It’s in a bustling working area of Delhi off the Main Bazaar Road. It’s tucked away in what is a maze of alleyways which are not for the faint hearted. It feels like real Delhi rather than tourist Delhi.

It was authentic Delhi. Rough, a bit dirty and rundown but an experience for that. I wouldn’t recommend this place for solo female travellers as there are a few shady types who hang out outside the hostel and the entrance is in a maze of dark alleyways. It was very noisy with traffic and neighbours late into the night.

-Very central location near New Delhi Railway and Metro Station made public transport very accessible. Especially the Yellow Line (Metro) is useful for daytrips to tourist sites such as Chandni Chowk, Red Fort, Hauz Kas, Asian Games Village or the Lodi Colony. Also staying near the Main Bazar Rd gives you lots of options with regard to souvenirs and food (Rattan Vaishno Hotel near the Railway Station was my favourite). -Supply of towels and toilet paper (Western toilet) were a Plus -Staff was very friendly and attentive

Bed sheets and the room itself were clean, the bathroom could have had some more attention. Overall cleanliness about average to good by Indian standards.

I actually stayed at the hostel's sister site in Delhi after arriving at the wrong location. However, the staff were super helpful and sorted the logistics with ease, so I could get rested after a long night/day of travelling. Overall, I experienced a great stay at the Hindustan by Backpackers Heaven. The dorm room was super clean with personal lockers and bed fans. The staff were really helpful, and I felt they genuinely cared about making sure my time in Delhi as good as possible. Would recommend to any backpacker visiting the city, especially for the first time as it's super close to the metro station and other major sightseeing spots.

Despite being in a hectic area, the hostel is very comfortable and felt like a safe space amongst the craziness. All staff at reception are lovely, especially mr Manoj - he is very attentive and always willing to help! Not your typical ‘hostel’ vibe but its centre of Delhi, met lots of cool travellers and the location is super central.

Pretty noisy outside - but again, what can you expect in this area?

They were doing some repairs on the hotel by the time of my booking. So i was given a room in another hotel which doesn't look like the pictures but it was ok. Room was clean, no loud noises, good running shower and there was hot water also.

This hostel has been consistently reliable! The private rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable for a few days stay. We ended up back here multiple times throughout our trip… the staff have been beyond hospitable with every return. Location is central- very close to New Delhi station and Connaught Place, so you can get anywhere in Delhi. Recommend!

The reception staff were very welcoming and helped us with several queries we had including getting IPL match tickets delivered to the hotel.

There is nothing specific that I disliked, the level of service is at the upper end of what I would expect for the price.

Great Hostel with super amazing staff.Has got all the basic facilities which one traveller needs for a comfortable stay. And they helped me book my train ticket with no extra cost which is very difficult to book with your international card. Thanks

In middle of bazaar , small ally and then you arrive backpackers heaven , amazing stay thank you so much for looking after me . And picking me up on time at the airport was fanatic , as single female arriving 3 am to country with billion people , you guys made sure I arrive safely thank guys
