It’s my 3rd time in Delhi and I always choose to stay in this hotel. Its location is perfect for me, right in the middle of Chandni Chowk and Jama Masjid. This area is the perfect introduction to any first time visitor to India. It’s so historical and colorful. Almost every popular Indian food can be found here. Veg at Chandni Chowk and Non-veg at Jama Masjid. You will love all these food especially the street food in Chandni Chowk. The hotel has a nice rooftop with a great view of Jama Masjid and Red Fort, both walking distance from the hotel. The nearest subway station is Lal Qila (3-minute walk) and from here you can go to the many attractions around Delhi. This hotel has good wife and good in-room food menu. :)

occasional noise from room renovations but nothing major

This hotel should have some appeal for a certain type of savvy traveler (less suitable for the dainty or the squeamish). If you’ve stayed in Paharganj, and are over it, this may be your cup of tea. The hotel has a very clandestine feel. It is located toward the end of a narrow dead end ally in the cycle mart. Bicycle tires are stacked high just a few feet from the front door. Around the corner men are sitting on the ground assembling bicycles and lacing wheels. Don’t be put off by the dingy sign for the hotel at the front of the ally. My room seemed to be newly renovated, the shower was hot, and the bed extremely comfortable. The staff was highly responsive and helpful. Room service is available 24 hours and a roof affords excellent views in all directions of some the most iconic buildings in Delhi.

There was some noise during the day, probably due to ongoing renovations. This is probably on me for failing to request a non-smoking room, but there was an ashtray and a faint stale smoke odor when I first arrived. You’ll certainly fine some places to eat, but not the plethora of dining options of some other neighborhoods.

I stayed at this hotel about 12 years ago for the location, great location for Old Delhi. All staff were friendly and very helpful. Elevator, a nice rooftop view. Good room service, and good food. Good WiFi. I would return again for the location, staff, and price. Daniel- USA.

The neighborhood around the hotel is not the best, I assumed it was safe and had no issues even at night. Don't expect hot water in the shower or sink, warm at best. No room/maid service unless requested, I was there 4 nights.

Great location in Old Dehli, close to the Red Fort and markets. Staff were fantastic and willing to offer any assistance needed. Hotel has a restaurant which is handy. Our breakfast was included and there was a choice of western or several Indian breakfasts. All were great. We also had dinner there one night and again great local food. The service was fabulous too. A table all to ourselves on the rooftop.

Was a bit noisy, also renovations were going on so a bit dusty.

Helpful, friendly staff. Clean room. They tried to fulfill our needs even amongst their refurbishment.The staff walked us to our taxi as the hotel is located in an alley. We felt safe. Beds are comfortable. I am sure that it will be beautiful again when the work is finished. Lovely views.

We missed the restaurant and rooftop because of the refurbishment going on. We took a deep breath from the taxi when we saw the alley entrance as this was our first visit to Old Dehli, but it was just fine.

Great value for money. Easy access to the shops. I was surprised at how clean my room and bathroom were. I would definitely book them again in the future. Staff are friendly and helpful. Complimentary tea and bottled water would have been a bonus.

They are renovating so lots of banging which was disturbing but overall experience was very good.

This hotel is in simply fantastic spot near Chandni Chowk. The views from the roof are spectacular, across the fairground to the Red Fort, right to Jama Masjid, left to a Jain temple and a Hindu temple. The vegetarian food is delicious and the staff are great. It was our third stay here.

Some rooms are being renovated. No problem but worth noting

The location in the Old City meant we were right in the thick of things, and it was also close to the Metro line. There was a rooftop where we had breakfast every day except when it was drizzling. Good local breakfast. Used my thongs (flipflops) in the bathroom, and they also supplied, so not sure if needed to. They had a lift.

The electricity was attached to the keyfob so only on when in the room, including the fridge. The hot water was turned off at night, often before they said it would be - cold showers most days.

We have stayed here several times before because the location is great for visiting the old Delhi area. Of course this area would not suit everyone. Access to coffee shops, bars and restaurants is not great. But if you want to experience the craziness of Old Delhi, stay here. The hotel was undergoing renovations when we were there so it was a little disruptive with the dining room closed etc. The rooms are basic, but clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is good. The breakfast is basic but tasty.

Hot water is not always reliable. It would be better if the rooms had tea making facilities - with a kettle for boiling water. Staff are friendly but communication in English was sometimes difficult with some of the house staff.

Large rooms, good service, neat and clean, good behavior, spacious, nice lift service. Polite, staffs are very humble. Very nice hotel. Services are so good.

Good location but little inside with narrow road four wheeler can not enter. But three wheeler or rikshaw can reach easly. Only 100 meter inside. I walked. But Very nice hotel
