We had a lovely stay here, lovely staff that were really friendly and helpful. The room had great air-conditioning, a fridge, and a large room with plenty of storage. The swimming pool was clean and a nice area to relax in. It's also in a great location, quiet and peaceful but close to cafes, restaurants and the beach. We hired a scooter from the accommodation, which was also really helpful and a great price. To top it off, there is a beautiful little black puppy who hangs around there. He is so cute and sweet. We started to feed him and have left food with the accommodation to help look after him. So if he is still around and you like dogs please offer to buy him some food or give him some love as he is only a puppy (probably less than 6 months old) and we fell in love with him. Unfortunately, the rescue centres are all full, so the dogs rely on peoples kindness (P.S. any updates on the pup would be amazing)

The pool was amazing, the room spacious and we had a fantastic breakfast every morning. A little bit away from the action but we liked that! A really amazing place to relax and unwind away from the crazy hustle and bustle of other busy places in Bali. There's also a new cafe opened up right outside the villas, the staff are lovely and offer great selections of coffee, pastries and sandwiches...

Our resident female lizard in our bedroom who was impossible to catch (we tried and so did the staff)... She attracted all the horny males in the neighborhood into our room and if you've ever heard a gecko mating call...IYNYN...

Our room was spacious, quiet, staff was very friendly, we enjoyed meeting other people by the pool and at breakfast. The pool was great, wonderful well kept garden/ outside area.

Nothing we disliked, just maybe something to improve. Maybe there could be more area with shade by the pool. The aircon is great, however there is such a waste of energy because the construction is not really isolated, so not great for global warming. But this is a general issue not just here

Beautiful pool area and very comfortable bed (but old linens and pillows, so if you’re fussy this might not be the right place for you). Staff friendly.

Reasonably run down (in my room (room 8), but I can’t speak for the other rooms), Bed was comfortable with secure mosquito net, but old discoloured linen. Room wasn’t cleaned at all in the 7 nights I stayed, so I definitely think that would help a little. Bathroom in my room was old and average, and 2 lights didn’t work, but then again I was happy enough to stay for the 7 nights as I am not fussy.

I loved the location, it is so quiet and surrounded by rice fields but really close walking distance to the main town. The surronding cafes are the best. The room was huge and having a Kitchenette was super convenient. Pool and gardens are stunning and staff are so amazing. Really felt at home here we booked more nights because we don’t want to leave.

Above all, we were most impressed with the beautiful staff at Damar Sanjaya Uttama! Such kind and warm people, nothing was too much trouble!! The room was spacious, clean and definitely value for money!! R.E location, it’s in the quieter part of Amed, which we actually really loved. Surrounded by corn fields, banana tree’s and palms; with a short 1 minute walk to the volcanic black sand beach- we couldn’t recommend more highly !!

The bungalow was cute and very well appointed and the view from the room, even from the bed, over the balcony and those colourful plants was fantastic. The lights in the room and on the balcony were good enough to read by. The breakfast was extraordinary and there were a good selection of dishes for dinner as well. We also appreciated the free shuttle the hotel provided. All staff were very friendly.

The outdoor chairs could do with some cushions. I abandoned having a bath in the bathtub because of the hot water pressure being rather weak.

A very good option, low key but does the trick and is definitely a value for money. Rooms are big! The staff were always around and ready to help. I'd stay again when I'm back in Amed so that's a good sign.

The rooms are a bit run down, need a patch up work and maintenance in a few places. I wish the rooms had a cooker.

The owner was super friendly! He came to pick us up and we had a wonderful chat in the car. The bungalows are exactly as they look in the photos. The plants and pool really make it look like a slice of paradise. The air conditioning is nice and powerful, and the mosquito net is really helpful as well. It is located a little bit outside of town, but we rented a scooter as necessary and never had any issues going anywhere. That said, it's just far enough to make snorkeling on the coast by yourself a little difficult.

Since it's a bit in the rural area, there can be quite a bit of insects. There are a lot of ants, and you can get swarmed with ants if you leave food containers open. We left a pack of opened nuts in our backpack and it ended up covered with ants.

Beautiful property and So comfortable. Gorgeous surroundings, majority of the staff were amazing!

There was just one staff member that wasn’t very helpful and was very stern. I also overheard the same person being stern with another guest simply inquiring about getting a juice and was sharply shut down.
