We had such a great stay here! The hotel exceeded our expectations. Perfect location, and our room was wonderful - clean with a great shower - not to mention the breakfast with many options. Their restaurant Fat Cats at the beach was our favourite - lovely staff, great food and reasonable price. Despite being a diving center, we could still enjoy and relax in the beautiful and quiet pool located at the back. Yes, it is next to the mosque and the prayers will be very loud, especially at 5am. Nothing that earplugs can't help you with - we honestly did not mind starting our days at 5am to enjoy the most out of Gili T!

Just wrapped up an incredible stay at Trawangan Dive Resort, and I can’t stop raving about it! The poolside rooms were fantastic—clean, comfortable, and just steps away from the pool, which was an absolute dream to relax in after a day of diving. I took the Open Water Course here, and it was top-notch. The small group sizes made for a personalized and stress-free learning experience. A special shoutout to my instructor, Henry—he was phenomenal! His passion and expertise made the course both educational and fun.  The resort’s location is perfect—right on the beachfront and close to everything you need. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, and the breakfast buffet had a great variety to kickstart the day. Overall, Trawangan Dive Resort exceeded all my expectations. Whether you’re a seasoned diver or a newbie like me, this place is the perfect spot to dive in and chill out. Can’t wait to come back!

Located right in the heart of most happening place in the island, the property is outstanding. The amenities, breakfast, service were top notch. Has great swimming pools, bar/restaurant right in front to buy some drinks and chill in the pool. Night life is incredible in and around the property. But the best part is the scuba diving offered by the hotel. The courses are PADI recognised and the instructors are incredible. The beginners scuba that we opted for 16 people has to be the greatest experience ever had. The instructors were very thorough and confident, which really boosted our morale and diving itself had to be the best experience ever!

Not much tbh, but there are chances of geckos which is actually common to the island, so can be ignored

To sum up our 4 days stay … I’d say the location was fantastic, step out of the hotel and you can find everything you need: the best restaurants beach front or otherwise , bars , live music shops , souvenirs and places to book ur tours , rent snorkels etc. The island is infamous for its parties but what a lot of people don’t mention is that it’s all over by 1am and another thing to note is that there aren’t wild parties everywhere … there is a system in play where the restaurants take turns hosting the big nights , be it karaoke Latino night or DJ and dancing! Turn left from the hotel and swim with the turtles … avoid all the dive boats and the strong current just opposite hotel . I wish I had known this earlier . The hotel staff is lovely. Room was great as were the beds and the balcony was really big! Bathroom basic but ticks all the boxes . Wifi and hot water also great . Oh breakfast was great too ! Eggs pancakes some local options cereal fruit coffee sausages … what more could anyone want :)

This dive center/hotel has it all! Although the facilities were packed into a relatively small space, they are well-thought out, with dive center, indoor and beachside restaurants and lovely private pool away from the street. Good breakfast buffet included in the price, including specialty coffee. Excellent dive center with professional, fun staff. Wan was our dive master and he was absolutely great; knowledgeable, attentive, and very personable. All staff were amazing; we especially enjoyed getting to know Ady and Kama.

Being next to the mosque made for some loud call to prayer!

The resort is predominantly designed as a Diving Centre, so is perfect if this is what you are looking to do. It is very central, about a 10mins walk from the pier (or you can get a horse and cart for free 100.000). The hotel rooms were comfortable and clean and there is a separate pool at the back for guests that isn’t used for dive training. It is a perfect hotel for using as a base for exploring the main road on the island, and the food served at the main restaurant was great! The staff were so friendly, from the dive instructors to the cleaners, a shout out to my incredible instructor Oki and then also Yara and Ben for making the diving experience so exceptional. I actually booked a return stay a week later to do more diving.

I stayed for the purpose of diving, so I have no complaints. Just note it is located next door to a mosque which starts call to prayer at around 5.30am. Not a problem if you need to rise early to dive, it’s a useful alarm clock, but should be noted for light sleepers. The hotel do message and inform you of this when you book. This is a perfect hotel for guests wanting to dive, but I wouldn’t suggest it if you are looking for a relaxing hotel to chill in all day.

Excellent location, great room view and set up for a family of 4! Loved the private deck overlooking the beach. Great, friendly and helpful staff. Amazing breakfast - the best sourdough bread and pineapple jam! We also enjoyed the private hotel pool. The FatCat restaurant was some of the best food we had on our trip. Also- there is a water cooler at the front desk, bring your water bottles and you can fill for your days on the beach.

The only downside was how close it is to the speakers during the call to prayer - it is quite loud.

The best was we did scuba diving from here, they are awesomely busy so have so much of experience and have a great team. For our son who is 9 years old there was bubble maker program which allowed him to go down till 2 mtr in sea... so that was the prime reason for booking this place. Hotel is around 10mins walk from harbour, lots of restaurants, shops, money exchange are nearby, beach is accross the street. The restaurant is good, offers dining on the beach in the evening. The rooms are basic but clean and spacious. Balcony is big. Rooms are nicely lited. Staff is amazingly cooperative and always ready to help. Special mention to Esther for all her cooperation during the stay. The place is ideal if you want to experience scuba diving.

Check out time of 10.30am is very early. They don't provide bottled water but filtered water. Too much of crowd coming in for diving so pools are always busy and open areas are all occupied by divers. If going for dive then it doesn't matter else you don't get the privacy of being hotel guest.

The location is extraordinary, so is the staff. Overall room design was very modern and mostly clean. Breakfast was mind blowing too. Due to unfavorable weather conditions, our boat from bali to gili was cancelled. But the resort team helped us by connecting to a local agent and recommended an alternative route to reach to gili which we really appreciate

Staff wasn't available after 11PM, needed a hairdryer for the 2 night stay, but couldn't get it as it had to be collected from the reception staff, and by the time we were back, they were off duty. Not a huge issue though.

We had such a great experience at Trawangan Dive Resort. Here are some of the highlights: - it's an easy walk from the ferry and in the heart of everything. - you have the choice of three pools and the beach, with snorkelling right off the foreshore. - the staff are friendly. - the breakfast buffet was AMAZING. Eggs, pancakes, pastries, savoury options, cereal... you name it! - our twin room was very comfortable.

No downsides! But just be aware the mosque is next door so you will hear broadcasts during the day and night.
