The staff were outstanding and responsive. They put service front and centre. Call out to Padmini the housekeeper who went above and beyond to make our stay better. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to the sights in French quarter. The manager Kavitha is fab! The courtyard restaurant, greenery and I have to mention my favourite cocktail, the green mango margarita!

The first room we had was not great but the staff corrected that promptly.

Beautiful ambience inside out! Awesome hospitality right from reception to the housekeeping staff. Prabhu was of such a great help in guiding us thru in picking right and safe places to hang out. Through our stay he made sure everything was of utmost perfection. Padmini - house keeping staff went an extra mile in arranging medication to our friend. Prabhu - though we were checking out for the day, he took our last min desperate request for addressing flat tyre issue.

The room was cozy, =big enough with a nice veranda and well equipped. the location is exceptional with many attractions in a short walking distance

Although the dinner was fine, the meals in general are too expensive. Note than not all the rooms are equally good. we spend 3 nights and had to move after the first one to a better one

Very tasty food, courteous and friendly staff, routinely enquiring about the food, stay and anything else that they could help us with. Need to specially mention Sunita at the front desk, Padmini, Aswathi, Ana and all the others whose names I don’t know. Will definitely stay here and recommend this place to everyone.

This is a historical building, so cannot expect everything to be up to the standards of a modern building. They have made the most effort to include all the modern elements into a historic building without losing its old world charm.

Loved the attitude of the staff, very friendly, very helpful, especially Prabhu, Diki, Padmini and Gopal who went out of their way to make my husband and I comfortable. We celebrated my husband’s birthday at the property and the staff out did themselves in making it extra special for my husband.

The property is old and needs a lot of maintenance, especially in the rooms.

Needs better parking management and also customer data was breached and a scammer contacted to make a payment .

Very friendly staff, prompt laundry service and food and drink service, attentive details. Staff met my special requests and went out of their way to help me and keep me happy. The bed was gorgeous and such a delight to sleep in! Perfect pillow, great mattress, makes all the different when in India long term. AC was fantastic.

I wish I had known about their massage and related services before checkout and paying my bill! Please just put promo for this in each room (even in the closet) or mention it at check in.

Restaurant staff not particularly welcome or friendly. Housekeeping and reception staff very friendly and helpful.

This was a repeat visit as the standard has always been good. Some confusion why breakfast was notincluded this time- seems to down to booking.com as it was when we booked direct before. Otherwise very happy with room and service, friendly, helpful staff.
