Very welcoming staff. Reception manager Raj had rung me earlier to confirm time of arrival. He also suggested timings to visit the Golden Temple and arranged a taxi for us. He also kindly went way above expectation and assisted us on the day of departure when we had our bus cancelled the night before rebooked then received multiple confusing texts! He also rang us later to make sure we had got on the bus ok. Breakfast was well catered for all residents. Fruit platter in room on arrival nice touch.

There was an issue with the cleaning however when escalated this was promptly dealt with satisfactorily. No hairdryer in the room ( but I didn’t ask reception for one so it wasn’t an issue). Fragrant drains intermittently in the bathroom

I am frequent visitor in vellore. I have stayed in other star catagory hotels , but this hotel is awesome. There are lots of things for which my family found this place most friendly , but specially the ever smiling and well behaved staff. Thirumal and Praveen in housekeeping are exceptional. Neat and clean rooms, excellent room services. Front office person is very friendly and cooperation was exceptional. Food is awesome, I think they have the best varieties of food in vellore, as we are from bengal our family is not used to local varieties, but this chef is so good that everytime asked about our taste and recipes and done accordingly with an utmost care. I would prefer people from Northeast should choose this hotel for homely food preparation. Exceptional hotel 🏨 👌.

Very good Service by all the staff especially Sudhakar and Raja at the restaurant. Towel service, toiletries, bed, cleanliness and courteous staff - very good.

Pillows, bathroom pipe fittings - need replacement. Closed car parking area undergoing some Repair work.

Responses from staff were very prompt for any request. Apart from Bed and Breakfast, the tariff included evening tea/coffee with hot snacks, which was a bonus.

Renovation work was on and the emanating noise during the day was a huge disturbance

Food in general and breakfast in particular was exceptional. Courteous staff is a hallmark of GRT which we enjoy in all their properties. Room was well kept, clean and comfortable.

The location was not so great.

Very homely environment. Humble and helpful staff. Very welcoming. They care for my pets a lot.

The filter coffee. I prefer more aromatic and mood-setting coffee powders such as Nescafe, Sunrise, Bru, Continental, etc.

I am frequently visiting vellore. I have stayed here earlier. But this time noticed issue with cleanliness. But the staff are very corporative so with their smiles they tried to overcome this issues but I think they should check the issues of cleanliness, neither .

The breakfast was sumptous with local food being the main focus. Coffee was exceptionally great!! Very enjoyable breakfast setting, everything as you would like it. The Menu was also slightly different for different days. Really enjoyed.

Should have a smoking area or a room

Decent property, decent room and easy access to the highways.

Non working bathroom door lock, traffic ridden approach road to the hotel (very close to a traffic signal) and frequent AC cuts in the room. Not exactly value for money for what's on offer.
