We had an amazing stay at Villa Penyu. The location is fabulous. It has a very peaceful and laid back feeling but it’s a less than a 10 minute ride (the hotel can organise bikes for you) into the busy port area where there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. The water in front is beautiful and the snorkelling is great. Head out deeper to see lots of varieties of fish but for the turtles, stay in close as they cruise past Villa Penyu every morning eating sea grass. The food at Villa Penyu is delicious. Breakfast is a small a la carte menu with enough options for variety and it was all great. Real coffee too! We stayed in the two bedroom family villa. It was great for us as our kids are older but if you have young kids, please note the two bedrooms do not have an interconnecting door. Both rooms open out to a court yard that has a small plunge pool. The beds were super comfy! The thing that makes Villa Penyu so great are the beautiful staff. They are so genuinely helpful and kind and will do anything to help you. Special mention for Heru - the loveliest man! Also to Hadi, Wun, Ariya and Shan. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful.

We did not expect much, and we had the best time! Accommodation is modern but cosy, pool is very well located and accessible. Restaurant food is nice and a big variety. The beach is riiiight there, with hotel beach beds and beach towels. One day we just rented snorkels in a stall next to the hotel, and we saw 4-5 turtles on the beach just in front of the hotel. A really great stay, very attentive staff. Thank you! Oh and beeeeautiful sunset from the hotel beach&restaurant.

The breakfast selection a bit boring, but we found out it’s like that at most accommodations (we stayed at 12)

Everything was amazing. Beautiful location, perfectly situated in a nice area, with great snorkelling out the front of the hotel. The hotel grounds were very manicured, stunning florals, beautiful design, and pool, and view of the ocean. Great restaurant, excellent value, so tasty, great service, and nice design. Beautiful, extra large rooms (for us, in the family room, but I assume the others are similar). I was a little worried we would be a bit far from everything, but we were actually in the perfect spot between the busy areas, but near them. For the first time in my life I think I genuinely picked the best option available. I wasn't envious of the bigger hotels, as the pool, location and restaurant were better at Penyu. There really wasn't a better option in my opinion, and if I came back i wouldn't bother hunting around for options again. Staff were obviously amazing too. The room was fresh, clean, pretty, tasteful, and relaxing. The little shops around us also held really nice pearls and other jewellery.

Nothing So happy, was everything and more than I wanted, and more, and so reasonably priced, including the restaurant which was very competitively priced for a hotel.

My husband and I recently stayed at Villa Penyu and we had the best time. The Villa is located away from the busy area (15min walk) of the island and right in front of the turtle point where you can see turtles daily. The staff were welcoming, very friendly and helpful when we needed. They offer laundry and bike hire services which were very convenient. The room was big, comfortable and very clean. We loved staying at Villa Penyu and will definitely come back!

My only recommendation is that the breakfast menu could have more options. Other than that, everything was amazing! :)

Good room and bathroom. Staff is super friendly! They all love Cristiano Ronaldo so it was fun. The food at lunch and diner are quite good and good prices.

Breakfast, very bad in my opinion. To limited. If you drink a juice then you can not eat a fruit plate. If you eat eggs you can no eat a smoothie bowl, to restrict. I was in 6 hotels this Indonesia trip and never had this problem.

We had a wonderful stay and so much so, that we extended it another night! The staff and service was top shelf! We were immediately greeted with the most pleasant attentive people and continued throughout the entire stay. They were so helpful with arranging bicycles and anything we needed. The rules were extremely comfortable and the air-conditioning was amazing, but you can’t always say that with every hotel in the area. It is on the north side of the island so the quieter side. It is about a 20 minute walk to all the party in the action, so if that’s what you’re looking for it might be a bit far. It was perfect for us as our adult children would go off for the night and party, and we stayed on the beach and drank and watch the sunset and played cards. The pool is amazing and we loved everything about our day. They arranged our snorkelling private tour, which I highly recommend to be on a boat with 30 people almost the same price for four of us. The food for every meal was also amazing! People come to this hotel just for the restaurant. We loved it and the service.

We throughly ejoyed our stay here! We weren't sure what to expect but absolutely loved the location right by the tutles. The pool, restaurant and accomodation were awesome! Ate at the restaurant for all but 1 meal over our 4 day stay. My only negative would be that the family room doesn't have internal connecting doors which caught us off guard so we had to split an adult into each room with our younger aged kids..... certainly was totally fine though and the rooms.beds were great! Serivce and staff amazing!

The hotel is in a great location,in front of a nice beach and good snorkeling point. It is new and confortable.The staff is very gentle.If you are looking for something more exclusive this is the place.

When we arrived in our bedroom there was already another guest bag from another person.The staff is new and looks like they are a little bit lost sometimes still.Also we didn't had hot shower during one entire day and the next morning due to a gas problem in our room,so we needed to take cold shower. They tried to fix It but it was no possible.We expected some discount with that,but nothing was done.

We loved the location and how close to the beach we were. Beach was beautiful saw turtles every day. Staff were incredibly friendly and made sure you were always OK. The restaurant was great also.

If I had to say something I would say that the portions of food weren't quite enough..... But was so cheap that we would order extra, so no big deal.

Property location was very good as it was on beachfront. Staff was very good and prompt. Limited veg food options on this property and very few restaurants in GILI T are having Indian Veg options. Staff was very kind to suggest few Indian restaurant to try vegetarian cuisine. And they even helped us to book snorkeling guides at reasonable price.
