convenient location of the hotel, the sea, various shops and cafes within walking distance. friendly staff and very large bed.

It's very noisy, you can hear the construction, every bike that passes by and all the conversations in the hotel lobby. old uncomfortable pillows

Sammy's Canggu was easily the best place we have stayed in Bali. The location was superb, the staff were generous and lovely, and the owner was great! Facilities were top notch and felt very safe. We will definitely be back.

In an amazing location close to delicious cafes and only 5mins walk to the beach. The room was spacious, clean and it was nice to have drinking water provided. All staff were really friendly and had great communication over WhatsApp. The pool area was a nice place to relax in too!

I didn't find the bed and pillows very comfortable, the pillows really need upgrading. I had an issue with a running toilet which wasn't dealt with for a full day, however when speaking to the owner she upgraded my room for the remainder of my stay without hesitation.

Over developed & busy Canggu in 2024 isn’t the laid back Canggu of 2019.

The hotel was very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. I originally booked a standard studio bedroom, but was pleasantly surprised to receive a free upgrade to a one-bedroom loft apartment on the second floor. At first, I was a bit unhappy because my luggage was heavy, but the hotel arranged staff to help with it, so everything went smoothly. There was even an adorable dog at the hotel! The staff were all very warm and friendly. The location is also great—close to lots of delicious food and fun places to explore. Overall, I was very happy and satisfied with my stay!

Loved my month at Sammy's. I've stayed in many places in Canggu and this was top of the list. :) So quiet even though it's right downtown and walking to the beach and all the shops and cafes. Lovely staff and owner--easy to communicate with and quickly responded to anything I needed (change the empty cooking gas, etc).

The ONLY thing I wish had been different was having a sunny pool to lounge by. (There is a very nice pool area, but it doesn't get much sun....at least during the month of May. :))

Great location, close to local markets and popular restaurants. Room was styled very nicely and it was clean and comfortable. When checking out we had to wait a while for our car to arrive and we were able to leave our bags in a locked storage room and return. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was also a night guard on the premises when returning late, which gave peace of mind.

We booked the two level loft, stairs were slightly steep to get to the top bed. If other guests are talking loudly in the next room or in the hallway, this noise does carry.

Fast wifi, great location, friendly staff and comfortable room with Smart TV for watching Netflix, Prime, etc. Recommended for travelling nomads looking for apartment living with fast reliable internet for video calls approx ~60mb/s down/up.

Some of the light fixtures in my room didn't work. I mentioned this to staff who said it would be repaired but it was not :( It seems management do not perform frequent checks to ensure lights/fittings are in good order or are okay with them falling in disrepair.

This is a nice botique hotel. It's just off the main road, right in the middle of the busiest part of Canggu. Staff were very friendly, air conditioner was cold and rooms were comfortable. There is a bar and a pool which wasn't busy when I was there.

The apartment it had steep stairs, there wasn't any hand soap, no table lamps and the pilows were very flat. Apart from that still a very good stay. Some construction noise next door which ran from 6am to 9pm but that won't be forever.

We found the staff very accommodating with equipment around the hotel and for our room. The interior was clean and luxurious. Location was very handy with the beach down the road (10 min walk).

There were gaps between the door and door frame so there were a few mosquitos in our room, however the staff quickly bought us stronger mosquito repellant. Thank you!
