1. Extremely courteous staffs & prompt service. They were ready to serve 24 hours and would deliver service even before I could finish my sentence. They even applied for the police verification for me which is required by CMC Hospital which otherwise would have to be done by me by visiting the police station. They didnot even charge anything extra for this additional service. 2. The security guards on the front entrance were really supportive and arranged Autos for me while I waited in the lobby. 3. The room service was really good and reasonable pricing. Servings were large portions, so two person were easily able to share. Also they would visit after 1hr of serving the food to take away the dishes so we didn't have to struggle with the stinking dishes in the room. 4. Rooms were exceptionally clean and they had multiple environmental friendly policies. also had hair dryers, coffee/tea arrangement & laundry service in the room. 5. They have a beautiful garden behind their hotel and we would leave bananas by the windows for the monkeys to feed, who would visit everyday during the morning. Also the beautiful mountains were visible from the window. However the garden belonged to a private owner and was inaccessible for hotel guests. 6. Rooms facing the main road were noisy since the hotel is just by the highway. However the staffs had apologized for this prior to my check-in, which was a really nice gesture. 7. Upon request, they would serve breakfast early at 6.30am for guests who had to leave early to the hospital. 8. They had few of the best restaurant of Vellore in walking distance; Darling Namma Vadu (Next door to the hotel) & Vellore Kitchen (50m from the property) to be specific. I even met few South Indian Celebrities in these restaurants. 9. Location was in a favourable area. Had good restaurants nearby & also the Vellore fort was just 400m away.

1. No dental kit (toothbrush & toothpaste) was provided in the room. 2. Inhouse dining facilities were not available. Only room service was available. Although they had good restaurants nearby. 3. Breakfast had only options for South Indian cuisines. Anyone with different taste bud would have to struggle. 4. Front road facing rooms were slightly noisy during the day. However very quiet during the night. 5. Tourist necessities like money exchange, travel agents were 2km away from the hotel.

I reached the hotel by night around 10.30 , ordered food in room service it's was melting in my mouth chef came to my room taken order from me he made home style chicken curry which made me home away from home , next day breakfast was yummy with good choice on spot dosa was good , neat and clean room , WiFI is very strong, reception was manner around the clock , special thanks to security gaurd who helps me in getting my luggage

Nothing to say over all its a good hotel for corporate

Good breakfast, with traditional and tasty South Indian food, and the staffs are very good, they are served the food as per our requirements. The rooms are very good and very comfortable to stay in, especially General Manager is a very problem solver, for our small issues and he cares for the guest with his maximum support. In Vellore, Royal Grande is the best Hotel to stay, and I will say again, if we have the chance to come to Vellore.

Better care for the Guest, even for any small request

pleasant stay in the hotel. Room is clean and the toiletries items provided are good. Staff is courteous and attend the requests in a pleasant manner. Morning free breakfast for booking.com customers is good treat. Food taste is good and well served in the room. But still restaurant will be a good option.

No Restaurant. Car parking is clogged with water due to heavy rain.

At 4:00 AM, we got hot water in the tap almost instantly,. Usually even around 7:00 AM, very common answer from the receptionists of most of the hotels are...'just let 3 to 4 buckets of the water be out (wasted!!), before you get hot water '. Please pass our appreciation to the hotel management.

There's nothing to dislike..

My stay was pleasant. The amenities were reasonably sufficient and premises and room was clean. Laundry service too was prompt. The breakfast too was reasonable.

I wasn't happy with the WiFi the hotel provided. It was erratic in strength despite my request.

The staff at the hotel was very accomodating. They went out of their way to solve some little issues. If you stay here, they will take care of you.

The hotel is right on a busy road. However the rooms to the back of the hotel do not have traffic noise, so request a room to the back.

Everything in this hotel is perfect... Room size is good, courteous staff, exceptional room service and cleanliness.value for money is great. Stayed for a week , felt like home... Thank hotel staff for great service...

The Rooms were very spacious. The staff was very cooperative. The lady at reception helped us Check In, it took hardly 2-3 mins. Mr. Venkat who is the in charge of Breakfast was very helpful, kind and efficient. Mr. Pappu at reception arranged the Taxi in 5 mins. The Check Out was very smooth. Mr. Imtiaz who is the manager himself did the check out. He was very polite and helpful. Over all the experience was very nice.

I have a feedback for Booking.com. There is no option to change the check out date on the Booking.com portal once you check in. It is left to the Hotel and Guest to sort out which is not good. Booking.com portal needs to become more user friendly.
