convenient location of the hotel, the sea, various shops and cafes within walking distance. friendly staff and very large bed.

It's very noisy, you can hear the construction, every bike that passes by and all the conversations in the hotel lobby. old uncomfortable pillows

Sammy's Canggu was easily the best place we have stayed in Bali. The location was superb, the staff were generous and lovely, and the owner was great! Facilities were top notch and felt very safe. We will definitely be back.

The pool and staff were fantastic. Coming back to a well air-conditioned room after a walk to near by food outlets on a hot afternoon was great. The locals are friendly and helpful. The beach down the road is good for beginners and intermediate surfers, and a surfboard hire will cost about $10 aus for two hours. The food options within one km is exstensive, from $2:50 lunch from a street cart, to an 8 course meal at a Japanese restaurant for about $60 aus, usually lunch or dinner costs $ 7 - $ 15 aus / person. Expect to see a bit of rubbish about, and there is a lot of construction work going on. The owner and staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We’ll be back

In an amazing location close to delicious cafes and only 5mins walk to the beach. The room was spacious, clean and it was nice to have drinking water provided. All staff were really friendly and had great communication over WhatsApp. The pool area was a nice place to relax in too!

I didn't find the bed and pillows very comfortable, the pillows really need upgrading. I had an issue with a running toilet which wasn't dealt with for a full day, however when speaking to the owner she upgraded my room for the remainder of my stay without hesitation.

Over developed & busy Canggu in 2024 isn’t the laid back Canggu of 2019.

The location is very convenient to go to the beach and move around Canggu. The staff is helpful and kind. The room is spacious and comfortable for 2 people. The wifi connection is good, enough to work with a laptop.

The bathroom requires minor fixings (for example, the faucet sprang water around) The mattress wasn't super comfortable for my needs, but still good The area is next to the center so it might get noisy at night (this is a feature of the neighborhood, not of the property itself)

The hotel was very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. I originally booked a standard studio bedroom, but was pleasantly surprised to receive a free upgrade to a one-bedroom loft apartment on the second floor. At first, I was a bit unhappy because my luggage was heavy, but the hotel arranged staff to help with it, so everything went smoothly. There was even an adorable dog at the hotel! The staff were all very warm and friendly. The location is also great—close to lots of delicious food and fun places to explore. Overall, I was very happy and satisfied with my stay!

Loved my month at Sammy's. I've stayed in many places in Canggu and this was top of the list. :) So quiet even though it's right downtown and walking to the beach and all the shops and cafes. Lovely staff and owner--easy to communicate with and quickly responded to anything I needed (change the empty cooking gas, etc).

The ONLY thing I wish had been different was having a sunny pool to lounge by. (There is a very nice pool area, but it doesn't get much sun....at least during the month of May. :))

Great location, close to local markets and popular restaurants. Room was styled very nicely and it was clean and comfortable. When checking out we had to wait a while for our car to arrive and we were able to leave our bags in a locked storage room and return. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was also a night guard on the premises when returning late, which gave peace of mind.

We booked the two level loft, stairs were slightly steep to get to the top bed. If other guests are talking loudly in the next room or in the hallway, this noise does carry.

Great location - central to restaurants, shops, bars, cafes, and Batu Bolong surf beach. The staff was very friendly and welcomining, unlike what you'd probably find at a larger chain hotel. The room service was excellent and the room itself was very spacious and comfortable. The pool was right outside my room and towels were provided. I like the minimalist and stylish feel of the hotel.

I liked everything. No complaints.
