We loved the location, the friendliness of the staff, the decor and architecture of the hotel. It was kept very clean and any requests for water or ice were always promptly met. Someone was always available to assist. The rooms are lovely and spacious, giving a relaxed feel.

The on-site restaurant and bar had closed and no room service was available. For those checking in late at night, this could be a problem. A few minor things like no extra pillows in the room or ironing board. Minor but for the price, should be in the room. Also note that the pools in the pool suite are not heated and are not in the sun, so can be on the colder side.

The slow is in the perfect location right in the middle of Canggu! Being so central there is obviously a little bit of outside noise but I found it not at all disruptive. I also love the design of the property is superb with an industrial/vintage/tropical style - I would love my home to look like this! The pool suites really do feel like a private oasis and the complimentary espresso martini kit was a great touch. Staff were also lovely, friendly and helpful. I would have loved to have spent much longer here than my short stay allowed.

I visited this property prior to Covid pandemic and at the time the bar/restaurant was owned/managed by the hotel. At the time it had a great atmosphere that complimented the accommodation and had great food and drinks. And was probably of a higher standard than alot of the surrounding food & beverage options. . Post pandemic the restaurant is now managed seperately to the hotel and it does not seem to have the same atmosphere and offerings as before which is noticeable given the venues in the surrounding area are very busy and buzzing and have become a much higher standard.

The location of the property was perfect, really central and a close walk to the beach. The interiors were beautiful, every nook had art pieces or installations which made the experience really special. There was a curated playlist that you could switch on in your room as well. The team really looked after their guests !

There was no basic coffee machine in the room. I think this is one detail that really needs to be addressed- also the owner of the restaurant was different to that of the property so if you ordered a coffee from room service you could not charge it to the room/ settle on check out. It wasn’t a huge inconvenience but I think it would be great if there was a coffee machine in each room for convenience.

If you are looking to stay in Canggu close to the beach/bars then this is a great spot. We had our own private pool which was perfect as we were there during Nyepi (day of silence) unfortunately there was no outdoor seating provided, just a couple of skinny cushions which didn’t provide much comfort on the hard concrete. The restaurant provided very yummy modern Mexican and we could basically order any time we liked. I ended up with Bali belly on my day of check out and the staff were absolutely so understanding and accommodating to my needs, which I really appreciate. Definitely a good spot for a short stay.

The room and facilities were stunning - very chic and contemporary. It really felt so luxurious. The staff were so kind and extremely available and helpful with any request or questions. The cocktails and food were both delicious. Highly recommend splurging for the private pool room - it is so so worth it.

We loved everything! If I have one comment it would be that we would have loved the asian lunch/dinner options to be available for breakfast - we found that most places (the slow included) seem to only offer western breakfast which is a little disappointing as I love Indonesian food and can get western breakfast anywhere back home. The breakfast was still amazing though! Cannot fault this place.

Loved the architecture of the hotel - minimalist modern design, lots of polished concrete and refined stylish fittings. Super comfy bed, large clean bathrooms and bedrooms. The DIY espresso martini kit on arrival at the room was a nice touch! Location is very convenient, with a lot of restaurant and shopping options nearby. Don't bother with taxis if you can avoid it - hop on the Grab bikes and save yourself time and money for zipping around Canggu. The restaurant/bar on the ground floor (Maize) had great cocktails and food - surprisingly always empty, which seemed a shame.

If you accept that there's going to be some road noise and music from the bar/club across the street, then there's nothing that stood out as an area of improvement.

We booked the pool suite. The space is beautiful. Simple brutalist tropical style. I loved the features and simplicity. And to finally sleep on a firm bed. I had the best nights sleep. It is noisy - as it’s right on the main road. But nothing that keeps you up. There isn’t a tv, a communal pool or coffee and tea in the room - BUT THERES A COMPLIMENTARY ESPRESSO MARTINI!! A SPEAKER WITH MUSIC! And if you book a pool suite and pool which is the coldest one yet!!! I’d come back. It was wonderful.

The staff were so friendly and helpful with things beyond their job description. The place had a relaxed luxurious feel

The rooms all had no television at all. I booked a pool room but did not receive one. Standard toiletries such as ear plugs and lotions were at an additional cost to the price of the room, which I found insulting; there was a ‘menu/price list’ for the toiletries provided to outline the additional charge prior to opening anything.

The design of the rooms is excellent and all amenities you could wish for are present. The location on Jalan Pantai Batu Bolong puts you smack in the middle of the action. The staff on-site is friendly and accommodating.

It is likely a byproduct of past bad experiences with guests, but the tone in the (standard) messages leading up to our stay was anything but hospitable. There was the heads up about noise from passing motorbikes and music downstairs which was definitely necessary. Yet it all could have been brought in a far better way. The tone used was reminiscent of being read your rights where anything you say/do can and will be used against you. Room for improvement there

The design of the room, it was so spacious. Location was perfect. They offered daily complimentary breakfast. Staff were very attentive & fast.

Its very noisy, we can hear everything outside and we can hear our neighbors upstairs or anyone passing outside. I just wish there was sound proof.
