This hotel is perfect if you want to stay close to the market and don’t mind the hustle and bustle, the rooms are fantastic, beds very comfortable, excellent AC, TV and mini fridge and the balcony areas are great as well, restaurant Bistro 55 a few doors down is exceptional *pre-book Uber as traffic is hectic *always a Tuk Tuk available *pre-order coffee from room in the mornings to drink at the restaurant/Balcony *Wheel your own suitcases to/from Uber - men out front do not work for hotel and expect big tips *pay for food / drinks when you order so as no unusual charges at the end of your stay *Market is fantastic - can find anything and everything from food, henna tattoos, clothing, bags, shoes and several pharmacies *yes there are lots of beggar’s, just ignore them and they will leave, otherwise offer to buy them food

To protect yourself ensure to read the google reviews and be cautious when ordering food or using the minibar. Cautious with money - you’ll understand some of the complaints, however I truly loved this hotel

We loved the food; it was delicious. The room was clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Overall, this hotel met our expectations. They even provided a free printout of our passports, offered good guidance, helped us exchange money, arranged a city tour (which we couldn’t join due to time limits), and organized a taxi for our airport drop-off.

I think the staff missed placing a spoon at the tea/coffee making area, and the shower could have been improved for better comfort. Also, one staff member brought food directly into our room without permission, but the other staff did not enter the room.

The hotel building is well ventilated. Nice garden area and terrace for breakfast, and the best part is that they have spacious rooms, very good staff members as well as very nice chef (day time) who cooks very nice food and also can add the flavor you wish to request. The staff at the reception (Mr. Arif) is a nice person who provides good info, and make the things available asap upon request.

Everything was nice for a comfortable stay, though if a closet/cupboard is also provided in the room would have been much convenient for the guests who would stay more than 1 day.

We had a really nice time at the hotel. The food was amazing, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Everyone—from the reception to the room service and even the guy at the entrance—was always smiling, which made us feel really welcome. The prices for the rooms and food were fair, and I’d definitely recommend this place to others.

The taxi service was overpriced (INR 2000 for a ride that should’ve been about INR 500). It was hard to communicate with room service. The bathrooms were clean but a bit old. A little extra cleaning and an upgrade would be nice. The lobby wasn’t very comfortable since it’s open to the parking lot, which made it feel a bit stressful.

I wanted to access a computer for an urgent matter during my stay ( I didn't take laptop with me). They were truly helpful to me and provided me the opportunity to use the computers at the reception desk. Also when I asked for a place to take a prinout (just 2-3 pages), they said that they will do it for me at the reception. Very helpful staff, friendly, welcoming and truly supporting not just showing off. Location is very close to Janpath market, connaught place and palika basar. I specially recommend this for the people who wanna do shopping in Delhi and visiting VFS global. Actually I have many things to appreciate about them. In my next visit to Delhi, I will definitely stay there. Earlier I was in another hotel and it was terrible then I moved to this hotel (For 4 nights).

Not a single negeative point to say about

Finding accommodation in Delhi was quite challenging, especially when it came to trusting online reviews, so we were a bit apprehensive at first. However, this hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was clean, with 24/7 hot water, a comfortable bed, and no noise from the street. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was varied and served on the rooftop, offering a great start to the day. We also appreciated the convenience of being able to leave our luggage after check-out. The location was excellent, on a good street with easy access to everything we needed. Another plus was the 24/7 check-in. Overall, a fantastic stay—we would definitely return!

CHECK OUT TIME IS BEING MENTIONED AS PER BUILT IN SOFTWARE . WHEN GUEST IS CHECKING OUR HOW CAN BILL MENTION ABOUT CHECKING IT OUR ON NEXT DAY. EVEN THOUGH I HAD TO CHECK OUT AT 3.00PM HAD TO PAY FOR 24 HOURS IF SOME CONCESSION IS GIVEN MAY BE 12 HOURS CHARGE . IT WILL BE VERY NICE ON PART OF THE HOTEL. SOME STAFF WHO ARE DOING THE ROOM SERVICE ARE TOO DISTURBING AND FEEL NOT PROPERLY TRAINED AND SOME TIMES A BIT SCARY WITH THEIR CONVERSAIONS

The Grand Uddhav is a hotel that makes the stay comfortable, peaceful, and like home from home for travelers. The staff is always ready to help with their friendly and efficient service. The room is perfectly clean. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner are delicious. Reception is helpful and always pleasant. When travelers leave, they think... Thank you for everything!!! Best thing about Grand Uddhav is it's staff. All are welcoming and friendly. They will attend promptly to your requests. Special mention to Amith from the rooftop restaurant and Ashok from lobby baggage handling. I loved my stay at Grand Uddhav. If you are Sri Lankan going for VISA interviews, I highly recommend this hotel.

Its located in a busy market road. Much noisy during day time. But if you want to experience the life of vendors, this location is ideal. For me, I experienced a lot.

We reserved dulux double room and room was superb with air conditions. Coffe packets, toilatories, mini fridge items available with the room. Food was also good and we didnt experience any after effects as well. The hotel is providing air port taxis at INR 700. They have money exchange facility for USD and EUR. Staff is also very helpful and good.

There is a leakage in the bathroom floor and informed to the hotel. They inspect it and said that it was main sink water but it seems to me that leakage from some other place. But it didnt effect us too much for our stay. Inside of the hotel is good but located in very busy and unclean street. So always recommend to go outside of the hotel with uber. Sometimes uber guys dont come to hotel due to busy street. So if you use the tuk, rikshaw pls use them after inquiring the price.
