Our five days at Double Tree Goa was outstanding, it was our best hotel experience during our six week adventure across India. Our room was immaculate and spacious, luxuriously appointed, and with a serene and calming view across the river. The pool was absolutely wonderful. We ate all meals for five days at the restaurant and they were all fabulous - great variety, very tasty, and beautifully presented. On some occasions, food was specially prepared for us. But most importantly, all the staff - absolutely all - were just outstanding. They were so kind, polite, good humoured, and attentive. Sadly, we were both quite unwell while staying at the hotel due to a nasty stomach infection that we both picked up just before we arrived in Goa. We relied heavily on the staff to take care of us for a number of days, including arranging a doctor on Christmas Eve and a visit to hospital on Christmas Day. During this difficult time, we felt like we were genuinely looked after, not just "managed". Staff were incredibly available and patient with us during this stressful time. Above all we felt safe in a foreign land - you cannot put a price on this.

The attention, assistance , care and helpfulness of the staff was more than outstanding. Nothing was spared to make our stay enjoyable. Special mention of Sarang n Simran at Frontdesk, Sima n others in the Restaurant and Shona in the Spa who went out of their way to be helpful. The river view rooms are well worth the little extra. Housekeeping is good n prompt. Breakfast selection is nice n varied. Service mostly great.

As we were attending the Serendipity Festival the location at the outskirts required us to have a car at all times. Overall the hotel needs a bit of a face-lift as it's age is showing e.g the corridor carpets need replacement and woodwork needs renovation n polishing.

The staff were incredible, spa was beautiful - I had an amazing facial from Eesha, the food was wonderful, the location was peaceful, the property was well looked after. My room was lovely (thank you Anirudh for the upgrade and kind welcome). Deea was very nice and helpful with booking transport. As a solo female traveller I felt very well looked after.

The location was fine for me as I wanted to relax, but it was a 15-20 min taxi ride to the nearest city so maybe less ideal for people who want to be close ti action. I missed having bar to go and sit, however the communal areas were very pleasant.

Firstly I would like to mention Mr Rahul Singh from Security team for his special warmth and attention to make sure the stay is more pleasant than already. Helps you with minute details and speaks very kindly for all the naval like personality. Everything apart is great as well, u might bump into casino guests in the lobby which makes it little crowded at times. Thanks to people like Rahul to make sure security is uptight all the time.

Proximity to main market. Nothing much outside of the property or around to go out about .

The breakfast buffet spread was exquisite - including both continental & local cuisines! The scenic location of the hotel offered a great sense of safety, respite and tranquility. The staff were impeccable & very very helpful. The pool area was very beautiful & well maintained too!

The staff were lovely & assisted me a lot. No complaints with the service!! However, as I was travelling/ staying alone, I found it a bit challenging to figure out logistics, on the spot and could have used even more help.

River view, swimming pool, breakfast, high tea, room service are exceptionally good. As Goa Thali was not part of restaurant menu, chef Narayan gladly accepted our special request and prepared an amazing one, special thanks. Property’s support n cleaning staffs are nice, hotel have a differently abled( deaf n dump) staff which is very encouraging sign. Elle spa service was amazing and worth for money. To our surprise, there is an onshore casino adjacent to the property and can easily kill the time. Very good one too.(Cadillac diamond) Best place for a staycation

Few gaps were there but promptly resolved by the hotel team. There is a discrepancy in payment terms between booking.com and hotel reservation section. The entire stay amount was deducted 3 days prior even though the term was supposed to be “Pay at property”. Upon discussing this issue, Hotel upgraded my room upon arrival. I prefer my payment terms “ pay at property” rather than such compensation, but nothing much can be done so accepted the upgrade.

The services meet the expectation for a Hilton hotel, with a staff that know their job, and is very helpful in solving any problem. The room is clean and pleasant, with (in our case) a great view on the river. The breakfast is very good, with both Indian and continental options, and some dishes prepared at request. The two restaurants offer good food, in a cosy environment. The swimming pool is nice, but it was too hot for us to use it that much (not a hotel's fault, obviously). The location is perfect for driving around and visiting Goa, with Panaji reacheable in circa 20 minutes.

The communications before the trip were not optimal. We had few questions, and the answers came after a while, and incomplete.

Loved the area around the pool, the balcony view to the river, the people were so nice. Beds are super comfy. People took very good care of me. Chandan was so kind and always greeted with a smile. Even the spa is very good.

The food is terrible - in room dining and the coastal restaurant. The breakfast buffet is way better. I really think Hilton should up its food game. Also, the bathroom flooring has water stains so needs a proper deep clean or renovation.

The breakfast was excellent. Had a nice spread for south indian, north indian as well as continental items. We felt that the batter prepared for dosas, idlis was a bit sour and quality could have been improved. Other than that, every other item was delicious.

We could have been provided with beach towels for our stay. Since Goa is known for its beaches, Also the rooms look a bit outdated and need fresh redesigning like bath tubs in bathrooms. Sometimes the elevators were not working.

Overall Good experience in terms of Location , Room Facilities & Breakfast spread .. Restaurant staff & Sheafs are really good . well trained staff & responsive.

Every time we entered from Foyer; it really made us uncomfortable due to the Casino visiting Crowd... Resort could have planned back entry for the Casino so that families are not disturbed due to Such mannerless crowds making all the ladies uncomfortable .
