I really liked this guest house. The bed and pillows were the nicest I have had in Bali. I loved the kittens running around, the water dispenser came in handy for making my own coffee and tea, and the fact that the guest house is was tucked away from the busyness of Canggu. The room was small but fully sufficient.

Unfortunately, the people coming home in the wee hours were quite loud as they were walking by and using the stairs to go upstairs. I would try to stay upstairs and away from the stairwell next time. The first few nights, it was hard to get uninterrupted sleep. This obviously was not the fault of the guest house.

We had a lovely stay in Laksmi Guest House. The location is perfect, it's a few minutes walk to the beach and restaurant's and shops are just around the corner. Room was super clean, fresh towels every day and they even changed our sheets in the middle of our stay. The hosts are always in the house and even helped us when someone tried to rob us in a money exchange near by, for which we're very grateful! Highly recommend!

A true oasis for the budget traveler. Parallel to one of the busiest streets in canggu and In the midst of premium /luxury branded accommodations lies a modest, family run homestay that doubles as a home away from home. The genuine warmth of the hosts coupled with their disciplined sense of cleanliness makes your stay unequaled in the vicinity. Located in an alley that can be missed with a wrong glance, safety and privacy are available abundantly here. A short walk to the beach and a quick hop to a hoard of restaurants + Spa's in the opposite direction, you will never be left more fulfilled and at peace with yourself in any other place. Endless supply of Wi-fi, cold/warm drinking water, instant coffee/tea, fresh towels, effective AC and not to forget the precious lil family of felines that hangout with you.

The access road gets flooded after moderate/heavy rain... could turn out to be a hazard for those choosing to walk around.

I was so very positively surprised, because it actually was looking better in real than on the pictures. There are a lot of things that make the stay better: free water refillment with either cool, normal or hot water. They make the room every single day, which is rare on bali, and fill up the coffee and tee you have used. Very friendly and very kind hosts. The view from the bottom room you can see a lot of green. The best thing: it's so close to everything in canggu, but it is really really quite. In the evening you hear live music which always stopped before 10.

Just 2 smalls things: i would have liked to re-use my towel (better for the environment) and the closet was smelling damp. Probably because previous guests hang wet clothes in there. Other than that: excellent stay.

Location location location. Lovely, kind hosts. Comfortable beds, good shower and an excellent room in general. The timid little doggo who has chosen to make this place home and heal after what seems like a traumatic past.

Construction surrounds. Although this issue is not at all unique to this property, it seems as though construction is everywhere in Canggu. Despite this, I would still choose this place over any other if I were to return to Canggu as everything else was simply excellent.

one of our favourite guest houses while staying in bali. very comfortable room and the location is excellent! such a close walk to the beach and all restaurants and good shops! they also own lots of cats, which we loved to play with outside our room each night. when visiting canggu again, we will 100% be staying here again.

Laksmi Guest House is ideally located in Canggu. It's close to the sea and shops, which was very convenient for me as I don't drive a scooter. The room was nice and clean.

The host has taken in a dog from the street that she doesn't tie up. And he barked at me every time I saw him. He tried to bite me once when I was coming back from the restaurant and it was getting dark. I just wasn't reassured on that point.

Strong wifi. Good location. Comfortable place to stay. Kettle in room. Good aircon.

No fridge in room, but there's a communal fridge on 1st floor. Its only a guesthouse thus you dont get a private kitchen, but there's plenty good restaurants around in that area.
