dancing and singing which were both good fun. There's a pool - which is unheated so it's a refreshing dip! Restaurant offers a buffet when the hotel is full or an a la carte choice when it isn't. Special shout out to the lovely chef who cooked my breakfast masala dosa - was fantastic!

The price of the stay was pretty hefty compared to other hotels we'd stayed at and there was a lot of noisy building work going on in the grounds of the hotel which we weren't aware would be happening and took away from the tranquility of the place. Our friends room was damp and they got lots of mosquito bites the first night. Staff did resolve the problem and move them when we let them know. There's no bar - like most places in the area. It feels like the hotel has much potential but hasn't quite reached the 5 star mark.

I would say the location of the resort is the best with a very calm, breath taking and serene natural beauty. The resort was infact beautiful with all amenities for a joyful stay. The staff are really helpful and addressed and solved the concerns highlighted. Restaurant service was also very good. Only thing to keep in mind is to not to believe Google Map as it can direct through the very dangerous route especially if you are driving in the night.

The entrance gate could be better with the name of the resort on it so that you don't get confused. Also, more evident route guidance on the road can help those travelling for the first time.

From the moment we arrived, we were filled with excitement and happiness. The property is truly a haven, with exceptional facilities even at such a lofty location. Outdoor sports like badminton, football, cricket, and basketball kept us engaged, while the expansive open spaces provided a perfect setting for leisurely walks, cycling and enjoying the mesmerizing sunrise and sunset views. The infinity pool was genuinely infinite—blending seamlessly with the spectacular surroundings. Our room was warm, cozy, and inviting, featuring a beautiful porch and balcony. The highlight was the private jacuzzi in our room, which added an extra touch of luxury to our stay.
